CORSET WITH DIFFERENT CURVATURE AND ELASTICITY

A non-sewing corset with different curvature and elasticity is disclosed, having a tubular knitted main body that defines a pull-through space. A reducing portion shrinking inward is formed in the middle section of the tubular knitted main body so that the corset has an hourglass-shaped structure. Two sleeving portions are formed on the upper and lower sides of the tubular knitted main body. The reducing portion uses a knitting method different from the two sleeving portions, with its elasticity higher than the elasticity of the two sleeving portions, so that the reducing portion can have a reinforced binding on the predetermined position of the body. As a result, the corset product alone can achieve the binding and body-sculpting effect of an additional vest.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to a corset, and more particularly to an innovative corset structure having different curvature and elasticity based on different knitting tension.

2. Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98.

Gradually aging or postpartum women are mostly facing troubles of belly bulge or thick waist. In order to maintain a nice body curve, many women would wear such binding and body sculpting products like corsets, so as to achieve a body sculpting effect by binding specific parts of the body like the waist or belly.

However, although prior-art corsets can indeed achieve a body sculpting effect, there is still some space for breakthrough and improvement in functional aspects. Most prior-art corsets have the shape of a straight cylindrical sleeve with uniform diameter, and have uniform knitting tension for elasticity. As a result, the overall corset only has uniform elasticity. When the corset is pulled over the user's body, there is an unavoidable lack of good binding and body sculpting effect. And there is no way to reinforce the body sculpting at specific parts of the body. If it is needed to reinforce the body sculpting effect, the user has to wear an additional vest, and manually tighten the vest adjustment rope to reinforce the body sculpting at specific part of the body. Therefore, the functionality of prior-art corset products still can not satisfy the practical needs.

Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement in the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.

Therefore, the inventors have provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention discloses a “non-sewing corset with different curvature and elasticity”. Based on its innovative structure having a tubular knitted main body, a reducing portion shrinking inward and two sleeving portions, the present invention functionally surpasses the prior art. Due to the reducing portion and sleeving portions knitted with different threads knitting tension and the consequent different elasticity, when the tubular knitted main body is pulled over the user's body, the reducing portion can reinforce the binding on a predetermined part of the body. In this way, the corset product alone can have the binding and body-sculpting effect of an additional vest. The present invention practically offers versatility, enhanced body sculpting effect, added value and convenience.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIGS. 1 to 4 disclose a preferred embodiment of the present invention of a non-sewing corset with different curvature and elasticity. However, it is to be understood that such an embodiment is for illustration purpose only, and is not intending to limit the scope of patent application.

Said corset 05 has a tubular knitted main body 10, being a tubular-knitted cylindrical sleeve knitted with a plurality of threads 11 (see FIG. 3) in order in a ring shape, without any stitching. The tubular knitted main body 10 defines a pull-through space 12 (only marked in FIG. 1), for the user to pull through and bind the tubular knitted main body 10 on at least the waist or belly position of the user's body. It can also bind the upper hip position of the user's body. This part has no limit.

A reducing portion 20 shrinking inward is formed in the middle section of the tubular knitted main body 10. Said reducing portion 20 is made by increasing the number of knitting stitches of the transverse threads 11, or reducing the knitting length of the transverse threads 11 to increase the elasticity of the middle section of the tubular knitted main body 10, so that the reducing portion 20 can have a reduced shape shrinking inward.

Two sleeving portions 30 are formed on the upper and lower sides of the tubular knitted main body 10. The knitting tension of the threads 11 of said sleeving portion 30 is lower than the reducing portion 20, so as to reduce the elasticity of the sleeving portion 30. As a result, the sleeving portion 30 has an expanding shape in contrast to the reducing portion 20.

Based on the structure wherein the reducing portion 20 and sleeving portions 30 are structured with different knitting tension of the threads 11, the tubular knitted main body 10 can have different curvature and elasticity in normal un-stretched state.

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 4, based on the above structure, when the tubular knitted main body 10 is pulled over the body of the user (marked by Arrow A in FIG. 4), the reducing portion 20 can bind the waist part of the body. Furthermore, as the elasticity of the sleeving portions 30 is lower than that of the reducing portion 20, only the waist part has strengthened binding force. Hence, comparing the prior-art corset products with uniform elasticity and straight cylindrical shape, the present invention can realize the binding and body-sculpting effects of an additional vest with a single corset 05 without the need for manual adjustment of the binding. Indeed, the present invention realizes such practical benefits as versatility and enhanced body sculpting effect.

Moreover, in implementation of the present invention, the tubular knitted main body 10 is integrally knitted from the top to the bottom. When knitting from the upper sleeving portion 30 to the reducing portion 20, the knitting tension of the threads 11 is gradually increased, and then when knitting from the reducing portion 20 to the lower sleeving portion 30, the knitting tension of the threads 11 is gradually reduced, so that the curvature of the tubular knitted main body 10 changes gradually and smoothly.

Additionally, in implementation of the present invention, a stretching portion 40 can be formed on the tubular knitted main body 10 by extending the knitting from at least one sleeving portion 30. Said stretching portion 40 can be in any style of predetermined tight-fitting pants (as shown in FIG. 5, a leg-warmer is taken for example, but not limited to this) or tight-fitting clothes (as shown in FIG. 6, an underwear is taken for example, but not limited to this). In this way, when worn by the user, the present invention offers additional body sculpting effect on other parts of the body. For example, when the stretching portion 40 is in the style of tight-fitting pants, there will be reinforced body sculpting on the thigh, hip etc on the lower body. While when the stretching portion 40 is in the style of tight-fitting clothes, there will be reinforced body sculpting on the chest etc on the upper body. Hence, the convenience and versatility are greatly enhanced.
