Money and Card Clip System and Method

A clip system is disclosed comprising a clip and one or more attaching means. Said clip (having a first end, a second end, a first side, a second side, a front, a back, a height, width, and a depth) comprises a partial enclosure. Said attaching means is capable of attaching said clip to a mobile media device having a face and a back. Said partial enclosure is capable of receiving one or more clip objects.

Description
BACKGROUND

This disclosure relates generally to a money and card clip system and method.

U.S. Patent Application Number US 2007/0057004 A1 filed by Mr. Walt Butler et al. discloses a “Card Carrying Apparatus with Cell Phone Cradle Attachment”. Butler discloses a portable object holder, comprising: a first receptacle having a base, a front cradle portion and a rear face, the front cradle portion sized to receive and retain a least a portion of a handheld electronic device; and a second receptacle having an open end, a base, opposing sides, a front face and a rear face, the front face of the second receptacle affixed to the rear face of the first receptacle, the second receptacle sized to receive and retain one or more objects. Butler, however, leaves much to be improved. First, Butler's portable object holder is bulky having two receptacles, the combination of which means that said portable object holder is likely too large to fit in a user's pockets without a bulge therein. Further, said receptacles are disclosed as receiving said objects and electronic device in a top loading (holster style configuration); therefore, said portable object holder is best used when maintained in an upright position so as to prevent its contents from sliding out of said portable object holder. Next, Walt does not disclose a means of affixing said portable object holder to said electronic device so as to secure said portable object holder (along with objects carried therein) to said electronic device; thus, a user lacks the convenience of consolidating said electronic device with said objects to be carried therewith.

In one prior embodiment, a money clip comprises a base, two side portions, a stop, and a partial enclosure; wherein, said base comprises a top, a bottom, a first side, and a second side; said first side portion is connected to said first side; said second side portion is connected to said second side; said stop is connected to said first end; said partial enclosure comprises the space between said base, said side portions, and said stop; and said partial enclosure is capable of holding an object. Said money clip is well known and available in many variations from many different vendors. In one embodiment, said money clip can further comprise said side portions tapering inward as from said second end to said first end of said base. In another embodiment, said partial enclosure can instead comprise a front portion attached to said first end of said base and wrapping around and substantially parallel with said base; whereby, said partial enclosure is capable of holding said object by a tension between said base and said front portion upon said object. These, and other, embodiments of said money clip are commonly carried in a pocket by users as a means of consolidating said objects (such as paper currency, credit cards, government identification, and other paper items). However, said money clip does not accommodate modern users of a mobile media device (such as mobile phones, media players, portable game machines, and the like). First, a user of said money clip will commonly carry said money clip in the same pocket as said mobile media device; thereby, said user risks scratching a portion of said mobile media device by pressing a portion of said money clip against a portion of said mobile media device vulnerable to scratching. Further, users of said money clip must be cognizant of where said money clip is located in addition to said mobile media device rather than consolidating both devices in one place.

Accordingly, a money and card clip system and method would be advantageous.

SUMMARY

A money and card clip system and method is disclosed. First, a clip system is disclosed comprising a clip and one or more attaching means. Said clip (having a first end, a second end, a first side, a second side, a front, a back, a height, width, and a depth) comprises a partial enclosure. Said attaching means is capable of attaching said clip to a mobile media device having a face and a back. Said partial enclosure is capable of receiving one or more clip objects. Next, a clipping method is disclosed. Said clipping method comprising: attaching a clip, having a partial enclosure, to a mobile media device with one or more adhesive strips; inserting one or more clip objects into said partial enclosure; and holding said clip objects in said partial enclosure. Finally, a clip system is disclosed. Said clip system comprising a clip comprising a case and a partial enclosure. Said partial enclosure is capable of receiving one or more clip objects by inserting said clip objects into said partial enclosure and holding said clip objects in partial enclosure. Said case is capable of receiving a mobile media device by inserting said mobile media device into said case and holding said mobile media device in said case.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Described herein is a money and card clip system and method. The following description is presented to enable any person skilled in the art to make and use the invention as claimed and is provided in the context of the particular examples discussed below, variations of which will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art. In the interest of clarity, not all features of an actual implementation are described in this specification. It will be appreciated that in the development of any such actual implementation (as in any development project), design decisions must be made to achieve the designers' specific goals (e.g., compliance with system- and business-related constraints), and that these goals will vary from one implementation to another. It will also be appreciated that such development effort might be complex and time-consuming, but would nevertheless be a routine undertaking for those of ordinary skill in the field of the appropriate art having the benefit of this disclosure. Accordingly, the claims appended hereto are not intended to be limited by the disclosed embodiments, but are to be accorded their widest scope consistent with the principles and features disclosed herein.

FIGS. 1A, 1B, and 1C illustrate an overview, a front view, and a back view of a clip 100, respectively. In one embodiment, said money and card clip system and method can comprise clip 100. Herein, the term “clip” is understood to include a variety of gripping devices; i.e., a device that grips or clasps loose things together or that holds things firmly. A variety of embodiments of means for gripping, clasping, and holding said loose things shall be disclosed, additional means shall be obvious to those skilled in the art of this disclosure, the full range of equivalents are additionally incorporated herein. Clip 100 can comprise a base 101, one or more side portions 102, a stop 103, and one or more attaching means 104. Side portions 102 can comprise a first side portion 102a and a second side portion 102b. Attaching means 104 can comprise a first attaching means 104a and a second attaching means 104b. In one embodiment, base 101 can comprise a front 105a, a back 105b, a first end 106a, a second end 106b, a first side 106c, and a second side 106d. In one embodiment, each of side portions 102 can comprise an edge portion 107 and a front portion 108. First side portion 102a can comprise an edge portion 107a and a front portion 108a. Second side portion 102b can comprise an edge portion 107b and a front portion 108b. Clip 100 can comprise a partial enclosure 109. In one embodiment, partial enclosure 109 can comprise an opening in clip 100. In one embodiment, partial enclosure 109 can comprise base 101, side portions 102, and stop 103. In one embodiment, each of side portions 102 can attach at first side 106c and second side 106d. In another embodiment, stop 103 can attach at first end 106a. In one embodiment, front portions 108 can comprise a substantially curved edge where each of front portions 108 have curved edges facing one another, as shown in FIGS. 1A, 1B, and 1C.

FIG. 2 illustrates clip 100 attaching to a mobile media device 200. In one embodiment, said money and card clip system and method can comprise attaching clip 100 to mobile media device 200. In one embodiment, clip 100 can attach to a variety of surfaces for easy access to items contained therein; examples of surfaces can comprise a car dash board, a workspace surface, a desk, a laptop, or luggage. In one embodiment, mobile media device 200 can comprise a mobile phone, a music player, a mobile game console, a device serving several of these purposes, or similar. In one embodiment, mobile media device 200 can comprise an iPhone®, as illustrated in FIG. 2. Mobile media device 200 can comprise a face 201 and a back 202. In one embodiment, face 201 can comprise a set of interface tools, such as a touch screen, microphone or speaker, and a portion of back 202 can comprise a substantially unused portion of mobile media device 200 capable of receiving said clip 100. In one embodiment, each of attaching means 104 can comprise an adhesive strip 203 and a liner 204. In one embodiment, first attaching means 104a can comprise an adhesive strip 203a and a liner 204a. In one embodiment, said adhesive strip 203 can comprise an adhesive tape. In one embodiment, adhesive strip 203 can comprise a double-sided adhesive. In one embodiment, adhesive strip 203 can comprise tape. In one embodiment, adhesive strip 203 can comprise a metal-to-plastic adhesive tape; wherein, a first side of adhesive strip 203 can comprise an adhesive designed for attaching to a metallic surface and a second side of adhesive strip 203 can comprise an adhesive designed for attaching to a plastic surface. In one embodiment, said liner 204 can comprise a poly-coated paper for protecting adhesive strip 203 prior to use. In one embodiment, adhesive strip 203 can comprise a clear polyester film with high strength acrylic adhesive. In one embodiment, said money and card clip system and method can comprise attaching clip 100 to mobile media device 200 with attaching means 104. In one embodiment, attaching clip 100 to mobile media device 200 can comprise activating said attaching means 104, aligning back 105b of clip 100 with back 202, and pressing clip 100 with attaching means 104 against mobile media device 200. In one embodiment, activating said attaching means 104 can comprise removing liner 204 from each of attaching means 104 and exposing adhesive strip 203. In one embodiment, activating attaching means 104 can comprise moistening an adhesive and thereby engaging a bonding property in said adhesive, similar to an adhesive in stamps requiring a moistening step to activate. In another embodiment, attaching means 104 can comprise a glue applied to clip 100 immediately prior to attaching mobile media device 200 to clip 100. In one embodiment, adhesive strip 203 can comprise a strong but removable tape capable of holding said clip 100 to mobile media device 200 but also capable of removal in the case that clip 100 needs to be readjusted or moved to a new mobile media device 200. In one embodiment, mobile media device 200 can comprise an edge portion 205 connecting said face 201 with back 202, and wrapping around a perimeter of mobile media device 200.

FIGS. 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, and 3E illustrate a top, left, front, right and bottom view of clip 100 attached mobile media device 200. Mobile media device 200 can comprise a device width 301 and a device height 302. Clip 100 can comprise a width 303, a height 304, and a depth 305. In one embodiment, mobile media device 200 can comprise a camera 306 integrated into back 202, as shown in FIG. 3C. In one embodiment, clip 100 can attach to mobile media device 200 without covering up camera 306. In one embodiment, width 303 can be less than device width 301. In one embodiment, height 304 can be less than device height 302. In one embodiment, back 202 can comprise a substantially flat surface. In another embodiment, back 202 can comprise a substantially curved surface; wherein, said clip 100 can attach to said back 202 by attaching a plurality of said attaching means 104, thereby securing clip 100 to a plurality of locations along said substantially curved surface. In one embodiment, each of side portions 102 can comprise a three-sided track 307 comprising base 101, edge portions 107, and front portions 108 representing component parts of three-sided tracks 307. In one embodiment, three-sided tracks 307 can comprise a first track 307a and a second track 307b. In one embodiment, first track 307a can align with first side 106c. In one embodiment, second track 307b can align with second side 106d. In one embodiment, edge portions 107 can connect base 101 to front portions 108. In one embodiment, edge portions 107 can attach at first side 106c and second side 106d of base 101. In one embodiment, front portions 108 can extend toward one another. In one embodiment, three-sided tracks 307 open toward one another.

FIGS. 4A, 4B, and 4C illustrate an overview of one or more clip objects 400, and two views of a cross section of side portions 102, respectively. Clip objects 400 can comprise a paper 400a and a card 400b. Paper 400a can comprise paper currency, receipts, paper, or another similar. In one embodiment, paper 400a can wrap around card 400b to form clip objects 400. In one embodiment, paper 400a can be stacked with card 400b to form clip objects 400. In another embodiment, clip objects 400 can comprise a stack of paper 400a folded one or more times. Cards 400b can comprise a credit card, a government identification card, or similar. Side portions 102 can each comprise a first end 401 (aligned with first end 106a) and a second end 402 (aligned with second end 106b). Partial enclosure 109 can comprise a first enclosure width 403a (nearest first end 106a) and a second enclosure width 403b (nearest second end 106b). In one embodiment, first enclosure width 403a can be narrower than second enclosure width 403b. Card 400b can comprise a card height 404. In one embodiment, first enclosure width 403a can be equal to or less than card height 404. In one embodiment, first enclosure width 403a can be narrower than second enclosure width 403b where edge portions 107 are thicker at first enclosure width 403a than at second enclosure width 403b. In one embodiment, said money and card clip system and method can comprise partial enclosure 109 receiving clip objects 400 by inserting one or more clip objects 400 into partial enclosure 109 and holding clip objects 400 in partial enclosure 109. In one embodiment, partial enclosure 109 can receive clip objects 400 by sliding clip objects 400 into partial enclosure 109 at second end 106b, sliding clip objects 400 between side portions 102 at said first side 106c and second side 106d, and blocking clip objects 400 with stop 103 at first end 106a. Further, in another embodiment, partial enclosure 109 can hold clip objects 400 by sliding clip objects 400 between three-sided tracks 307 and wedging clip objects 400 between side portions 102. In one embodiment, said objects can be held in partial enclosure 109 between base 101, stop 103, edge portions 107, and front portions 108.

FIGS. 5A, 5B, 5C, and 5D illustrate a front, side, back and overview of a clip 500. In one embodiment, said money and card clip system and method can comprise clip 500. Clip 500 can comprise a base 501, a front portion 502, and an elbow 503. Front portion 502 can comprise a first end 504a and a second end 504b. Base 501 can comprise a first end 505a and a second end 505b. In one embodiment, front portion 502 can comprise a tip 506 at second end 504b. Base 501 can comprise a front 507a and a back 507b. In one embodiment, clip 500 can comprise partial enclosure 109. In one embodiment, base 501 and front portion 502 can connect by attaching first end 504a to first end 505a with elbow 503. In one embodiment, elbow 503 can comprise a bend in clip 500 between base 501 and front portion 502. In one embodiment, base 501 and front portion 502 can be substantially parallel to one another. In one embodiment, partial enclosure 109 can comprise a space between base 501, front portion 502, and elbow 503. In one embodiment, partial enclosure 109 can be capable of holding an object by a tension between base 501 and front portion 502; wherein, said tension presses and holds said object within clip 500. In one embodiment, clip 500 can comprise said one or more attaching means 104. In one embodiment, attaching means 104 can attach to back 507b of clip 500. In one embodiment, tip 506 can comprise a bend of front portion 502 near second end 505b out and away from base 501. In one embodiment, clip objects 400 slide under tip 506 more easily when inserting clip 500 between base 501 and tip 506. It is asserted and understood that the term “clip” is to be interpreted broadly to include a range of gripping devices that grip or clasp loose things together or that hold things firmly. For example, in one embodiment, clip can comprise clip 100 wherein objects are clasped from their sides between edge portion 107a and edge portion 107b; whereas, in another embodiment, clip can comprise clip 500 wherein objects are clasped between base 501 and tip 506.

FIG. 6 illustrates an overview of clip 500 attaching to mobile media device 200. In one embodiment, clip 500 can attach to mobile media device 200 in a similar manner as does clip 100.

FIGS. 7A and 7B illustrate a left and a front view of clip 500 attached to mobile media device 200.

FIGS. 8A and 8B illustrate an overview of clip objects 400 being inserted into partial enclosure 109 and an overview of clip objects 400 held in partial enclosure 109 within clip 500, respectively. In one embodiment, tip 506 can comprise an outward flare in front portion 502 at second end 504b. In one embodiment, inserting clip objects 400 into partial enclosure 109 can comprise sliding clip objects 400 between base 501 and front portion 502. In one embodiment, tip 506 can comprise an outward flare at second end 504b of front portion 502; wherein, clip objects 400 can more easily slide between front portion 502 and base 501 due to tip 506. In one embodiment, clip 500 is capable of holding said clip objects 400 by applying tension on clip objects 400 on at least two points, such as on one side with base 501 and on the other side with front portion 502.

FIGS. 9A and 9B illustrate two views of clip 900. In one embodiment, said money and card clip system and method can comprise clip 900. Clip 900 can comprise a case 901 and partial enclosure 109. In one embodiment, clip 900 can hold clip objects 400 in partial enclosure 109. In one embodiment, partial enclosure 109 can comprise a space between case 901, side portions 102, and stop 103. In one embodiment, case 901 can comprise a base 902, a rim 903, a lip 904, and one or more apertures 905. In one embodiment, said money and card clip system and method can comprise case 901 receiving mobile media device 200 by inserting mobile media device 200 into case 901 and holding mobile media device 200 in case 901. In one embodiment, apertures 905 can comprise openings in case 901 capable of exposing portions of mobile media device 200 held within case 901. In one embodiment, partial enclosure 109 of clip 900 can comprise a clamping configuration similar to base 501, front portion 502 and elbow 503 of clip 500. In one embodiment, base 902 comprises a back portion of case 901, as shown in FIGS. 9A and 9B. In one embodiment, rim 903 can attach around a perimeter 906 of base 902. In one embodiment, lip 904 can attach around an internal front perimeter 907 of rim 903.

FIGS. 10A, 10B, 10C, and 10D illustrate a left, back, front, and right view of clip 900 with mobile media device 200 inserted therein, respectively. In one embodiment, mobile media device 200 can be held within clip 900 by inserting mobile media device 200 inside of and through lip 904, aligning one or more interface portions of mobile media device 200 with corresponding said apertures 905, and securing mobile media device 200 inside of base 902, rim 903, and lip 904. In one embodiment, securing mobile media device 200 inside of base 902, rim 903 and lip 904 can comprise: holding mobile media device 200 inside of case 901 at back 202 with base 902, at edge portion 205 with rim 903, and at a portion of face 201 with lip 904. In one embodiment, interface portions of mobile media device 200 can comprise camera 306, volume buttons, power plug receivers, and data port receivers. For example, in one embodiment, aligning interface portions of mobile media device 200 with apertures 905 can comprise aligning camera 306 with first aperture 905a.

FIGS. 11A and 11B illustrate an overview of clip 900 with mobile media device 200 and an overview of the same with clip objects 400, respectively. In one embodiment, partial enclosure 109 can receive and hold clip objects 400.

FIG. 12 illustrates an overview of clip 100 attaching to a standard mobile device cover 1200. In one embodiment, clip 100 can be added to standard mobile device cover 1200.

In one embodiment, standard mobile device cover 1200 can comprise one of a plurality of cases manufactured by a wide variety of manufacturers. Accordingly, in one embodiment, said money and card clip system and method can comprise adding clip 100 to standard mobile device cover 1200 purchased separately from clip 100.

FIGS. 13A, 13B and 13C illustrate a front view, overview, and disassembled view of a clip 1300. In one embodiment, clip 1300 can comprise clip 100 further comprising a tongue cut 1301. Tongue cut 1301 can be incorporated into other embodiments such as clip 100 and clip 900. In one embodiment, tongue cut 1301 can comprise a cut in base 101. In one embodiment, tongue cut 1301 can comprise a U-shaped cut in base 101. In one embodiment, said U-shaped cut can comprise a cut in base 101 substantially in the shape of the English letter “U”. In one embodiment, tongue cut 1301 can comprise a 1/16″ cut. In one embodiment, the bottom of the “U” can point toward second end 106b, as illustrated in FIGS. 13A-13C. In one embodiment, a portion of base 101 can comprise a tongue 1302 defined by tongue cut 1301 at its sides. For example, in one embodiment, attaching means 104 can comprise an adhesive applied at the sides of tongue cut 1301.

FIGS. 13D and 13E illustrates clip 1300 with paper 1303 held by tongue 1302, and held by a first tongue 1302a and a second tongue 1302b. In one embodiment, where clip 1300 is attached to mobile media device 200, tongue 1302 can be used to hold clip objects 400, such as a paper 1303. In one embodiment, attaching paper 1303 to clip 1300 can comprise sliding paper 1303 under tongue 1302 and holding paper 1303 under tongue 1302. In one embodiment, tongue 1302 can clip said paper 1303 against mobile media device 200. In one embodiment, paper 1303 can comprise paper currency, which can be folded to fit under tongue 1302. In one embodiment, clip 1300 can comprise an added safety feature by hiding paper 1303 under tongue 1302 by folding said paper 1303 into a configuration with a surface area smaller than that of tongue 1302 and sliding paper 1303 under tongue 1302. In one embodiment, attaching means 104 can be attached to back 105b so that attaching means 104 does not prevent tongue 1302 from bending away from mobile media device 200. Tongue 1302 can comprise a first tongue 1302a and a second tongue 1302b. In one embodiment, attaching paper 1303 to clip 1300 can comprise sliding a first portion of paper 1303 under first tongue 1302a, sliding a second portion of paper 1303 under second tongue 1302b, and holding paper 1303 under first tongue 1302a and second tongue 1302b. In one embodiment, attaching paper 1303 (or clip objects 400) under a plurality of tongues 1302 can provide further security for paper 1303 by opposing accidental release of paper 1303 at a plurality of points. Further, in one embodiment, paper 1303 can be tucked down by attaching paper 1303 with second tongue 1302b in order to provide access for other clip objects 400 to be attached to other portions of clip 1300.

Various changes in the details of the illustrated operational methods are possible without departing from the scope of the following claims. Some embodiments may combine the activities described herein as being separate steps. Similarly, one or more of the described steps may be omitted, depending upon the specific operational environment the method is being implemented in. It is to be understood that the above description is intended to be illustrative, and not restrictive. For example, the above-described embodiments may be used in combination with each other. Many other embodiments will be apparent to those of skill in the art upon reviewing the above description. The scope of the invention should, therefore, be determined with reference to the appended claims, along with the full scope of equivalents to which such claims are entitled. In the appended claims, the terms “including” and “in which” are used as the plain-English equivalents of the respective terms “comprising” and “wherein.”

Claims

1. A clip system comprising:

a clip having a first end, a second end, a first side, a second side, a front, a back, a height, width, and a depth; and,
one or more attaching means; wherein, said clip comprises a partial enclosure, said attaching means is capable of attaching said clip to a mobile media device having a face and a back, and said partial enclosure is capable of receiving one or more clip objects.

2. The clip system of claim 1 further comprising a case; wherein,

said clip attaches to said case with said attaching means, and
said case is capable of partially wrapping around and holding said mobile media device.

3. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said attaching means comprises a double-sided adhesive.

4. The clip system of claim 3 wherein said double-sided adhesive comprises a metal-to-plastic adhesive tape.

5. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said attaching means comprises a case; wherein,

said case comprises a base, a rim, and a lip;
said case comprises said partial enclosure; and
said case is capable of attaching to said mobile media device by inserting said mobile media device through said lip and securing said mobile media device between said base, said rim and said lip.

6. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said clip comprises a plurality of said attaching means capable of attaching said clip to a plurality of locations on said mobile media device.

7. The clip system of claim 1 wherein

said partial enclosure comprises an opening in said clip comprising a portion of a base, one or more side portions, and a stop; and,
said clip comprises said base, said one or more side portions, and said stop; wherein said partial enclosure receives said clip objects by sliding said clip objects into said partial enclosure at said second end of said clip, sliding said clip objects between said side portions at said first side and said second side of said clip, and blocking said clip objects with said stop at said first end of said clip.

8. The clip system of claim 7 wherein

each of said side portions comprise an edge portion and a front portion; and,
said side portions form a three-sided track against said base comprising said base, said edge portion and said front portion; further wherein, said edge portions connect said base to said front portions, said three-sided tracks comprises a first track and a second track, said first track aligns with said first side, said second track aligns with said second side, said front portions extend toward one another, and said three-sided tracks open toward one another.

9. The clip system of claim 8 wherein said partial enclosure holds said clip objects by sliding said clip objects between said three-sided tracks and wedging said clip objects between said side portions; wherein,

said partial enclosure is narrower at a first enclosure width than at a second enclosure width;
said clip objects comprises a card height;
said first enclosure width comprises a width of said partial enclosure at said first end of said base;
said second enclosure width comprises a width of said partial enclosure at said second end of said base; and
said first enclosure width is equal to or less than said card height.

10. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said partial enclosure comprises a space between a base, a front portion and an elbow; wherein

said front portion comprises a first end and a second end,
said base attaches to said front portion with said elbow and said elbow comprises a bend in said clip,
said partial enclosure receives said clip objects by sliding said clip objects between said base and said front portion, and
said partial enclosure holds said clip objects by applying tension on said clip objects by squeezing said clip objects on a first side with said base and on a second side with said front portion.

11. The clip system of claim 10 further comprising a tip at said second end of said front portion of said clip; wherein

said tip comprises a bend in said front portion near said second end out and way from said base; and
said clip objects slides under said tip more easily when inserting said clip objects between said base and said tip.

12. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said attaching means attaches said clip to a standard mobile device cover capable of containing said mobile media device.

13. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said mobile media device comprises a mobile phone.

14. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said mobile media device comprises a music player.

15. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said clip objects comprise a paper.

16. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said clip objects comprise a card.

17. The clip system of claim 1 wherein said clip objects comprise a card and a paper.

18. The clip system of claim 1 further comprising:

one or more tongue cuts in a base of said clip; and
a portion of said base comprises one or more tongues defined by said one or more tongue cuts; wherein said one or more tongues are capable of holding one or more of said clip objects.

19. The clip system of claim 18 wherein said one or more tongue cuts comprise a U-shaped cut in said base.

20. The clip system of claim 18 wherein said clip objects attach to said by

sliding said clip objects under said one or more tongues and
holding said clip objects under said one or more tongues.

21. The clip system of claim 18 wherein said attaching means attach to said back of said clip but does not prevent said one or more tongues from bending away from said mobile media device.

22. A clipping method comprising:

attaching a clip, having a partial enclosure, to a mobile media device with one or more adhesive strips;
inserting one or more clip objects into said partial enclosure; and
holding said clip objects in said partial enclosure.

23. The clipping method of claim 22 wherein each said adhesive strip comprises a double-sided adhesive.

24. The clipping method of claim 23 wherein said double-sided adhesive comprises a metal-to-plastic adhesive tape.

25. The clipping method of claim 22 wherein attaching said clip to said mobile media device further comprises:

activating said adhesive;
aligning said clip with said mobile media device; and
pressing said clip with said one or more adhesive strips against said mobile media device.

26. The clipping method of claim 25 wherein activating said adhesive comprises

removing a liner from each of said adhesive strips and
exposing said adhesive strip.

27. The clipping method of claim 22 further comprising

attaching said clip objects under one or more tongues by sliding said clip objects under said one or more tongues and holding said clip objects under said one or more tongues; wherein,
said one or more tongues are defined by one or more tongue cuts in said clip.

28. The clipping method of claim 27 further comprising hiding said clip objects under said one or more tongues.

29. A clip system comprising a clip comprising a case and a partial enclosure; wherein:

said partial enclosure is capable of receiving one or more clip objects by inserting said clip objects into said partial enclosure and holding said clip objects in partial enclosure; and
said case is capable of receiving a mobile media device by inserting said mobile media device into said case and holding said mobile media device in said case.

30. The clip system of claim 29 wherein inserting and holding said mobile media device into said case comprises:

inserting said mobile media device inside of and through a lip in said case; and
securing said mobile media device inside of a base, a rim, and said lip of said case; wherein said base comprises a back portion of said case, said base is capable of holding a back of said mobile media device, said rim attaches around a perimeter of said base, said rim is capable of holding an edge portion of said mobile media device, said lip attaches around a perimeter of said rim, and said lip is capable of holding a portion of a face of said mobile media device.

31. The clip system of claim 30 further comprising one or more apertures in said case capable of exposing portions of said mobile media device held within said case by

aligning said portions of said mobile media device with said apertures after inserting said mobile media device through said lip and before securing said mobile media device between said base, said rim and said lip.

32. The clip system of claim 29 wherein

said partial enclosure comprises an opening in said clip comprising a portion of a base of said case, one or more side portions, and a stop; wherein, said partial enclosure receives said clip objects by sliding said clip objects into said partial enclosure at a second end of said clip, sliding said clip objects between said side portions at a first side and a second side of said clip, and blocking said clip objects with said stop at a first end of said clip.

33. The clip system of claim 29 wherein:

said clip comprises a base, a front portion having a first end and a second end, and an elbow;
said partial enclosure comprises an opening between said base, said front and said elbow;
said base attaches to said front portion with said elbow and said elbow comprises a bend in said clip;
said partial enclosure receives said clip objects by sliding said clip objects between said base and said front portion;
said partial enclosure holds said clip objects by applying tension on said clip objects; further wherein, said step of applying tension on said clip objects comprises squeezing said clip objects on a first side with said base and on another side with said front portion.
