CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application Ser. No. 61/775,884, filed on Mar. 11, 2013, entitled Aesthetic Muscle Suit, the prior application is herewith incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to clothing to enhance a user's body. The invention is similar to a bodysuit for men and/or women. People wear such clothing to visually enhance their bodies and how their bodies look or appear.

2. Description of Related Art

Existing garments may have padding in some areas of a garment or merely picture muscles or other body areas on the garment to enhance a person's body or body parts in desirable areas. Other garments have elastic compression such as Spandex® a trademark of Spandex Corporation, but this is not combined with a padding to simulate muscle or other body portions to be enhanced. Further, existing padding is not positioned to be in a proper location or locations and garments for use by men or women do not only compress their body but do not enhance or enlarge specific portions of their bodies. Garments do not combine these features in a hidden undergarment so others will not realize the wearer is wearing such a muscle enhancing body garment.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is a garment to enhance a user's body. People or users wear this garment to visually alter their body appearance with elastic compression and enlargement of desirable areas with padding, filler, or cushioning. The invention is a garment to compress, enhance and shape a person's body. It can be worn as an undergarment or as a garment to be seen to shape the body using compression and padding as well as shadowing on the garment in desirable areas. The garment(s) can be worn as a one piece suit or separately above or below the waist.

The garment can be made of many materials including Spandex®, a trademark of the Spandex Corp., or with other elastic compression materials. Also, natural materials such as cotton or other fabrics, now known or that may be known in the future, that can compress a person's body can be used.

The garment can be any color and may have two dimensional tones. It may have layers in whole or part to hold the padding. It may contain a zipper(s) or other attachment means to ease the downing and removal. It may be reversible with one or more colors. It may be washable or dry cleaned with or without the padding.

The enhanced portions may include any body features or parts including but not limited to body's muscles or breasts or replacements thereof. They may be on a garment in any combination, in pairs or as one. They can be made with silicon or other material(s) which are flexible, suitably soft, and preferably not detectable in appearance or to the touch from, for example, the real muscles or breasts. The padding can be attached to the garment or inner lining by fusion, glue, sewing, placed within a pocket or incorporated within the garment when it is manufactured. The pockets to receive the padding may be open or closed and secured with snaps, hooks, loops, buttons or by sewing. The padding may be of different shapes, thickness, sizes or firmness.

The present invention is an enhanced undergarment body suit to compress, enhance and shape a person's body, the user's body. The present invention is a garment to be worn by the user as an undergarment for a body enhancer, a body shaper and a body compressor. Such garments can be made of many materials, including use of Spandex® or other compression materials, as well as natural materials such as cotton materials, though any materials that can compress a person's body can be used for the present invention.

The present invention is a garment that can be worn as a complete body suit or as an above the waist body suit or below the waist body suite or both. It can be two garments or more, or a single garment.

The garment is an aesthetic muscle suit that compresses the body and enhances the body portions in the areas desired by the wearer. The enhanced portions may include muscles such as biceps, triceps, quads etc. The enhanced portions can be a pocket filled with or made of silicon padding or other suitable materials. The enhanced portion can be made of any filler including but not limited to silicon foam. The compressed portion is shaped or body shaped by the compression action of the garment. The garment may have material with elastics therein to compress the garment around or adjacent the body part. The compressed portion with a padding will be designed to look like a body part such as a muscle, a bicep muscle.

The present invention can be a compression shirt with infused silicon muscles. The compression aspect compresses the body to shape it correctly or as desired and the enhanced portions enlarges the body portions such as abs, shoulders, pectorals, trapezoids, butt and thighs. Because the garment is an undergarment made of desirable body hugging materials, persons wearing the garment are huggable, grabbable and touchable without the person doing the hugging, grabbing, touching realizing that the person being touched is not naturally the way they appear.

The enhanced portions can be sewn into the garment or can be fitted into pockets or closeable pockets in the garment. The garments of the present invention are enhanced at body specific locations with shaped silicon to enhance while the garment is also compressing and shaping the body with the enhanced portions as well.

It is anticipated the garments will come in multiple sizes, including three sizes small, medium and large though additional sizes would be within the scope of the invention. The garments will eliminate the need for implants e.g. breast implants or butt implants. A person can now wear the garment and decide how they want to look each time they get dressed. Each portion of the enhanced portions of the garment can be modified at any time.

Typically the garment of the present invention will be an undergarment worn under another outer garment.

It is accordingly an object of the invention to provide a garment which overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages of the heretofore-known devices and methods of this general type and which provides a garment that exhibits desired body formations and is comfortable.

With the foregoing and other objects in view there is provided, a garment including a padded portion formed of flexible material to conform to a body part and enhance the body part and is part of a garment that compresses the body part as well.

Other features which are considered as characteristic for the invention are set forth in the appended claims.

Although the invention is illustrated and described herein as embodied in a garment, it is nevertheless not intended to be limited to the details shown, since various modifications and structural changes may be made therein without departing from the spirit of the invention and within the scope and range of equivalents of the claims.

The construction and method of operation of the invention, however, together with additional objects and advantages thereof will be best understood from the following description of specific embodiments when read in connection with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A description of the preferred embodiment is set forth herein and in the accompanying drawings.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a body form is shown representing a wearer's body 5 with the front of the garment 10 in FIG. 1 and the back of the garment 10 in FIG. 2. On the body form 5 is the garment 10 of the present invention. Garment 10 is preferably an undergarment made of an elastic stretch material that compresses and shapes the body 5. A preferred material for the garment 10 may be any stretchable material that compresses the body portions when the garment is worn on the body 5. Spandex® is one such garment 10 which compresses around the body of the person wearing the garment 10. Many other types of elastic stretchable materials that compress are available on the market.

The garment can be any article of clothing including a T-shirt, tank top shirt, having neck and arm openings. It can have different body lengths and widths, arm or leg lengths, and be made of different materials. The garment may also be customized for the user.

The garment will be made of a material(s) with elastics therein to compress it around or adjacent a body part and the material will include padding to enhance a muscle or muscle group or a desired area.

Several padded areas and/or pockets can be seen in broken lines in garment 10. These padded areas or pockets are filled with a filler 11. The filler 11 can be of any material but a preferred material is a silicon padding. Since the filler 11 typically, as will be explained, represents a muscle or other part of the body, silicon padding has favorable characteristics such as a desirable firmness that looks and feels like a muscle.

The pockets can be closed such that when the filler is in the pocket it is permanently located there within. Alternatively the pockets can be closeable so that the filler 11 can be removed when desired, e.g. for washing the garment or the filler or for changing the amount of filler 11 to adjust the size of the filler within the pocket. The closure for the pocket can be a button, zipper or hook and loop closure devices. Alternatively the padding filler 11 can be a permanent part of the garment, for example the padding filler 11 can be woven into the garment or a part of the garment. Henceforth, as used herein padding or filler 11 whether or not in a pocket will be used in an interchangeable manner.

At the top of garment 10 are symmetrical opposed padding areas 21 and 22. These padding areas 21 and 22 are filled with padding or filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like for example a body muscle or muscles, here the trapezoids. Similarly symmetrical padded areas 23 and 24 are shaped like and filled with padding filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like the deltoid muscles. Symmetrical pockets 25 and 26 are shaped like and filled with padding filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like the bicep muscles. Symmetrical pockets 27 and 28 are shaped like and filled with padding filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like the pectoral muscles. Symmetrical pockets 29, 30 and 31 are shaped like and filled with padding filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like the abdominal muscles.

In FIG. 2 symmetrical padded areas 31 and 32 are shaped like and filled with padding filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like the triceps muscles. Symmetrical pockets 33 and 34 are shaped like and filled with padding filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like the latissimus muscles. Symmetrical pockets 35 and 36 are shaped like and filled with padding filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like the gluteus muscles. Symmetrical pockets 37 and 38 are shaped like and filled with padding filler 11 that represents or looks and feels like the deltoid muscles.

Each pocket has a pocket opening indicated with a prime for that pocket, e.g. 25′ and 26′, 27′ and 28′, and 33′ and 34′. The filler 40 for each said pocket can be inserted into the pocket through the respective pocket opening for each said pocket (whether or not it can be seen in the drawings). The filler 40 for insertion into a pocket will typically be self contained and of a desired shape. The pad 12 will be made of silicon or other material and may have a lining 41 for easy insertion and removal of the pad 11 from a pocket.

FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view of the body form 5 taken along lines 3-3 from FIG. 1. Where the body 5 of the user is shown with a garment 10 and the silicone padding fillers 35 and 36, shaped to enhance the buttocks, which may be woven into the garment 10. In this view the padding 11 in the shape of pectoral muscles 27 and 28, and the abdominal muscles 29, 30 and 31 can be seen. The garment 10 has an arm hole 6.

FIG. 4. is a cross-sectional view taken along line 4-4 from FIG. 1, showing the padding 35, the garment 10, the shaped muscle 22, and the body 5 in the area of the shoulder.

FIG. 5. is a cross-sectional view showing the padding 35, the garment 10, the shaped muscle 28, and the body 5 in the area of the chest.

Each of the pockets e.g. 21 and 22 would be preferably filled with a silicon padding 35. The thickness of the padding 35 in each of the pockets can be determined at the time the garment 10 is purchased or the pockets can have an opening 21′ and 22′ to accept additional padding 35 such that the user or wearer can adjust the size of the padding and corresponding muscle e.g. bicep muscle padding 26. Alternatively the size, shape and thickness of the filler 11 or padding 35 can be determined by a sizing scheme of the garment 10.

In use, a user would purchase garment 10 with one or more of the pockets or padding areas heretofore described. Additionally the user would purchase padding 35 for each individual pocket if the garment had pockets. At this time the user can decide how much padding is desired to be used in each said pocket.

The garment 10 can be washed, typically removing the silicone padding 35 from the respective padding, prior to laundry or dry-cleaning.

When garment 10 is placed on the user, the garment 10 conforms to the body portions, compressing the body portions in the desired areas and the padding will enhance the desirable areas such as muscles typically that owe all attention likely to the garment 10 of the present invention.

FIG. 6 shows the location of the padded areas 11 on a garment 10 that may be a tank top. In this embodiment, as seen in FIG. 9, the chest muscles 51 and the abdominal muscles 55 appear from this front view well defined and create a view as seen in FIG. 6 of a well built person when garment 10 is worn on a person's body 5 (not shown in FIG. 6), whether or not the person wearing the garment 10 has well defined chest muscles 51 and/or abdominal muscles 55. The garment 10 is made of an elastic material that compresses the garment 10 against the body 5 of the wearer of the garment. As seen in FIG. 8, the padded filler 11 will be sandwiched between two pieces of garment 10, an outside layer 10A and an inside layer 10B. These two layers 10A and 10B may be only in the padded area of the chest muscles 51 and the abdominal muscles 55 to accommodate the filler 11 which may be made for example of silicone and molded in the shape of a preferred chest muscle 51 or abdominal muscle 55. The garment 10 at areas not supporting a muscle group such as the chest or abdominal muscles will be a single layer of material 10 or the two layers 10A and 10B will be attached or fused together as seen at 10C. As seen in FIG. 8, the area underneath breast muscle 51 shown by the material 10B can fit around the actual breast muscle of the user such that the breast muscle 51 of garment 10 will conform to the actual breast muscle of the user. Thus when the garment 10 with elastic material is worn on the user, as shown in FIGS. 8, 7 and 6 will conform tightly against the body of the user 5 and compress the body. Further the garment 10 compresses the body and enhances the body with the enlargement from the padding 11 in the areas of the shaped muscle groups 51 and 55.

Referring to FIG. 9, a garment 10 is shown with different muscle groups each group formed by padding 11. The deltoids group of muscles 61, the triceps 62 and biceps 63. As seen in this FIG. 9 the muscles are shaped by padding 11 and are bonded to the garment 10 and the entire garment 10 has a musculature look. The padding 11 is bonded directly to the garment 10 using adhesives to attach silicone rubber to a fabric or other methods known in the art.

FIG. 11 is a side view of the deltoids group of muscles 61, the triceps 62 and biceps 63 groups shown in FIG. 10.

The present invention is a garment 10 that is worn on a body 5 of a user. The garment 10 surrounds the body portion e.g. the arms, the upper torso, the buttocks or for example the thighs. When the garment 10 is around the body portion then the elasticity compression characteristics of the garment 10 compress the surrounded body portion e.g. the torso as seen in FIG. 1. Urging the garment tightly against the body and compressing the body portion. Additionally the garment 10 has an enhanced portion in the shape of a muscle as well as having compression characteristics to compress the body portions within the elastic portions of the garment 10.

The invention is a body undergarment for use by a wearer such as a body suit covering at least a portion of the body of a person wearing said body suit, having topical pockets located on said body suite, a filler for use inside the pockets, the body suit compresses the body and enhances the body at strategic locations based on the locations of said pockets and said body suit. The pockets are filled with a silicon material and are releasably closable. The filler is in the shape of body muscle.

An article of clothing for wearing on a person's body having a garment made of an elastic material, the elastic material compresses desirable areas of a person's body, the elastic material receiving thereon padding in the shape of muscle groups on the person's body, for attachment to the body in a location conforming to the body muscle, the elastic material and the padding for enhancing the shape of the person's body. Further, the body muscle is a group of chest muscles and abdomen muscles, and the padding is a silicon rubber. The padding is in locations conforming to desired body muscles.

As shown in FIG. 7, additional enhancement to the look of a muscle group 55 can be shading 65 drawn or painted on the garment 10.

In use, the garment 10 when worn by a user 5, such as a tank top type of garment will tightly compress the upper torso of the wearer in the areas that the garment comes in contact with the user's body. The garment compresses the user's upper torso. Additionally the padding in the shape of muscles and muscle groups will protrude from the garment 10 making it appear that the user is wearing a garment 10 with bulging muscles hidden under the garment 10 pressing outward against the inner side of the garment 10 as shown at least in the cross sectional view in FIG. 8 and the frontal view in FIG. 6. The tight fitting garment 10 is compress against the body of the user and against the padded areas in the shape of muscles, which pushes the padded areas against or toward the underlying skin of the user.

The silicone referenced herein as a filler can be an elastomer (rubber-like material) composed of silicone—itself a polymer—containing silicon together with carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Silicone rubbers as known in the art and a material of choice in this use are widely used in industry, and there are multiple formulations. Silicone rubbers are often one- or two-part polymers, and may contain fillers to improve properties or reduce cost. The silicone rubber is generally non-reactive, stable, and resistant to extreme environments and temperatures from −55° C. to +300° C. while still maintaining its useful properties.

While the invention has been described in its preferred form or embodiment with some degree of particularity, it is understood that this description has been given only by way of example and that numerous changes in the details of construction, sizes, fabrication, and use, including the combination and arrangement of parts, may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
