ARRANGEMENT FOR A TWO-TRACK ROLLER SKATE

A roller skate includes a shoe having a sole, an elongate rail, a first fastening opening extending through the rail, a second fastening opening extending through the sole, and a fastening device. The fastening device includes a connecting bolt guided through the fastening openings for fastening the shoe to the rail. At least one of the fastening openings is a slot.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to roller skates, and more particularly to an arrangement for a two-track roller skate which has a shoe, a rail of elongate form, and at least one fastening device for fastening the rail and the shoe.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Two-track roller skates are known in a variety of embodiments. They have a shoe which can be fastened to a rail. To the rail there are fastened axle receptacles (so-called “trucks”) which support axles on which rollers are rotatably mounted.

The shoe of a two-track roller skate is normally fastened to the rail of the roller skate by way of fastening devices in the form of screw connections or rivet connections. For this purpose, fastening openings are drilled into the sole of the shoe in a heel region and in a foot ball region of the sole by specialists. To fasten the shoe to the rail, a connecting bolt in the form of a shank of a screw or of a rivet of a screw connection or of a rivet connection respectively is guided through a fastening opening of said type. Also formed on the rail are corresponding circular fastening openings which are arranged on widened support portions, formed in the heel region and in the foot ball region, of the rail. In general, two or four fastening openings of said type are formed on each support portion.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The invention provides, in one aspect, an individually adaptable two-track roller skate which is simple and inexpensive to produce.

The invention provides, in another aspect, a roller skate including a shoe having a sole, an elongate rail, a first fastening opening extending through the rail, a second fastening opening extending through the sole, and a fastening device. The fastening device includes a connecting bolt guided through the fastening openings for fastening the shoe to the rail. At least one of the fastening openings is a slot.

The invention provides, in another aspect, an arrangement of the type specified in the introduction, in which, according to the invention, in each case at least one fastening opening is arranged on the rail and on the sole of the shoe, wherein the connecting bolt is guided through the fastening openings for the purpose of fastening the shoe to the rail, and wherein the fastening opening on the rail and/or on the sole is in the form of a slot.

A two-track roller skate equipped with an arrangement according to the invention can be mounted using a single fastening device. There is no need, as in the prior art, for four or even more fastening devices in the form of screw connections or rivet connections. This simplifies the production of a two-track roller skate and is associated with a reduction in the associated production costs. If only one fastening device is provided, a twist prevention means may be arranged between the shoe and the rail in order to prevent the shoe from moving relative to the rail.

By virtue of the fact that the fastening opening on the rail and/or on the sole is in the form of a slot, the shoe can be displaced relative to the rail to a predefinable extent when the fastening device is not yet fully fixed. In this way, a user of the arrangement or of a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate can individually adapt the orientation of the shoe relative to the rail to the respective requirements in a simple manner.

Since at least one fastening opening is arranged in the sole of the shoe already by the manufacturer, a user of the arrangement or of a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate can fasten the shoe to the rail themselves in a simple manner, such that the user need not seek the aid of specialists, in particular because the drilling of fastening openings into the sole of the shoe by specialists is no longer necessary. In this way, for example, retailers who have specialized in online retailing no longer run the risk of incorrectly positioning the bores for forming fastening openings and of mounting the shoes incorrectly for the respective customers. Consequently, with the arrangement according to the invention, the level of complaints can be considerably reduced.

In the context of the invention, the arrangement may also have two or more fastening devices which are configured correspondingly to the fastening device described above and which serve for fastening the shoe to the rail.

Within the context of the invention, a two-track roller skate may also be a two-track roller skate with twin-tire or multiple-tire configuration.

In one advantageous refinement, the slot extends at least partially in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the rail and/or of the sole. In this way, the shoe can be arranged in different positions relative to the rail with respect to the longitudinal extent of the rail. For this purpose, the slot may be arranged parallel to the longitudinal extent of the rail and/or of the shoe or, to a predefinable extent, transversely to said longitudinal extent. If in each case one slot is arranged both on the sole and also on the rail, one of said slots may be arranged transversely, in particular perpendicular, with respect to the longitudinal extent of the sole and/or of the rail, and the other slot may be arranged parallel to the longitudinal extent of the rail and/or of the sole. Here, the two slots are arranged transversely, in particular perpendicular, with respect to one another. In this way, the position of the shoe relative to the rail is adjustable in a plane.

In a further advantageous refinement, the fastening device is arranged in a heel region or in a foot ball region of the rail and/or of the sole. Alternatively, the fastening device may also be arranged in a different region of the sole, for example in a central region. The arrangement of the fastening device in the foot ball region or in the heel region is advantageous because the highest forces normally act at these locations during the use of a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate, such that a secure connection between the shoe and rail must be ensured there. By means of an arrangement of the fastening device in the heel region or in the foot ball region of the sole, it is thus possible to produce a two-track roller skate of highly robust design.

A further advantageous refinement provides that the fastening device is arranged centrally in the heel region and/or in the foot ball region. Alternatively, the fastening device may be arranged eccentrically in the heel region and/or in the foot ball region.

In a further advantageous refinement, the fastening device has two bearing parts which are or can be connected to the ends of the connecting bolt, wherein, when the fastening device is fixed, one bearing part is supported on the top side, which faces away from the rail, of the sole, wherein the arrangement has a cover unit which can be arranged on the top side of the sole, and on the underside, which faces toward the sole, of the cover unit there is formed at least one receptacle in which, when the fastening device is fixed, the bearing part which is supported on the top side of the sole is entirely arranged. By means of the arrangement of the cover unit, a situation is prevented in which the bearing part supported on the top side of the sole is perceived as uncomfortable by a user of a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate when wearing the two-track roller skate. By means of the cover unit, which may be configured for example as a cushioning in the form of an inlay sole, pressure points on the foot of a user can be avoided, and the wearing comfort associated with a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate can be improved.

In a further advantageous embodiment, the fastening device has two bearing parts which are or can be connected to the ends of the connecting bolt, wherein, on the top side, which faces away from the rail, of the sole there is formed at least one depression, on the base of which is arranged the fastening opening which runs through the sole, wherein a bearing part which, when the fastening device is fixed, is supported on the top side of the sole is arranged, when the fastening device is fixed, entirely within the depression. Said refinement may be provided as an alternative to the refinement mentioned immediately above.

In a further advantageous refinement, the arrangement has at least one cover by way of which the depression can be covered from the direction of the inside of the shoe. In this way, a situation is prevented in which the bearing part, which is arranged in the depression, of the fastening device is perceived as uncomfortable by a user of a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate when wearing the two-track roller skate. By means of the cover, which forms for example a cushioning, pressure points on the foot of a user can be avoided, and the wearing comfort associated with a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate can be improved.

It is furthermore considered to be advantageous for the fastening device to have at least one washer which can be arranged entirely in the recess and/or in the depression such that the washer at least partially surrounds the fastening opening formed on the sole. Through the use of the washer, the forces acting on the bearing part, which is supported on the washer, during the use of a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate can be distributed over a larger area, such that, in particular, a situation is prevented in which the sole tears in the region of the fastening opening and thus the shoe becomes detached from the rail. The same effect may be attained for example if the washer is omitted and the bearing part which is arranged in the depression when the fastening device is fixed is dimensioned to be correspondingly large.

In a further advantageous refinement, the fastening device is in the form of a screw connection or a quick-action clamping device. If the fastening device is in the form of a screw connection with a screw and a nut, one bearing part is formed as the head of the screw, and the other bearing part is formed as a nut, whereas the connecting bolt is formed as a shank of the screw. The nut of the screw connection may be arranged on the sole of the shoe or on the rail. That is to say, when the fastening device is fixed, the nut may be supported on the sole of the shoe or on the rail. Correspondingly, the head of the screw may be arranged on the rail or on the sole of the shoe. The screw may be formed from metal. The head of the screw may be provided with a slot or a crossed slot. Alternatively, the head of the screw may have a hexagonal driving profile or a Torx® driving profile. If the fastening device is in the form of a quick-action clamping device, one bearing part may have a preferably pivotably mounted actuating means by way of which the quick-action clamping device can be released and fixed in a simple manner.

In a further advantageous embodiment, the arrangement has at least two corresponding fastening devices, wherein one of the fastening devices is arranged centrally in the heel region of the shoe and of the rail, and the other fastening device is arranged centrally in the foot ball region of the shoe and of the rail. The statement that the fastening devices are corresponding fastening devices is intended to express that each of the fastening devices is formed in accordance with one of the above-mentioned refinements or any desired combination thereof. The fastening devices may alternatively be arranged, offset eccentrically to one side of the roller skate, in the heel region and/or in the foot ball region. Furthermore, the fastening devices may alternatively be arranged outside the heel region and the foot ball region. The arrangement may also have three or more fastening devices.

In a further advantageous refinement, the fastening devices are arranged one behind the other with respect to the longitudinal extent of the shoe and/or of the rail. The fastening devices may alternatively be arranged offset with respect to one another.

It is also proposed that the rail have a length selected from a range from approximately 150 millimeters to approximately 320 millimeters. Relatively short rails may be used for example for the formation of ladies' roller skates or children's roller skates, whereas men's roller skates may be produced using relatively long rails.

In a further advantageous refinement, the rail is designed such that axles which can be arranged thereon by way of axle receptacles and on which rollers can be mounted in a rotatable manner have a spacing from one another selected from a range from approximately 70 millimeters to approximately 220 millimeters.

The spacing between the axles is preferably measured as the spacing between the longitudinal axes of the axles. Relatively small spacings between the axles may be used for example for the formation of ladies' roller skates or children's roller skates, whereas men's roller skates may be produced using relatively large spacings between the axles.

A further advantageous refinement provides that the rail is designed such that rollers can be arranged thereon by way of axle receptacles and axles, the diameter of which rollers is selected from a range from approximately 40 millimeters to approximately 80 millimeters. The respectively desired diameter of the rollers of a two-track roller skate may be taken into consideration by the manufacturer during the selection or production of the respective rail in order to be able to adapt the characteristics of a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate optimally to the respective application.

It is advantageously provided that, on the underside, which faces away from the shoe, of the rail, there are arranged two fastening means on which in each case one axle receptacle can be arranged such that the axle receptacles arranged on the rail enclose in each case an angle with the support surface, which faces toward the shoe, of the rail, said angle being selected from a range from approximately 10° to approximately 45°. Through the respective selection of the angles, which may also differ from one another within the stated range, the physical characteristics of the arrangement or of a correspondingly equipped two-track roller skate can be adapted optimally to the respective application.

It is furthermore considered to be advantageous for the rail to be formed at least partially from metal, in particular aluminum, magnesium, titanium or steel, from plastic, from a fiber-reinforced plastic, from carbon, from fiberglass or from a material mixture of carbon and fiberglass. The selection of the respective material for the production of the rail is made preferably taking into consideration the respective technical requirements on the rail. In a further advantageous embodiment, the surface of the rail is at least partially tin-plated, zinc-plated, copper-plated, nickel-plated, lacquered, enameled, anodized, powder-coated or plastic-coated. In this way, the surface of the rail can be improved so as to make the rail more resistant to external influences and/or to provide the rail with a desired appearance.

It is also proposed that the sole be formed at least partially from leather, synthetic leather, rubber, plastic, a fiber-reinforced plastic, carbon, fiberglass or a material mixture of carbon and fiberglass. The selection of the respective material for the production of the sole is preferably made taking into consideration the respective technical requirements on the sole. Also possible is the arrangement of inserts into a shoe formed from leather, both in the sole and also in the upper part of the shoe connected to the sole, in order to stiffen the sole and the upper part of the shoe respectively. The inserts may be formed from plastic, metal, carbon, fiberglass or a material mixture of carbon and fiberglass.

The above object is furthermore achieved by means of a two-track roller skate which, according to the invention, has an arrangement according to one of the above-mentioned refinements or any desired combination thereof. This is associated with the advantages mentioned above with regard to the arrangement.

The two-track roller skate may for example be in the form of a quad skate or roller derby skate.

The rail of the arrangement may basically also be designed such that either a shoe according to the invention or a conventional shoe can be arranged thereon. For this purpose, widened support portions on which fastening openings of the conventional type are formed may be provided on the rail, for example in the front foot region and in the heel region.

Before any embodiments of the invention are explained in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of construction and the arrangement of components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the following drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced or of being carried out in various ways. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology used herein is for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

FIG. 1 is a schematic and perspective exploded illustration of an exemplary embodiment of an arrangement 1 according to the invention for a two-track roller skate. The arrangement 1 comprises a shoe, of which only a sole 2 and a cover 3 are shown, a rail 4 of elongate form, and two fastening devices with in each case one connecting bolt 5, wherein the fastening devices are in the form of screw connections.

The shoe can be fastened to the rail 4 by way of the fastening devices. For this purpose, in each case two fastening openings 6 and 7 are arranged on the rail 4 and on the sole 2 of the shoe respectively, wherein the connecting bolts 5 are guided through the fastening openings 6 and 7 for the purpose of fastening the shoe to the rail 4. The fastening openings 7 on the rail 4 are in the form of slots which extend in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the rail 4 and/or of the sole 2. One fastening device is arranged centrally in a heel region and the other fastening device is arranged centrally in a foot ball region of the rail 4 and the sole 2, respectively. The fastening devices are arranged one behind the other with respect to the longitudinal extent of the shoe and/or of the rail 4.

The rail 4 has a length selected from a range from approximately 150 millimeters to approximately 320 millimeters. The rail 4 is designed such that axle receptacles 19 shown in FIG. 7 can be arranged thereon such that axles 21 arranged on the axle receptacles 19, which axles are shown in FIG. 7 and on which axles rollers 20 shown in FIG. 7 are rotatably mountable, have a spacing from one another selected from a range from approximately 70 millimeters to approximately 220 millimeters. The rail 4 is furthermore designed such that rollers 20 can be arranged thereon by way of the axle receptacles 19 and the axles 21, the diameter of which rollers is selected from a range from approximately 40 millimeters to approximately 80 millimeters. On the underside, which faces away from the shoe, of the rail 4, there are arranged two fastening means 8 on which in each case one axle receptacle 19 can be arranged such that the axle receptacles 19 arranged on the rail 4 enclose in each case an angle 30 with a support surface 31 of the rail 4, which faces toward the shoe, said angle 30 being selected from a range from approximately 10° to approximately 45°. The rail 4 has, in the heel region and in the foot ball region, support portions 22 which form widened support surfaces and on which fastening openings 23 for the fastening of a conventional shoe to the rail 4 are formed.

Each fastening device has a bearing part 9 formed as a screw head and a bearing part 10 formed as a nut, wherein the bearing parts 9 and 10 are or can be connected to the ends of the connecting bolts 5. On the top side, which faces away from the rail 4, of the sole 2, there are formed two depressions 11, on the bases 12 of which are arranged the fastening openings 6 which run through the sole 2. The bearing parts 9 which, when the fastening device is fixed, are supported on the top side of the sole 2 or on the top sides of the bases 12 are arranged, when the fastening devices are fixed, entirely within the depressions 11. Each fastening device has a washer 13 which can be arranged entirely in the respective depression 11 such that the washer 13 surrounds the fastening opening 6 respectively formed on the sole 2. The depressions 11 can be covered from the direction of the inside of the shoe by the cover 3.

FIG. 2 is a schematic and perspective exploded illustration of a further exemplary embodiment of an arrangement 1 according to the invention for a two-track roller skate (not shown). Said embodiment differs from the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1 in that the fastening openings 6 arranged on the sole 2 extend transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent of the rail 4 and/or of the sole 2.

FIG. 3 is a schematic and perspective exploded illustration of a further exemplary embodiment of an arrangement 1 according to the invention for a two-track roller skate (not shown). Said embodiment differs from the exemplary embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in particular in that the screws formed by in each case one connecting bolt 5 and the bearing part 9 are guided through the fastening openings 7 and 6 from below, that is to say the bearing parts 9 interact with the rail 4 rather than with the sole 2, whereas the other bearing parts 10 interact with the sole 2 rather than with the rail 4. A further difference consists in that the depressions 11 are of square rather than circular form. Furthermore, the washers 13 are provided with angled portions 15, whereby guide housings for the bearing parts 10 are formed. On each washer 13 there is formed an opening 14 through which there extends in each case one portion of a bearing part 10, or, when the fastening devices are fixed, one portion of a connecting bolt. Said openings 14 are, like the fastening openings 6, in the form of slots which extend, in the arrangement shown, transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent of the sole 2 and/or of the rail 4.

FIG. 4 is a schematic and perspective exploded illustration of a further exemplary embodiment of an arrangement 1 according to the invention for a two-track roller skate (not shown). Said embodiment differs from the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1 in particular in that no depressions 11 are formed on the top side, which faces away from the rail 4, of the sole 2. The arrangement 1 furthermore comprises, instead of a cover 3, a cover unit 16 which can be arranged on the top side of the sole 2 and on whose underside, which faces toward the sole 2, there are formed two circular receptacles 17 in which, when the fastening device is fixed, in each case one bearing part 9, which is supported on the top side of the sole 2, and one washer 13 are entirely arranged.

FIG. 5 is a schematic and perspective exploded illustration of a further exemplary embodiment of an arrangement 1 according to the invention for a two-track roller skate (not shown). Said embodiment differs from the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 2 in particular in that no depressions 11 are formed on the top side, which faces away from the rail 4, of the sole 2. The arrangement 1 furthermore comprises, instead of a cover 3, a cover unit 16 which can be arranged on the top side of the sole 2 and on whose underside, which faces away from the sole 2, there are formed two circular receptacles 17 in which, when the fastening device is fixed, in each case one bearing part 9, which is supported on the top side of the sole 2, and one washer 13 are entirely arranged.

FIG. 6 is a schematic and perspective exploded illustration of a further exemplary embodiment of an arrangement 1 according to the invention for a two-track roller skate (not shown). Said embodiment differs from the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3 in particular in that no depressions 11 are formed on the top side, which faces away from the rail 4, of the sole 2. The arrangement 1 furthermore comprises, instead of the cover 3, a cover unit 16 which can be arranged on the top side of the sole 2 and on whose underside, which faces toward the sole 2, there are formed two square receptacles 17 in which, when the fastening device is fixed, in each case one bearing part 9, which is supported on the top side of the sole 2, and one washer 13 are entirely arranged.

FIG. 7 is a schematic and perspective illustration of an exemplary embodiment of a two-track roller skate 18. The two-track roller skate 18 comprises a shoe, of which only the sole 2 is illustrated, a rail 4 of elongate form, axle receptacles 19 which are fastened to the rail 4 by way of fastening means 8, and rollers 20 arranged on the axle receptacles 19. For this purpose, axles 21 are arranged on the axle receptacles 19, on which axles the rollers 20 are rotatably mounted. Furthermore, the two-track roller skate 18 comprises two fastening devices, arranged one behind the other with respect to the longitudinal extent of the shoe and/or of the rail 4, in the form of screw connections which have in each case a connecting bolt 5, a washer 13, a bearing part 9 in the form of a screw head, and a bearing part 10 in the form of a nut. The fastening devices are arranged centrally in the heel region and in the foot ball region respectively of the rail 4 and of the sole 2. The shoe can be fastened to the rail 4 by way of the fastening devices. The shoe, the rail 4 and the fastening devices form an arrangement 1 according to the invention.

In each case two fastening openings 6 and 7 are arranged on the rail 4 and on the sole 2 of the shoe, wherein the connecting bolts 5, in the form of the shanks of the screws, are guided through the fastening openings 6 and 7 for the purpose of fastening the shoe to the rail 4, as indicated by the arrows. The fastening openings 7 on the rail 4 are in the form of slots which extend in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the rail 4, whereas the fastening openings 6 on the sole 2 are of circular form. The rail 4 has, in the heel region and in the foot ball region, support portions 22 which form widened support surfaces and on which are formed fastening openings 23 for the fastening of a conventional shoe to the rail 4.

On the top side, which faces away from the rail 4, of the sole 2, there is arranged a single continuous depression 11, on the base 12 of which are arranged the fastening openings 6 which run through the sole 2. The washers 13 can be arranged entirely in the depression 11 such that the washers 13 surround the fastening openings 6. When the fastening devices are fixed, the bearing parts, which are formed as heads of the screws, of the fastening devices are supported on that side of the washers 13 which faces away from the base 12. When the fastening devices are fixed, the bearing parts 9 are arranged entirely within the depression 11. The depression 11 can be covered from the direction of the inside of the shoe by a cover 3 (not shown).

FIG. 8 is a schematic and perspective illustration of a longitudinal section through the rail 4, shown in FIGS. 1 to 7, of the two-track roller skate 18. The mobility of the bearing parts 9 and 10 and thus of the fastening devices as a whole relative to the rail 4 is indicated by the arrows. It can also be seen that the bearing parts 10 have in each case a portion 24 of reduced outer diameter which engages into the respective fastening opening 7, whereas the further portion 25 of the bearing parts 10 with the larger outer diameter is supported on the underside of the rail 4.

FIG. 9 is a schematic and perspective exploded illustration of a further exemplary embodiment of an arrangement 1 according to the invention. Said exemplary embodiment differs from the exemplary embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 8 in particular in that the fastening devices are in the form of quick-action clamping devices. Each quick-action clamping device comprises a bearing part 9 which interacts with the sole 2 of the shoe and which has a base 26 and a clamping lever 27 arranged pivotably on the base 26. To fix a quick-action clamping device, the clamping lever 27 thereof is placed into the position shown in FIG. 9. The connecting bolt 5 of a quick-action clamping device is screwed into an opening 28 in a clamping lug 29 of the quick-action clamping device, for which purpose a driving profile suitable for manual handling is formed on the bearing part 10. If the clamping lever 27 of the quick-action clamping device is subsequently placed into the position shown in FIG. 9, the connecting bolt 5 is acted on with a tensile force suitable for fixing the quick-action clamping device and for fastening the shoe to the rail 4.

FIG. 10 is a schematic and perspective exploded illustration of a further exemplary embodiment of an arrangement 1 according to the invention. Said embodiment differs from the configuration shown in FIG. 9 in that, instead of the depressions 11 on the top side of the sole 2 and a cover 3, a cover unit 16 is provided which has receptacles 17 arranged on its underside, as is known similarly from FIGS. 4 to 6.

Claims

1. A roller skate comprising:

a shoe having a sole;
an elongate rail;
a first fastening opening extending through the rail;
a second fastening opening extending through the sole; and
a fastening device including a connecting bolt guided through the fastening openings for fastening the shoe to the rail,
wherein at least one of the fastening openings is a slot.

2. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the slot extends at least partially in a longitudinal direction of at least one of the rail and the sole.

3. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the fastening device is arranged in a heel region of at least one of the rail and the sole.

4. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the fastening device is arranged in a foot ball region of at least one of the rail and the sole.

5. The roller skate of claim 1, further comprising a cover unit arranged on a top side of the sole, the cover unit including an underside facing the sole and a receptacle located on the underside, wherein the fastening device includes two bearing parts disposed at opposite ends of the connecting bolt, and wherein one of the bearing parts is received within the receptacle.

6. The roller skate of claim 5, wherein the fastening device includes a washer at least partially surrounding the second fastening opening, and wherein the washer is received within the receptacle.

7. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the sole includes a depression located on a top side of the sole, wherein the second fastening opening extends through the depression, wherein the fastening device includes two bearing parts disposed at opposite ends of the connecting bolt, and wherein one of the bearing parts is received within the depression.

8. The roller skate of claim 7, further comprising a cover positioned over the depression to cover the depression.

9. The roller skate of claim 7, wherein the fastening device includes a washer disposed within the depression such that the washer at least partially surrounds the second fastening opening.

10. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the fastening device is configured as a screw connection

11. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the fastening device is configured as a quick-action clamping device.

12. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the fastening device is a first fastening device, wherein the roller skate further comprises a second fastening device, and wherein one of the first and second fastening devices is arranged in a heel region of at least one of the shoe and the rail, and the other of the first and second fastening devices is arranged in a foot ball region of at least one of the shoe and the rail.

13. The roller skate of claim 12, wherein the first and second fastening devices are spaced from one another in a longitudinal direction of at least one of the shoe and the rail.

14. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the rail has a length between about 150 millimeters and about 320 millimeters.

15. The roller skate of claim 1, further comprising

first and second axle receptacles;
first and second axles arranged on the respective first and second axle receptacles; and
a pair of rollers supported on each of the first and second axles.

16. The roller skate of claim 15, wherein the respective pairs of rollers are spaced from one another by a distance between about 70 millimeters and about 220 millimeters.

17. The roller skate of claim 15, wherein each of the rollers has a diameter between about 40 millimeters and about 80 millimeters.

18. The roller skate of claim 15, wherein the rail includes first and second fastening means on which the respective first and second axle receptacles are arranged, and wherein the first and second fastening means each form an included angle between about 10 degrees and about 45 degrees with a support surface of the rail.

19. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the rail is formed from at least one of aluminum, magnesium, titanium, steel, plastic, fiber-reinforced plastic, carbon, fiberglass, and a material mixture of carbon and fiberglass.

20. The roller skate of claim 1, wherein the sole is formed from at least one of leather, synthetic leather, rubber, plastic, a fiber-reinforced plastic, carbon, fiberglass, and a material mixture of carbon and fiberglass.
