Helmet For Leisure Sports

The present invention relates to leisure sports helmets which have a slide joint groove formed in front and a plurality of air vent formed around the circumference. A pair of goggles is inserted into the slide joint groove and slide into the inside of the helmet body. A slide guide is installed in the slide joint groove to support and guide the goggles. A handle is attached to the goggles in a way that is detachable and guides the goggles to slide along the slide joint groove.

FIELD

The present invention relates to helmets for leisure sports, and more particularly a helmet for where protective eyewear is needed that will not separate, and will protect the face with protective eyewear that is spaced from the face so as to prevent the effects of sweating from obscuring the wearers vision

BACKGROUND

In general, these types of helmets are intended to be worn by the user as a means to protect the user's head while using in-line skates, bicycles, scooters, hiking, horseback riding, and a variety of leisure activities. These helmets are intended to be worn by the user for long periods of time during prolonged activity where there is a lot of sweating, and even during the prolonged activity, the helmet should perform well because it is light and breathable.

In addition, unlike motorcycle helmets, many leisure sports helmets are not full face helmets that enclose the head. Rather they have a separate eye protection structure surrounding the eyes.

However, the helmet and the eye protection structure may separate if the user engages in leisure activities of an aggressive nature due to body movements that may occur during those activities. The wearer's sweat may also coat the protective eyewear so as to obscure vision and depending on environmental changes, user may need to put on or remove the protective eyewear quickly.

There is a need for protective eyewear during leisure activities where sweating occurs, for vision correction, for indoor use, and for changes in environment and accordingly, there is may be a need to wear protective eyewear or have it removed.

SUMMARY

FIGS. 1 and 2, illustrate the technology as disclosed in public utility model No. 20-2009-0010786 wherein the protective eyewear has been designed to attach to the helmet. Looking on the bottom of the helmet (1), there is the front curved slot (4) that corresponds to the surface form of the protective eyewear (2) which can be inserted into the slot. The protective glasses have projections formed at both sides of the upper part (3) which are inserted into the binding material of the helmet. The protective eyewear structure allows for removable protective eyewear to be worn separately that does not touch a user's face, glasses, or protective glasses therefore reducing problems with associated with sweating. However, while the conventional helmet protects the structure of the glasses and is removable, in the event of external shocks on the helmet, the protective glasses could be lost. In addition, user may wish to use several different protective eyewear which results in the added the hassle of carrying around storage.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION Structure and Relationship of Parts:

According shown in FIG. 3, there is illustrated the present invention of a leisure sports helmets (10) which includes the helmet body (110), protective eyewear (120), slide guide (130) and handle (140). The helmet body 110 as shown in FIG. 3 includes a plurality of vents (111) which formed along the circumference of helmet body at the bottom along the front from side to side, and inside the helmet along the surface of the slide connector (114). In addition, the helmet body 110, the outer member 112 and the inner member (113) separated by type. The inner member 113 is formed with connector (114). The protective eyewear (120) may be a pair of goggles.

It is primarily the outer portion 112 that absorbs external shocks so that the shock does not pass to the wearer. The inner portion (113) absorbed primarily the secondary shock to the users head so as to minimize the impact.

The slide guide (130) as shown in FIG. 5 is comprised of the frame (131) formed with the stoppers on both ends (132,133), and a helmet body fixed to the slide guide and projections (134).

In addition, the frame (131) in the guide hole (135) has a certain length or depth penetration and the guide hole (135) direction at both sides of the internal length guide groove (136) is formed. The guide groove (136) is located in the front of the stopper (132) has been extended side and is formed penetrating the interior of storage buffer.

In other words, eye protection can vary depending on the user's preference to address a variety of conditions.

As such, sliding protective glasses such as the sunglasses into the body of the helmet acts as a separate space for storage and you do not need to have the glasses directly on your face, sunglasses and sweat that obscure vision and thereby maximizing the user's convenience.

Claims

1. A helmet for leisure sports that is characterized by comprising:

a helmet body which has a slide joint groove formed in the front and multiple air vents formed around the circumference;
protective eyewear which are inserted into the above slide joint groove (114) and slide into the inside of the helmet body;
a slide guide which is installed in the above slide joint groove to support and guide the goggles; and
a handle which is attached to the above goggles in a way that it is detachable and guides the goggles to slide along the slide joint groove.

2. The helmet for leisure sports of claim 1, wherein the helmet body is characterized in that the member of the inner portion into which the goggles are inserted and the member of the outer portion are formed of different materials.

3. The helmet for leisure sports of claim 1, wherein the above goggles are characterized as being comprised of a frame which has a joint hole formed on one end and a shield formed on the other end of the frame.

4. The helmet for leisure sports of claim 3 wherein the shield is characterized as being comprised of sun-glasses or corrective glasses.

5. The helmet for leisure sports of claim 1, wherein the slide guide is characterized by being comprised of a frame (131) which has a guide hole and a guide groove and a stopper formed on the ends of the frame.

6. The helmet for leisure sports of claim 3, wherein the frame is characterized as having a projection and a groove that are designed to correspond to each other.

7. The helmet for leisure sports of claim 3, wherein the handle is characterized as being comprised of a lever and an elastic member which is formed extensively at the bottom of the lever and holds the frame through a joint projection formed at the end which is inserted into the joint hole of the frame.
