A plurality of panels is provided and each of the panels is positioned between the corner posts and the central posts to define a fence.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

FIG. 1 is a top perspective view of a fencing assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 2 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 3 is a right side view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view taken along line 4-4 of FIG. 3 of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 5 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new fencing device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the fencing assembly 10 generally comprises a plurality of corner posts 12. Each of the corner posts 12 has a top end 14, a bottom end 16 and a peripheral surface 18 extending between the top end 14 and the bottom end 16. The peripheral surface 18 of each of the corner posts 12 has a pair of grooves 20 extending inwardly therein and the pair of grooves 20 in each of the corner posts 12 extends between the top end 14 and the bottom end 16. The pair of grooves 20 on each of the corner posts 12 is oriented to form a right angle with each other.

The bottom end 16 of each of the corner posts 12 may be positioned to abut a support surface 22. Each of the corner posts 12 is positioned on the support surface 22 with respect to each other such that each of the corner posts 12 defines an associated one of four corners 24 of a rectangle 26. The support surface 22 may be ground. The bottom end 16 of each of the corner posts 12 has a stake 28 extending downwardly therefrom. Thus, the stake 28 penetrates the support surface 22 such that each of the corners posts 12 is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface 22.

A pair of central posts 30 is provided and each of the central posts 30 has an upper end 32, a lower end 34 and an external surface 36 extending between the upper end 32 and the lower end 34. Each of the central posts 30 is elongated between the upper end 32 and the lower end 34 and the external surface 36 of each of the central posts 30 has a pair of slots 38 extending inwardly therein. The pair of slots 38 on each of the central posts 30 is laterally aligned with each other.

The lower end 34 of each of the central posts 30 may be positioned to abut the support surface 22. Each of the central posts 30 is positioned between an associated pair of the corner posts 40 such that the slots 38 in each of the central posts 30 is aligned with an associated one of the grooves 20 in the associated pair of corner posts 40. The lower end 34 of each of the central posts 30 has a stake 42 extending downwardly therefrom. Thus, the stake 42 may penetrate the support surface 22 such that each of the central posts 30 is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface 22.

A plurality of panels 44 is provided and each of the panels 44 is positioned between the corner posts 12 and the central posts 30 to define a fence 46. Each of the panels 44 comprise a frame 48 that has a pair of lateral arms 50 coupled to and extending between a pair of longitudinal arms 52. The longitudinal arms 52 are spaced apart from each other such that the frame 48 has a rectangular shape. The frame 48 is positioned to removably extend between a selected one of the central posts 30 and one of the associated pair of corner posts 12 having the longitudinal arms 52 slidably engaging the slot 38 and the groove 20. A mesh 54 extends between the lateral arms 50 and the longitudinal arms 52 and the mesh 54 prevents an animal 56 from passing through the frame 48.

Alternatively, additional central posts 30 may be provided. The additional central posts 30 may be distributed between the associated pair of corner posts 40 in order to elongate the rectangular shape of the fence 46. The central posts 30 and the corner posts 12 may additionally be arranged in any desirable geometric shape that has right angles.

In use, the corner posts 12 and the central posts 30 are positioned on the support surface 22 to form the desired geometric shape with right angles. Each of the plurality of panels 44 is positioned between each of the corner posts 12 and the central posts 30. The panels 44 are used to sequester an area 58 used for gardening or agricultural purposes. A selected one of the panels 44 is removed to provide entry and exit through the fence 46.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
