TECHNICAL FIELDThe technical field generally relates to garments and more specifically relates to a garment comprising a portion for facilitating attachment of the garment to a limb or the like.
BACKGROUNDA bandage, such a compression bandage for example, may be difficult to apply to a limb or the like without assistance. For example, a person attempting to wrap a bandage around her forearm may have difficulty looping the bandage around her forearm because only one hand is available to wrap the bandage.
SUMMARYA garment may comprise a first portion and a second portion for facilitating attachment of the garment. In an example embodiment, the first portion may comprise a portion (e.g., main portion) of the garment to be attached (e.g., wrapped, looped, etc.) to a member (e.g., limb, wrist, ankle, foot, head, etc.). In an example embodiment, the second portion may be open at both ends and be cylindrical in shape (e.g., sleeve-like and cylindrical). The second portion may be attached to the first (main) portion of the garment. The second portion may be positioned around a member to be wrapped. Positioning the second portion to the member may secure the second portion to the member and thus secure the end of the first portion to which the second portion is attached. Upon positioning the second portion to the member, the first portion of the garment may be attached (wrapped, looped, etc.) to the member. In an example embodiment, the garment may be attached to the member with only a single hand.
In another example embodiment, the second portion may be positioned to other than the member (e.g., finger, toe, foot, hand, etc.) and the first portion may be attached to the member (e.g., wrist, ankle, calf, forearm, etc.). In an example embodiment, the garment may be attached to the member with only a single hand.
In another example embodiment, the second portion may comprise an opening in the first portion. The opening may be on the member. Upon positioning the opening to the member, the first portion of the garment may be attached (wrapped, looped, etc.) to the member.
