Description
PRIORITY

This application claims priority to a U.S. Provisional Patent Application filed on Nov. 24, 2014 titled Makeup Palette and Mixing Surface Device and assigned U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 62/083,471, the entire content of which is incorporated herein by reference.

BACKGROUND Technical Field

The present disclosure relates to makeup palettes and, more particularly, to a makeup palette and mixing surface device.

Makeup palettes are difficult and uncomfortable to hold. Existing makeup palettes do not provide an area on which to blend and mix materials, causing inconvenience during the application process. Current makeup palettes are difficult or impossible to hold in one hand, forcing the artist to pause their work to manipulate the palette with both hands or to set the palette on a flat surface. Repeatedly picking up and putting down a palette holding delicate materials like pressed powders (frequently used for blush and eye shadow) can result in damage to the materials. Palettes held awkwardly in the hand are at risk of being dropped, which can break, spill, and ruin makeup and body art materials, including contaminating the materials.

As can be seen, there is a need for a makeup palette and mixing surface device that is comfortable to hold while being easy to use to blend and mix materials.

SUMMARY

The device may allow an artist, such as makeup artist, to move freely around their subject while still keeping their material easily accessible.

The present disclosure further provides a method for using the makeup palette and mixing surface device.

The present disclosure further provides a kit or package having the makeup palette and mixing surface device.
