TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLE ELEMENT HAVING SERRATED OUTER STRUCTURE
A toothbrush includes a handle having a bristle head on one end, and a number of bristle elements each having a lower end portion attached to the bristle head, and each having an upper end portion located distal to the bristle head, and the bristle elements each include a number of scraping protrusions extended radially and outwardly from an outer peripheral portion, and the scraping protrusions each include a triangular shape having a sharp outer end for allowing the scraping protrusions of the bristle element to form a star-shape configuration and for frictionally engaging with the teeth of the user and for increasing or facilitating the tooth brushing effect.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional toothbrush bristle elements.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe primary objective of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush including a number of bristle elements each having a serrated outer appearance or cross section for frictionally engaging with the teeth of the user and for increasing or facilitating the tooth brushing effect.
In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a toothbrush comprising a handle including a bristle head provided on one end portion of the handle, and the bristle head including an upper portion, and a number of bristle elements each including a longitudinal structure having a lower end portion attached to the upper portion of the bristle head, and having an upper end portion located distal to and spaced from the upper portion of the bristle head, and the bristle elements each including a number of scraping protrusions extended radially and outwardly from an outer peripheral portion of the bristle element, and the scraping protrusions each including a triangular shape having a sharp outer end for allowing the scraping protrusions of the bristle element to form a star-shape configuration and for frictionally engaging with the teeth of the user and for increasing or facilitating the tooth brushing effect.
The scraping protrusions of the bristle element are preferably equally spaced from each other for forming a uniform star-shape configuration for effectively brushing or cleaning the outer peripheral surfaces of the teeth of the user.
The bristle elements are made or manufactured with soft or resilient elements or materials, such as Nylon, rubber or plastic materials or the like for allowing the working life of the bristle elements to be suitably increased.
Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to the drawings, and initially to
For example, the bristle elements 30 each include a longitudinal structure or configuration having a lower or one or first end portion 31 disposed or attached or mounted or secured or engaged with or into the upper portion 12 of the bristle head 11, and having an upper or another or second end portion 32 located distal to or spaced from the upper portion 12 of the bristle head 11. The bristle elements 30 may be made or manufactured with soft or resilient elements or materials, such as Nylon, rubber or plastic materials or the like for allowing the working life of the bristle elements 30 to be suitably increased.
