MULTILAYER ANTI-THEFT ZIPPER STRUCTURE

A multilayer anti-theft zipper structure arranged at a peripheral portion of a bag opening, comprising: a first layer zipper set and a second layer zipper set. The first layer zipper set includes a first layer zipper head and a first layer tape. The first layer zipper head is slidably arranged on the first layer tape. The second layer zipper set includes a second layer zipper head and a second layer tape. The second layer zipper head is slidably arranged on the second layer tape. The first layer zipper set and the second layer zipper set are arranged in a staggered configuration.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The instant disclosure relates to a zipper structure; in particular, to a multilayer anti-theft zipper structure.

2. Description of Related Art

Typical bags such as backpacks, hang carry bags, suitcases, etc. can provide a convenient way to carry various items outdoors. However, an interested party may pull on sliders on a bag zipper, open up the zipper tape, and retrieve personal properties of the user when the user is not aware or in a crowded environment, thus leading to the user's personal loss.

To address the above issues, the inventor strives via associated experience and research to present the instant disclosure, which can effectively improve the limitation described above.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The objective of the instant disclosure is to provide a multilayer anti-theft zipper structure that prevents an interested party from easily pulling on sliders on a bag zipper, opening up the zipper tape, and retrieving personal properties of the user when the user is not aware or in a crowded environment.

In order to achieve the aforementioned objectives, according to an embodiment of the instant disclosure, a multilayer anti-theft zipper structure arranged on a peripheral portion of a bag opening is provided. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure includes a first layer zipper set and a second layer zipper set. The first layer zipper set includes a first layer zipper head and a first layer tape. The first layer zipper head is slidably arranged on the first layer tape. Moreover, the second layer zipper set includes a second layer zipper head and a second layer tape. The second layer zipper head is slidably arranged on the second layer tape. The first layer zipper set and the second layer zipper set are arranged in a staggered configuration.

In summary, the multilayer anti-theft zipper structure in accordance with the embodiments of the instant disclosure prevents an interested party from conveniently reaching into the bag opening of a bag and retrieving items therefrom when the first layer zipper head opens the first layer tape through the design of at least two layers of zipper sets. Moreover, with the design of the staggered first and second layer zipper sets, theft can be prevented by hindering any interested party from simultaneously opening the first and the second tapes within a short time or when the user of the bag is unaware since the interested party has to pull on the first layer zipper head to open up the first layer tape, subsequently pull the second layer zipper head to open the second layer tape, and successively reveal the bag opening

In order to further understand the instant disclosure, the following embodiments and illustrations are provided. However, the detailed description and drawings are merely illustrative of the disclosure, rather than limiting the scope being defined by the appended claims and equivalents thereof.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The aforementioned illustrations and detailed descriptions are exemplarities for the purpose of further explaining the scope of the instant disclosure. Other objectives and advantages related to the instant disclosure will be illustrated in the subsequent descriptions and appended drawings.

Please refer to FIG. 1 as a first embodiment of the instant disclosure. The instant embodiment is a multilayer anti-theft zipper structure. Specifically, a multilayer anti-theft zipper structure arranges on a peripheral portion of a bag opening. As shown in FIG. 1, the multilayer anti-theft zipper structure includes a first layer zipper set 1 and the second layer zipper set 2.

The first layer zipper set 1 includes a first layer zipper head 11 and a first layer tape 12. The first layer zipper head 11 can be slidably arranged on the first layer tape 12, so that the first layer tape 12 can be pulled open or closed. The second layer zipper set 2 includes a second layer zipper head 21 and a second layer tape 22. The second layer zipper head 21 can be slidably arranged on the second layer tape 22, so that the second layer tape 22 can be pulled open or closed. When the first layer tape 12 and the second layer tape 22 are opened, the bag opening 100 is revealed, so that users' hand can reach through the bag opening 100 to retrieve items from the bag. In other words, the bag opening 100 is not revealed when only the first layer zipper head 11 is pulled on to open up the first layer tape 12. Moreover, the first and the second layer zipper sets 1, 2 are arranged in a vertically staggered configuration in the instant embodiment. Thus, when the first layer zipper head 11 is pulled on to open up the first layer tape 12, the staggered second layer zipper head 21 is exposed, and the second layer zipper head 21 needs to be pulled on to open up the second layer tape 22 and subsequently reveals the bag opening 100. Notably, the first and the second layer zipper heads 11, 21 can each include at least one pull tab, slider, teeth, and sliding grooves. The first layer tape 12 and the second layer tape 22 can each include two elongated zipper chains. Each chain has teeth arranged thereon that correspondingly engage with the teeth on the other chain. Pull tab, slider, teeth, sliding grooves, and chains are typical structures of a zipper head in the art, thus are not further disclosed herein.

In the instant embodiment, each of the first and second layer zipper heads 11, 21 is a single zipper head. The first layer zipper head 11 can slide to the left such that the first layer zipper tape 12 is opened up. The second layer zipper head 21 can slide to the right such that the second layer zipper tape 22 can be opened up. In other words, the first and the second layer zipper heads 11, 21 can slide in opposite directions such that the first and the second layer zipper tapes 12, 22 can be opened up in succession. However, in another embodiment, the first and the second layer zipper heads 11, 21 can also slide in the same directions such that the first and the second layer zipper tapes 12, 22 can be opened up in succession.

Please refer to FIG. 2 as another embodiment of the instant disclosure. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure of the instant embodiment is substantially the same as the previous embodiment except that each of the first layer zipper head 11 and the second layer zipper head 21 is a double zipper head. In other words, the first layer zipper head 11 includes a left zipper head 111 and the right zipper head 112. Similarly the second layer zipper head 21 includes a left zipper head 211 and the right zipper head 212. The left zipper head 111 and the right zipper head 112 of the first layer zipper head 11 can relatively slide in opposite directions in order to open up the first layer zipper tape 12. Moreover, the second layer zipper head 22 can be pulled together, in which the left zipper head 211 and the right zipper head 212 of the second layer zipper head 21 can relatively slide in opposite directions in order to open up the second layer tape 22.

Please refer to FIG. 3 as another embodiment of the instant disclosure. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure of the instant embodiment is substantially the same as the previous embodiment except that the first layer zipper head 11 is a double zipper head, whereas the second layer zipper head 21 is a single zipper head. The first layer zipper head 11 includes a left zipper head 111 and a right zipper head 112. The left zipper head 111 and the right zipper head 112 of the first layer zipper head 11 can relatively slide in opposite directions to open up the first layer tape 12. Moreover, the second layer tape 22 can be pulled together, in which the second layer zipper head 21 can slide in only one direction to open up the second layer tape 22. However, in another embodiment, the first layer zipper head 11 can be a single zipper head, whereas the second layer zipper head 21 can be a double zipper head.

Please refer to FIGS. 4 and 5 as another embodiment of the instant disclosure. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure of the instant embodiment is substantially the same as the previous embodiment except that multilayer anti-theft zipper structure of the instant embodiment further includes a third layer zipper set 3. The third layer zipper set 3 includes a third layer zipper head 31 and a third layer tape 32. The third layer zipper head 31 can be slidably arranged on the third layer tape 32. In the instant embodiment, the third layer zipper head 31 is a single zipper head (as shown in FIG. 4). Moreover, the second layer zipper set 2 and the third layer zipper set 3 are arranged in a vertically staggered configuration in the instant embodiment (as shown in FIG. 5). In other words, the first layer zipper set 1 and the second layer zipper set 2 are vertically staggered, while the second layer zipper set 2 and the third layer zipper set 3 are vertically staggered. Specifically, the first layer zipper set 1, the second layer zipper set 2, and the third layer zipper set 3 are vertically staggered.

Please refer to FIGS. 6 and 7 as another embodiment of the instant disclosure. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure of the instant embodiment includes a third layer zipper set 3. The third layer zipper set 3 includes a third layer zipper head 31 and a third layer tape 32 and is substantially the same as the previous embodiment except the third layer zipper head 31 is a double zipper head which includes a left zipper head 311 and a right zipper head 312 (as shown in FIG. 6). Moreover, the second layer zipper set 2 and the third layer zipper set 3 are arranged in a vertically staggered configuration in the instant embodiment. In other words, the first layer zipper set 1 and the second layer zipper set 2 are vertically staggered, while the second layer zipper set 2 and the third layer zipper set 3 are vertically staggered, but the first layer zipper set 1 and the third layer zipper set 3 are vertically aligned (as shown in FIG. 7). Furthermore, the multilayer anti-theft zipper structure of the instant embodiment can also include more than the three aforementioned layer zipper sets, and is not limited to the examples provided herein.

Please refer to FIGS. 8 to 10 as another embodiment of the instant disclosure. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure of the instant embodiment is arranged at a peripheral portion of a bag opening to demonstrate the closed bag opening. As shown in FIG. 8, the bag can be a backpack. As shown in FIG. 9, the bag can be a hand carry bag. As shown in FIG. 10, the bag can be a suitcase. Notably, the bag is not limited to the examples provided herein as long as the bag can retain items therein.

In summary, the multilayer anti-theft zipper structure in accordance with the embodiments of the instant disclosure prevent an interested party from conveniently reaching into the bag opening of a bag and retrieving items therefrom when the first layer zipper head opens the first layer tape through the design of at least two layers of zipper sets. Moreover, with the design of the staggered first and second layer zipper sets, theft can be prevented by hindering any interested party from simultaneously opening the first and the second tapes within a short period of time or when the user of the bag is unaware since the interested party has to pull on the first layer zipper head to open up the first layer tape, subsequently pull on the second layer zipper head to open the second layer tape, and successively reveal the bag opening.

The figures and descriptions supra set forth illustrate the preferred embodiments of the instant disclosure; however, the characteristics of the instant disclosure are by no means restricted thereto. All changes, alterations, combinations or modifications conveniently considered by those skilled in the art are deemed to be encompassed within the scope of the instant disclosure delineated by the following claims.

Claims

1. A multilayer anti-theft zipper structure arranged at a peripheral portion of a bag opening, comprising:

a first layer zipper set, including a first layer zipper head and a first layer tape, the first layer zipper head slidably arranged on the first layer tape; and
a second layer zipper set, including a second layer zipper head and a second layer tape, the second layer zipper head slidably arranged on the second layer tape;
wherein the first layer zipper set and the second layer zipper set are arranged in a staggered configuration.

2. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure as recited in claim 1, wherein the first layer zipper head and the second layer zipper head are each a single zipper head.

3. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure as recited in claim 1, wherein the first and the second layer zipper heads are each a double zipper head.

4. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure as recited in claim 1, wherein one of the first and the second layer zipper heads is a double zipper head, and the other layer zipper head is a single zipper head.

5. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure as recited in claim 1, further comprising:

a third layer zipper set, including a third layer zipper head and a third tape, the third layer zipper head slidably arranged on the third layer tape.

6. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure as recited in claim 5, wherein the second layer zipper set and the third layer zipper set are arranged in a staggered configuration.

7. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure as recited in claim 6, wherein the third layer zipper head is a single zipper head.

8. The multilayer anti-theft zipper structure as recited in claim 6, wherein the third layer zipper head is a double zipper head.
