BEDSTEAD WITH ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT

A bedstead with adjustable height has a base, a passive frame and a connecting frame. The base connects with the passive frame through the lifting element, so that the height of the passive frame can be adjusted through the lifting element. Also, the passive frame moves linearly through the restriction rod along the rail rod to increase the preciseness and stableness of the movement of the lifting element. The connecting frame is disposed between the base and the passive frame, wherein the connecting frame has two corresponding connecting rods and driving rods to form a supporting frame, so the passive frame and the base are balanced with each other through the connecting frame to increase the strength between the passive frame and the base and evenly distribute the pressure on the surface of the passive frame to prevent unsmooth adjustment of the passive frame due to single-sided pressure.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a bedstead, and more particularly to a bedstead with adjustable height.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Conventional bedsteads such as those for medical usages have a connecting rod and a supporting rod to form a frame base, and a mattress is disposed thereabove to form a bedstead structure, so the height of the conventional bedstead structure is restricted and cannot be adjusted. This is actually a drawback that adversely affects the practicability of the bedstead. Thus, there remains a need for a new and improved bedstead with adjustable height to overcome the problem stated above.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The technical problem the present invention wants to solve is that conventional bedsteads such as those for medical usages have a connecting rod and a supporting rod to form a frame base, and a mattress is disposed thereabove to form a bedstead structure, so the height of the conventional bedstead structure is restricted and cannot be adjusted. This is actually a drawback that adversely affects the practicability of the bedstead.

The present invention provides a bedstead with adjustable height includes a base, a passive frame and a connecting frame. A plurality of supporting rods extending upwards are disposed at periphery of the base, and outer portion of each supporting rod has a rail rod, and a lifting element is located at center of the base. Periphery of the passive frame is slightly bigger than base, and a frame rod has a restriction rod corresponding to the rail rod of the base, and a mattress is disposed on top of the passive frame. The connecting frame has two corresponding connecting rods, each of which has a second connecting rod at its end to form an H-shaped rod body. One end of the second connecting rod connects with the periphery of the passive frame, and the other end pivotally connects with the base with a conjugating rod, so that two connecting rods of the connecting frame are disposed and connected between the base and the passive frame. Furthermore, a driving rod is disposed between two connecting rods, so the connecting rods at least have two corresponding pivotal connecting portions for the driving rods and the two connecting rods of the passive frame can be driven simultaneously through the driving rod.

Comparing with the prior arts, the present invention is advantageous because (i) the base connects with the passive frame through the lifting element, so that the height of the passive frame can be adjusted through the lifting element. Also, the passive frame moves linearly through the restriction rod along the rail rod to increase the preciseness and stableness of the movement of the lifting element; and (ii) the connecting frame is disposed between the base and the passive frame, wherein the connecting frame has two corresponding connecting rods and driving rods to form a supporting frame, so the passive frame and the base are balanced with each other through the connecting frame to increase the strength between the passive frame and the base and evenly distribute the pressure on the surface of the passive frame to prevent unsmooth adjustment of the passive frame due to single-sided pressure.

In order to further understand the goal, characteristics and effect of the present invention, a number of embodiments along with the drawings are illustrated as following:

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a bedstead with adjustable height includes a base (10), a passive frame (20) and a connecting frame (30). A plurality of supporting rods (11) extending upwards is disposed at periphery of the base (10), and outer portion of each supporting rod (11) has a rail rod (111), and a lifting element (12) is located at center of the base. Periphery of the passive frame (20) is slightly bigger than base (10), and a frame rod (21) has a restriction rod (211) corresponding to the rail rod (111) of the base (10), and a mattress (22) is disposed on top of the passive frame (20). The connecting frame (30) has two corresponding connecting rods (31), each of which has a second connecting rod (311) at its end to form an H-shaped rod body. One end of the second connecting rod (311) connects with the periphery of the passive frame (20), and the other end pivotally connects with the base (10) with a conjugating rod (32), so that two connecting rods (31) of the connecting frame (30) are disposed and connected between the base (10) and the passive frame (20). Furthermore, a driving rod (33) is disposed between two connecting rods (31), so the connecting rods (31) at least have two corresponding pivotal connecting portions (312) for the driving rods (33) and the two connecting rods (31) of the passive frame (30) can be driven simultaneously through the driving rod (33).

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3 for the structure of the present invention, the passive frame (20) covers outside the base (10) from top to bottom, and the restriction rod (211) of the frame rod (21) engages with the rail rod (111) of the supporting rod (11). Furthermore, the lifting element (12) connects with the passive frame (20), so that the passive frame (20) can move up and down on the base (10) through the lifting element (12), and can move linearly through the restriction rod (211) along the rail rod (111). The connecting frame (30) is disposed between the base (10) and the passive frame (20), wherein the connecting frame (30) has two corresponding connecting rods (31) disposed at both sides of the base (10) and the passive frame (20), and one end of the second connecting rod (311) of the connecting frame (30) pivotally connects with the passive frame (20). The other end of the second connecting rod (311) has the conjugating rod (32) to connect with the base (10), so that two connecting rods (31) of the connecting frame (30) can be disposed and connected between the base (10) and the passive frame (20). Furthermore, the pivotal connecting portions (312) provides two driving rods (33) to pivotally connect two connecting rods (31) to obtain the structure of the bedstead with adjustable height.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5 for practical use of the present invention, the passive frame (20) covers outside the base (10) from top to bottom, and the restriction rod (211) of the frame rod (21) engages with the rail rod (111) of the supporting rod (11). Also, the base (10) connects with the passive frame (20) through the lifting element (12), so that when the user wants to adjust the height of the passive frame (20), the lifting element (12) can be triggered to drive the passive frame (20) to move up and down. Also, the passive frame (20) moves linearly through the restriction rod (211) along the rail rod (111) to increase the preciseness of the adjustment. Furthermore, the connecting frame (30) is disposed between the base (10) and the passive frame (20), wherein the connecting frame (30) has two corresponding connecting rods (31) and driving rods (33) to form a supporting frame, and the second connecting rod (311) and the conjugating rod (32) are connected between the base (10) and the passive frame (20), so when the passive frame (20) is adjusted through the lifting element (12), the connecting frame (30) can be simultaneously driven through the second connecting rod (311) and the conjugating rod (32). Also, the passive frame (20) and the base (10) are balanced with each other through the connecting frame (30) to increase the strength between the passive frame (20) and the base (10) and evenly distribute the pressure on the surface of the passive frame (20) to prevent unsmooth adjustment of the passive frame (20) due to single-sided pressure.

According to the embodiments described above, the present invention is advantageous because (i) the base (10) connects with the passive frame (20) through the lifting element (12), so that the height of the passive frame (20) can be adjusted through the lifting element (12). Also, the passive frame (20) moves linearly through the restriction rod (211) along the rail rod (111) to increase the preciseness and stableness of the movement of the lifting element (12); and (ii) the connecting frame (30) is disposed between the base (10) and the passive frame (20), wherein the connecting frame (30) has two corresponding connecting rods (31) and driving rods (33) to form a supporting frame, so the passive frame (20) and the base (10) are balanced with each other through the connecting frame (30) to increase the strength between the passive frame (20) and the base (10) and evenly distribute the pressure on the surface of the passive frame (20) to prevent unsmooth adjustment of the passive frame (20) due to single-sided pressure.

Having described the invention by the description and illustrations above, it should be understood that these are exemplary of the invention and are not to be considered as limiting. Accordingly, the invention is not to be considered as limited by the foregoing description, but includes any equivalents.
