Puzzle Shoes

A toddler and children's shoe with attachable puzzle like pieces. The top front half of the shoe will have an attachment feature such as Velcro and or snaps (FIG. 1), which will allow for different options in attaching and changing out pieces on the shoe. This gives the top of the shoe a new look and can make it fun for children. The covers will go on the whole front half of the shoe, starting at the front of the foot hole to the toes and ending right above the rubber sole edge on the sides of the shoes. There can be puzzle pieces, which can come in four to six pieces (FIGS. 3 & 4). There can also be one cover (FIG. 2) which can be attached onto the top or also two-piece covers (FIG. 3). The puzzle piece concept could help a lot because it is a fun and learning filled concept, by putting the pieces together themselves and creating a picture which they can show everyone the whole day or easily take the pieces off and put on a new one. The advantage of the many pieces that can be attached on the tops is that the child will never get bored with their shoes again and always have a new picture to look at. This will give the shoe a new look and the child can change them out as often as they want. They also have the option of doing the puzzle or just choosing the covers which will be one or two pieces. This is a lot more convenient for parents and the environment since they won't have to buy a whole new shoe when their children want something different. This could also be good for holidays and special events, that way the shoes can be decorated for any occasion or just for fun. I think this invention could also be for slippers too.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

My invention relates generally towards toddler and children's shoes. It is basically a shoe that has puzzle pieces that can stick to the tops of the shoes. There is also an option to do one piece covers and two piece covers that can also be attached and changed to the picture or design the child wants to wear on their shoes.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The general idea of this invention is to create a puzzle on or add cute covers to, the tops of toddler and children's shoes. It can solve problems because one pair of shoes could become many more with the pieces that can be interchanged on the top half of the shoe. Another problem it solves is that I haven't seen many shoes that hive designated pictures and designs for holidays like Christmas and Halloween, Birthdays, and even TV shows and movie characters. If a child could change out the covers, and make puzzles on the shoes it gives the show endless looks and possibilities. An advantage of this invention is that children can use the tops of their shoe's to create puzzle like pictures that stick to the shoe with Velcro, snaps, buttons or any combination of those to help the pieces stick securely and be able to change easily. The covers and puzzle pieces could be just one single piece, two pieces; such as a top and bottom half, or multiple pieces to form a puzzle (4-6 pieces). Children will love walking around with the picture they made on their shoe and looking at it all day and showing everyone. They could also change it whenever they wanted with different pieces that are sold separately which will create a new picture. Having the option to mix and match the pieces is also a great advantage, especially for the two-piece covers. The one piece tops would be good if they didn't want to create the puzzle that day, but still want something new and fun on their shoes. This gives them so many options and a lot of fun for the tops of their shoes. The children will love sticking the puzzle like pieces onto their shoes, they would be proud of what they accomplished and they will see the picture that they made with the pieces all day long.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a side view of the shoe, showing the front top half that has some snaps around the edges and Velcro on the top which is for the pieces that attach to them.

FIG. 2 is a view of the top side of a one piece cover, showing a Halloween themed picture on it.

FIG. 2A is a view of the bottom side of a one piece cover, showing the snaps and Velcro which will match up with the top of the shoe and can easily attach and be removed.

FIG. 3 is a bottom view of the six piece puzzle pieces that again can be matched up with the Velcro and snaps which will stick and attach to the shoe top.

FIG. 4 is a view of the bottom side of the four piece puzzle which can be attached to the shoe top.

FIG. 4A is a top view of a picture of a snowman with dotted lines representing the four piece puzzle pieces.

FIG. 5 is a top view of the two piece cover option, with a top and bottom that can go together with the same theme, such as the flowers and sun.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is the side view of the shoe, and the front top half of the shoe has Velcro on the tops, and snaps along the edges which can allow different sized pieces to be attached onto the top and changed out easily. The child can use the Velcro and/or snaps to stick on the pieces they want onto the top of their shoes.

FIG. 2 is an example of a top view of a one-piece cover with a Halloween theme that will attach to the top front half of the shoe.

FIG. 2A is an example of what the bottom could look like of the one-piece cover that goes on the top. Looking at the bottom view you can see where the snaps and Velcro would match up, and easily attach to the top of the shoe. These tops can be changed out for a different one very quickly and stay on well throughout the day.

FIG. 3 is an example of what the bottom view of the six-piece puzzle pieces could look like which would easily match up to the top of the shoe. This puzzle could form a picture or words, and can easily be taken off and new pieces could be put on if the child wanted to.

FIG. 4 is a bottom view of the four-piece puzzle pieces that can be attached to the tops of the shoes using the Velcro and snaps.

FIG. 4A is a picture of the top view of a four-piece puzzle, where the dotted lines show where each piece would have been separated. As you can see this one form's a picture of a snowman, and that would be what the child would look down at after putting together the pieces on their shoe. This would be a good design during Christmas and the winter time.

FIG. 5 is a top view of what the two-piece option could look like. There is a sun on the top and the bottom half is flowers in this example, but there could be anything on the top and bottom. It could also be changed out if they wanted to match the top with a different bottom or vice versa. These pieces will also have the Velcro and or snaps to attach on the shoe.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention of puzzle shoes is a lot different than any other shoes I have seen. The front top half of the shoe (right before the foot opening) has built in Velcro and/or Snaps, which has pieces that can be easily attached and changed out. This shoe is perfect for children who get bored with their shoes easily and just want something fun to look at when they are walking around or even just looking down at their shoes. For the different sized covers, there can be many different designs and pictures on each one that can be changed out to match different themes. There are different sized pieces as options for placing on the tops of the shoes. There is an option for puzzle pieces to be attached and changed out easily on the shoe, with the Velcro and snaps on the bottom of the pieces, matching up to the top of the shoe. The puzzle pieces can come in four to six pieces and can be put together on the tops to form a picture. There is a onepiece cover which is just a single piece that can be attached and changed on the tops also. There is another option for two pieces that can be attached and changed on the top of the shoe, like a bottom and top piece. I've noticed that for big holidays, there are not many options for children shoe designs such as Christmas, Halloween, and many different occasions. I think a Christmas tree or snowman, and pumpkins and ghosts for Halloween, would make some great options for the cover pieces during the holidays. This could also be great for their favorite characters in a TV show or movie. I think this would be so popular and children would be able to do a puzzle or just change the top of their shoes look whenever they wanted. This is also great because they get experience making something themselves, by putting all the pieces together and seeing the picture they made. This will also make them really proud of what they did, and they always have something to do if their bored. Another great thing about this invention is that children change their minds all the time, so why waste money buying a whole new shoe for your child's new favorite movie when you can just buy different cover pieces to snap or Velcro on some of their new favorite characters. This shoe can be so many different things in one, especially since the child can change the puzzle or cover every day and have something new. This helps the parents and environment so they don't have to keep buying a new pair of shoes, they can just buy the pieces sold separately and their child can continue to have fun and change up their original shoe.
