ELECTRIC STEAM MOP

The present patent relates to an electric steam mop, comprising a shell, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet; a handheld part, which is connected to the shell for handholding; a water tank, which is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet; a steam formation device, which has a water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein the steam outlet is communicated with the steam outlet of the decontamination surface of the shell, and a steam formation cavity is provided between the water inlet and the steam outlet for communicating with the both; a water pump, which is provided between the water tank and the steam formation device, and used to drive the water in the water tank to flow into the steam formation device, and wherein the water pump comprises a reciprocating piston rod; and a synchronous motor, wherein the synchronous motor is connected to the piston rod of the water pump to drive the water pump to actuate. In the present invention, a water pump is driven electrically by a synchronous motor, thus having the advantages of simple structure, convenient operation, and labor-saving.

Description
FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE

The present invention relates to a cleaning tool, in particular to an electric steam mop.

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

Mop is one of the common household cleaning tools, and can be used to clean floors or wall surfaces, even doors or glass windows, etc. When in use, such mop has the disadvantages as follows: the mop needs to be wetted with water, wrung out, then used to wipe the floor; it is difficult for the full-wetted mop to be dewatered; sometime the mop is not sufficiently dewatered, when used again, there will occur the phenomena such as water stains, water drops, etc., on the floor; the mopped floor is too wet to walk immediately, otherwise the wetting floor is more liable to be contaminated. In order to improve the cleaning efficiency, people devise steam mops, which spray steam at the contacting site between the mop and the surface to be cleaned, to wet and heat the surface to be cleaned, thus effectively removing the contaminants on the surface to be cleaned.

SUMMARY

The present invention provides an electric steam mop with a simple structure.

The technical solution of the present invention is an electric steam mop, comprising:

a shell, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, and wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet;

a handheld part, which is connected to the shell for handholding;

a water tank, which is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet;

a steam formation device, which has a water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein the steam outlet is communicated with the steam outlet of the decontamination surface of the shell, a steam formation cavity is provided between the water inlet and the steam outlet for communicating with the both, and additionally a heating device is provided for heating the steam formation cavity;

a water pump, which is provided between the water tank and the steam formation device, and used to drive the water in the water tank to flow into the steam formation device, wherein the water pump comprises a reciprocating piston rod; and

a synchronous motor, which is connected to the piston rod of the water pump to drive the water pump to actuate.

Preferably, the synchronous motor drives a connecting piece to rotate, wherein the axis of the connecting piece is parallel to the axis of the output shaft of the synchronous motor, but not coincident with the same; one end of a connecting rod is connected to the connecting piece, and the other end of the same is connected to the pivot shaft of the piston rod of the water pump.

Preferably, the pivot end of one of the piston rod and the connecting rod is provided with a pivot base; the pivot base is of a [ shape, comprising a lateral plate and two parallel supporting plates; and the two supporting plates are symmetrically provided with a pivot hole.

Preferably, the pivot end of the other one of the piston rod and the connecting rod is placed into a recess enclosed with a lateral plate and two supporting plates in the pivot base, and is connected to the pivot shaft of the pivot base.

Preferably, the water pump also comprises a pump body, a water inlet and a water outlet; and the pump body is a three-way pipe, wherein a water inlet one-way valve is provided between a first pipe of the three-way pipe and the water inlet, a water outlet one-way valve is provided between a second pipe of the three-way pipe and the water outlet pipe, and the piston rod is movably accommodated in a third pipe of the three-way pipe.

Another technical solution of the present invention is an electric steam mop, comprising:

a shell, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet;

a handheld part, which is connected to the shell for handholding;

a water tank, which is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet;

a steam formation device, which has a water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein the steam outlet is communicated with the steam outlet of the decontamination surface of the shell, a steam formation cavity is provided between the water inlet and the steam outlet for communicating with the both, and additionally a heating device is provided for heating the steam formation cavity;

a water pump, which is provided between the water tank and the steam formation device, and used to drive the water in the water tank to flow into the steam formation device, wherein the water pump comprises a reciprocating piston rod; and

a synchronous motor, wherein the synchronous motor drives a cam to rotate; the circumferential surface of the cam is provided with a plurality of recess parts and a plurality of protrusion parts which are interspaced in an uniform distribution way; the cam is movably connected to the piston rod of the water pump; and the piston rod is nestingly provided with a spring.

Preferably, the piston rod comprises a rod body and a shaped cassette which is provided on one end of the rod body, wherein a rolling wheel is provided in the cassette, and the rolling wheel keeps a rolling contact with the outer surface of the cam.

Preferably, the water pump also comprises a pump body, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe; and the pump body is a three-way pipe, wherein a water inlet one-way valve is provided between a first pipe of the three-way pipe and the water inlet pipe, a water outlet one-way valve is provided between a second pipe of the three-way pipe and the water outlet pipe, and the piston rod is movably accommodated in a third pipe of the three-way pipe.

Another technical solution of the present invention is an electric mop, comprising;

a shell, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet;

a handheld part, which is connected to the shell for handholding;

a water tank, which is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet;

a steam formation device, which has a water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein the steam outlet is communicated with the steam outlet of the decontamination surface of the shell, a steam formation cavity is provided between the water inlet and the steam outlet for communicating with the both, and additionally a heating device is provided for heating the steam formation cavity;

a water pump, which is provided between the water tank and the steam formation device, and used to drive the water in the water tank to flow into the steam formation device, wherein the water pump comprises a reciprocating piston rod; and

a synchronous motor, wherein a gear is provided on the output shaft of the synchronic motor; a rack is provided on the free end of the piston rod of the water pump, and the synchronous motor drives the water pump to actuate by the engagement between the gear and the rack.

Preferably, a stop is provided outside the free end of the rack, when the free end of the rack touches the stop, the synchronous motor will reverse.

Preferably, the stop is provided on the housing of the synchronous motor perpendicular to the axis of the piston rod.

Preferably, the rack is of a unilateral tooth shape, and provided integratively with the piston rod.

Preferably, the water pump also comprises a pump body, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe; and the pump body is a three-way pipe, wherein a water inlet one-way valve is provided between a first pipe of the three-way pipe and the water inlet pipe, a water outlet one-way valve is provided between a second pipe of the three-way pipe and the water outlet pipe, and the piston rod is movable accommodated in a third pipe of the three-way pipe.

In the present invention, a synchronous motor is used electrically to drive the water pump, which has the advantages of simple structure, convenient operation, and labor-saving.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DISCLOSURE

The present invention will now be further described in detail by combining the accompanying drawings and the embodiments, all of the accompanying drawings are simplified schematic illustrations, and only schematically describe the basic structures of the present invention, therefore they only show the constructions related to the present invention.

Embodiment 1

As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 7 and 8, an electric steam mop, comprising:

a shell 1, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet 36;

a handheld part 2, which is connected to the shell 1 for handholding;

a water tank 3, which is provided with a water inlet 37 and a water outlet 38;

a steam formation device 4, which has a water inlet 39 and a steam outlet 40, wherein the steam outlet 40 is communicated with the steam outlet of the decontamination surface of the shell 36, a steam formation cavity (not shown in these figures) is provided between the water inlet 39 and the steam outlet 40 for communicating with the both, and the steam formation cavity (not shown in these figures) can be heated electrically by a heating wire provided therein to create steam;

a water pump 5, which is provided between the water tank 3 and the steam formation device 4, and used to drive the water in the water tank 3 to flow into the steam formation device 4, wherein the water pump 5 comprises a reciprocating piston rod 9; and

a synchronous motor 16, wherein the synchronous motor 16 is connected to the piston rod 9 of the water pump 5 to drive the water pump 5 to actuate.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the water pump also comprises a pump body 6, a water inlet pipe 7 and a water outlet pipe 8 which are connected to the pump body 6; and the pump body 6 is a three-way pipe 10, wherein a water inlet one-way valve 14 is provided between a first pipe 11 of the three-way pipe 10 and the water inlet pipe 7, a water outlet one-way valve 15 is provided between a second pipe 12 of the three-way pipe 10 and the water outlet pipe 8, and the piston rod 9 is movably accommodated in a third pipe 13 of the three-way pipe 10.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the synchronous motor 16 drives a connecting piece 21 to rotate; the axis of the connecting piece 21 is parallel to the axis of the output shaft of the synchronous motor 16, but not coincident with the same; one end of a connecting rod 22 is connected to the connecting piece 21, and the other end of the same is connected to the pivot shaft of the piston rod 9 of the water pump 5.

In the present invention, it is preferred that the pivot end of one of the piston rod 9 and the connecting rod 22 is provided with a pivot base 23; the pivot base 23 is of a [ shape, comprising a lateral plate 24 and two parallel supporting plate 25 and 26; and the supporting plates 25 and 26 is symmetrically provided with a pivot hole 27. The pivot end of the other one of the piston rod 9 and the connecting rod 22 is placed into a recess 28 enclosed by a lateral plate 24 and two supporting plates 25 and 26 in the pivot base 23, and is connected to the pivot shaft of the pivot base 23. Of course, the pivot base 23 is not limited to be provided on the piston rod 9, which can also be provided on the connecting rod 22; and the pivot end of the piston rod 9 is inserted the pivot base 23 to achieve the pivot shaft connection.

When in use, the synchronous motor 16 is actuated, the synchronous motor 16 drives the connecting piece 21 to rotate, the connecting piece 21 brings the connecting rod 22 to move reciprocatingly, the connecting rod 22 converts the rotary movement of the connecting piece 21 to a linear reciprocating movement of the piston 9, so as to effectively drive the piston rod 9 to move reciprocatingly, and the water in the water tank 3 is pumped to the steam formation device 4 via a water pump 5 to create steam, thus effectively cleaning the floor.

Embodiment 2

As shown in FIGS. 3, 4, 7 and 8, an electric steam mop, comprising:

a shell 1, which is placed to the surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet 36;

a handheld part 2, which is connected to the shell 1 for handholding;

a water tank 3, which is provided, with a water inlet 37 and a water outlet 38;

a steam formation device 4, which has a water inlet 39 and a steam outlet 40, wherein the steam outlet 40 is communicated with the steam outlet 36 of the decontamination surface of the shell, a steam formation cavity (not shown in these figures) is provided between the water inlet 39 and the steam outlet 40 for communicating with the both, and the steam formation cavity (not shown in these figures) can be heated electrically by a heating wire provided therein to create steam;

a water pump 5, which is provided between the water pump 3 and the steam formation device 4, and used to drive the water in the water tank 3 to flow into the steam formation device 4, wherein the water pump 5 comprises a reciprocating piston rod 9; and

a synchronous motor 16, wherein the synchronous motor 16 drives a cam 29 to rotate; the circumferential surface of the cam 29 is provided with a plurality of recess parts 30 and a plurality of protrusion parts 31 which are interspaced in an uniform distribution way; the cam 29 is movably connected to the piston rod 9 of the water pump 5; and the piston rod 9 is nestingly provided with a spring 32.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the water pump 5 also comprises a pump 6, a water inlet pipe 7 and a water outlet 8 which are connected to the pump body 6; and the pump body 6 is a three-way pipe 10, wherein a water inlet one-way valve 14 is provided between a first pipe 11 of the three-way pipe 10 and the water outlet pipe 7, a water outlet one-way valve 15 is provided between a second pipe 12 of the three-way pipe 10 and the water outlet pipe 8, and the piston rod 9 is movably accommodated in a third pipe 13 of the three-way pipe 10.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the piston rod 9 comprises a rod body 33 and a [ shaped cassette 34 which is provided to one end of the rod body 33, wherein a rolling wheel 35 is provided in the cassette 34, and the rolling wheel 35 keeps in a rolling contact with the outer surface of the cam 29.

When in use, the synchronous motor 16 drives the cam 29 to rotate, when the protrusion part 31 of the cam 29 touches the piston rod 9, the spring 32 is compressed, the piston rod 9 is moved forwards; when the recess part 30 of the cam 29 touches the piston rod 9, the spring is released, the piston rod 9 is moved backwards, so that a reciprocating movement of the piston rod 9 is achieved, and the water in the water tank 3 is pumped to the steam formation device 4 via a water pump 5 to create steam, thus effectively cleaning the floor.

Embodiment 3

As shown in FIGS. 5, 6, 7 and 8, an electric steam mop, comprising:

a shell 1, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet 36;

a handheld part 2, which is connected to the shell 1 for handholding;

a water tank 3, which is provided with a water inlet 37 and a water outlet 38;

a steam formation device 4, which has a water inlet 39 and a steam outlet 40, wherein the steam outlet 40 is communicated with the steam outlet 36 of the decontamination surface of the shell, a steam formation cavity (not shown in theses figures) is provided between the water inlet 39 and the steam outlet 40 for communicating with the both, and the steam formation cavity (not shown in these figures) can be heated electrically by a heating wire provided therein to create steam;

a water pump 5, which is provided between the water tank 3 and the steam formation device 4, and used to drive the water in the water tank 3 to flow into the steam formation device 4, wherein the water pump 5 comprises a reciprocating piston rod 9; and

a synchronous motor 16, wherein a gear 17 is provided on the output shaft of the synchronous motor 16, a rack 18 is provided on the free end of the piston rod 9 of the water pump, and the synchronous motor 16 drives the water pump 5 to actuate by the engagement between the gear 17 and the rack 18.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the water pump 5 also comprises a pump body 6, a water inlet pipe 7 and a water outlet pipe which are connected to the pump body 6; and the pump body 6 is a three-way pipe 10, wherein a water inlet one-way valve 14 is provided between a first pipe 11 of the three-way pipe 10 and the water inlet pipe 7, a water outlet one-way valve 15 is provided between a second pipe 12 of the three-way pipe 10 and the water outlet 8, and the piston rod 9 is movably accommodated in a third pipe 13 of the three-way pipe 10.

In the present invention, it is preferred that a stop 19 is provided outside the free end of the rack 18, when the free end of the rack 18 touches the stop 19, the synchronous motor 16 will reverse. The stop 19 is provided on the housing of the synchronous motor 20 perpendicular to the axis of the piston rod 9. The rack 18 is of a unilateral tooth shape, and provided integratively with the piston 9.

When in use, the synchronous motor 16 is actuated, the synchronous motor 16 drives the gear 17 to rotate, the gear 17 engages and drives rack 18 to move, when the free end of the rack 18 touches the stop 19, the synchronous motor 16 rotates in an opposite direction, the gear 17 engages and drives the rack 18 to move in an opposite direction, the piston rod 9 is moved backwards, the rack 18 is abutted by the stop 19, and the synchronous motor 16 will reverse again, so that a reciprocating movement of the piston rod 9 is achieved, and the water in the water tank 3 is pumped to the steam formation device 4 via a water pump 5 to create steam, thus effectively cleaning the floor.

Under the illumination of the above ideal embodiments of the present invention, through the abovementioned teachings, those skilled in the art can make a variety of modifications and amendments, without departing from the spirit of the invention. The technical range of the present invention is not limited to the contents in the description, which can only be defined by the claims.

Claims

1. An electric steam mop, comprising:

a shell, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, and wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet;
a handheld part, which is connected to the shell for handholding;
a water tank, which is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet;
a steam formation device, which has a water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein the steam outlet is communicated with the steam outlet of the decontamination surface of the shell, and a steam formation cavity is provided between the water inlet and the steam outlet for communicating with the both;
a water pump, which is provided between the water tank and the steam formation device, and used to drive the water in the water tank to flow into the steam formation device, wherein the water pump comprises a reciprocating piston rod;
characterized by also comprising a synchronous motor, wherein the synchronous motor is connected to the piston rod of the water pump to drive the water pump to actuate.

2. An electric steam mop of claim 1, characterized in that the synchronous motor drives a connecting piece to rotate; the axis of the connecting piece is parallel to the axis of the output shaft of the synchronous motor, but not coincident with the same; one end of a connecting rod is connected to the connecting piece, and the other end of the same is connected to a pivot shaft of the piston rod the water pump.

3. An electric steam mop of claim 1, characterized in that the pivot end of one of the piston rod and the connecting rod is provided with a pivot base; the pivot base is of a [ shape, comprising a lateral plate and two parallel supporting plates; and the two supporting plates are symmetrically provided with a pivot pole.

4. An electric steam mop of claim 3, characterized in that the pivot end of the other one of the piston rod and the connecting rod is placed into a recess enclosed by the lateral plate and the two supporting plates in the pivot base, and is connected to the pivot shaft of the pivot base.

5. An electric steam mop of claim 1, characterized in that the water pump also comprises a pump body, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe which are connected to the pump body; and the pump body is a three-way pipe, wherein a water inlet one-way valve is provided between a first pipe of the three-way pipe and the water inlet pipe, a water outlet one-way valve is provided between a second pipe of the three-way pipe and the water outlet pipe, and the piston rod is movably accommodated in a third pipe of the three-way pipe.

6. An electric steam mop, comprising

a shell, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, and wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet;
a handheld part, which is connected to the shell for handholding;
a water tank, which is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet;
a steam formation device, which has a water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein the steam outlet is communicated with the steam outlet of the decontamination surface of the shell, and a steam formation cavity is provided between the water inlet and the steam outlet for communicating with the both;
a water pump, which is provided between the water tank and the steam formation device, and used to drive the water in the water tank to flow into the steam formation device, wherein the water pump comprises a reciprocating piston rod;
characterized by also comprising a synchronous motor, wherein the synchronous motor drives a cam to rotate; the circumferential surface of the cam is provided with a plurality of recess parts and a plurality of protrusion parts which are interspaced in an uniform distribution way; the cam and the piston rod of the water pump are connected movably, and the piston rod is nestingly provided with a spring.

An electric steam mop of claim 6, characterized in that the piston rod comprises a rod body, and a [ shaped cassette which is provided on one end of the rod body, wherein a rolling wheel is provided in the cassette; and the rolling wheel keeps in a rolling contact with the outer surface of the cam.

An electric steam mop of claim 6, characterized in that the water pump also comprises a pump body, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe which are connected to the pump body; and the pump body is a three-way pipe, wherein a water inlet one-way valve is provided between a first pipe of the three-way pipe and the water inlet pipe, a water outlet one-way valve is provided between a second pipe of the three-way pipe and the water outlet pipe, and the piston rod is movably accommodated in a third pipe of the three-way pipe.

9. An electric steam mop, comprising:

a shell, which is placed to a surface to be cleaned, and has a decontamination surface which is faced downwards and opposite to the surface to be cleaned, wherein the decontamination surface has a steam outlet;
a handheld part, which is connected to the shell for handholding;
a water tank, which is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet;
a steam formation device, which has a water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein the steam outlet is communicated with the steam outlet of the decontamination surface of the shell, and a steam formation cavity is provided between the water inlet and the steam outlet for communicating with the both;
a water pump, which is provided between the water tank and the steam formation device, and used to drive the water in the water tank to flow into the steam formation device, wherein the water pump comprises a reciprocating piston rod;
characterized by also comprising a synchronous motor, wherein a gear is provided on the output shaft of the synchronous motor, a rack is provided on the free end of the piston rod of the water pump, and the synchronous motor drives the water pump to actuate by the engagement between the gear and the rack.

10. An electric steam mop of claim 9, characterized in that a stop is provided outside the free end of the rack, when the free end of the rack touches the stop, the synchronous rotor will reverse.

11. An electric steam mop of claim 10, characterized in that the stop is provided on the housing of the synchronous motor perpendicular to the axis of the piston rod.

12. An electric steam mop of claim 10, characterized in that the rack is of a unilateral tooth shape, and provided integratively with the piston rod.

13. An electric steam mop of the claim 9, characterized in that the water pump also comprises a pump body, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe which are connected to the pump body, and the pump body is a three-way pipe, wherein a water inlet one-way valve is provided between a first pipe of the three-way pipe and the water inlet pipe, a water outlet one-way valve is provided between a second pipe of the three-way pipe and the water outlet pipe, and the piston rod is movably accommodated in a third pipe of the three-way pipe.
