Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a hand-held cleaning device that uses exfoliating material attached to a small tube that dispenses liquid or gel for use to clean and exfoliate skin of the user.

2. Description of Related Art

Many devices are used for cleaning the skin and in particular the facial skin and ear of a user. One common device is a typical swab. A swab is a small cotton or paper device that includes cotton swabs at each end for the removal of residue and wax from the ear of a user. These cotton swabs are also useful for applying and removing make-up in certain instances. Individuals normally use facial towels and pads for skin-care that provide some type of abrasion or exfoliating characteristics to clean the pores of the user. Further similar cleaning pads are used for the ear and other skin regions near the ear. Many of these are used in conjunction with a cream or gel that may provide further cleaning power for the user. It would be advantageous to have a device that utilizes a buffing pad along with a tool containing cleaning liquid or gel to exfoliate dirt and scrub skin for the user. It would further be advantageous to have the tube contain a liquid or gel that could be used to assist in the scrubbing and cleaning process.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a skin cleaning device including: a tube; an exfoliating pad attached to the tube at a first end of the tube; and a cleaning solution within the tube. A distal end of the tube allows for the dispensing of the cleaning solution, which may be in the form of a gel or a liquid.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 depicts a perspective view of a hand-held skin-care device in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a cleaning device that is used to remove buildup and grime from skin and therefore provide a mechanism for skin care. The present invention includes a tube with a buffing pad that effectively removes dead skin and helps to exfoliate and clean facial skin, ears and other various parts of the body. The present invention is depicted in the perspective view shown in FIG. 1. A skin scrubbing device 100 includes a tube 20 and exfoliating pad 25 attached to the tube 20 at one end. The tube 20 further includes an opening at a distal end that allows for the dispensing of liquid and materials stored within the tube 20. During use, the user squeezes the tube 20 in order to dispense liquid or gel onto the skin of the user. This liquid or gel is then agitated through the use of the exfoliating pad 25 as shown in FIG. 1. The combined use creates a scrubbing action onto the user's skin.

Used in conjunction with the liquid or gel, the present invention provides an effective and simple means to clean, exfoliate skin and remove debris from the user's skin or ears. The present invention also enables the user to apply the liquid gel directly to the scrubbing pad during use. The cleaning device 100 enables the user to dispense these liquids and medications in a single use with the non-abrasive cleaning pad 25. After completion of use an individual's skin and pores should be thoroughly clean and it helps to eliminate any debris or buildup that may lie on the skin.

The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description. They are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed, and obviously many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching. The exemplary embodiment was chosen and described in order to best explain the principles of the invention and its practical application, to thereby enable others skilled in the art to best utilize the invention and various embodiments with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated.
