DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The invention disclosed herein is directed to a cosmetic powder container. In the following description, numerous details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. It will be appreciated by one skilled in the art that variations of these specific details are possible while still achieving the results of the present invention. In other instance, well-known components are not described in detail in order not to unnecessarily obscure the present invention.

Refer now to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, in which FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of the cosmetic powder container in accordance with the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view of FIG. 1. In this embodiment of the present invention, the cosmetic powder container 100 includes a container body 110, an interior under-cover structure 120, an inner cover 130 and a container cover 140.

The container body 110 formed to include thereinside an accommodation space 112 has a bottom portion 114, a first engagement portion 116 and a second engagement portion 118. The first engagement portion 116 is extended from an end of the bottom portion 114. The second engagement portion 118 is further extended from an end of the first engagement portion 116 in a tapering manner. In particular, the second engagement portion 118 further includes a plurality of convex-concave structures.

The accommodation space 112 located between the container body 110 and the interior under-cover structure 120 is to receive the cosmetic powders.

The inner cover 130 located at a top of the interior under-cover structure 120 further includes a depress-contact portion 132 protrusive further from the inner cover 130.

The container cover 140 assembled to the container body 110 further has a protrusive portion 142 to form a contact engagement with the depress-contact portion 132 of the inner cover 130.

The container cover 140 has a plurality of concave-convex structures. When the container cover 140 is to seal or cover the container body 110, the plurality of concave-convex structures of the container cover 140 are to match or mesh the plurality of convex-concave structures of the second engagement portion 118, such that the container cover 140 can be firmly fixed to the container body 110.

The interior under-cover structure 120 further includes an engagement structure 122, a powder-through structure 124 and a disc member 126.

A top end of the engagement structure 122 is to match an upper rim of the container body 110. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the top end of the engagement structure 122 is shaped as a hook end to buckle the second engagement portion 118 so as to fix the interior under-cover structure 120 at a top of the container body 110.

Refer now to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, in which FIG. 3 is a schematic perspective view of the powder-through structure 124 for the cosmetic powder container in accordance with the present invention. As shown, the powder-through structure 124 is located between the engagement structure 122 and the disc member 126.

In this embodiment, the powder-through structure 124 further has a plurality of cuts 124a and a plurality of assembly holes 124b, where the assembly holes 124b are arranged to circle the cuts 124a.

The powder-through structure 124 is fixed to a bottom of the engagement structure 122 through the disc member 126. For example, a plurality of protrusive portions can be formed to the bottom of the engagement structure 122. By having these protrusive portions to engage, by penetration, respectively the corresponding assembly holes 124b of the powder-through structure 124, then the powder-through structure 124 can be fixed to the bottom of the engagement structure 122 at the same time while the disc member 126 is fixed to the engagement structure 122.

In addition, an opening of the engagement structure 122 is to expose the powder-through structure 124 thereunder, and the disc member 126 further has another hole communicative with the accommodation space 112 of the container body 110. Namely, the powder-through structure 124 is actually exposed in portion to the accommodation space 112 of the container body 110.

Refer now to FIG. 4, FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, in which FIG. 5 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the engagement structure and the powder-through structure for the cosmetic powder container in accordance with the present invention, FIG. 6 shows another state of FIG. 5 with the powder-through structure to be loaded by foreign depressive forcing, and FIG. 4 shows another state of FIG. 3 with the powder-through structure being deformed by foreign depressive forcing (not shown herein). In this embodiment, when a user applies a powder puff 10 or fingers to apply a foreign force down onto the powder-through structure 124, the powder-through structure 124 would be forced to be elastically curved in toward the accommodation space 112 of the container body 110. At this time, the cuts 124a on the powder-through structure would be depressively deformed and thus changed shapes into holes 124c, such that the cosmetic puff 10 or the fingers of the user can touch a specific amount of the cosmetic powders who are squeezed up to the top of the powder-through structure 124 by passing forcedly through the opened cuts 124a, i.e. the holes 124c, of the curved-in powder-through structure 124; or, the cosmetic puff 10 or the fingers of the user can touch the cosmetic powders in the accommodation space 112 through the holes 124c.

In addition, the powder-through structure 124 of the present invention can be made either a silica gel or a rubber. Thus, as the powder-through structure is further curved into the accommodation space 112 of the container body 110, the sizes of the holes 124c corresponding to the original cuts 124a can also be elastically enlarged with the elastic deformation of the powder-through structure 124. After the foreign forcing is removed, the powder-through structure 124 as well as the cuts 124a would be resumed elastically back to the original shapes shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4.

Further, the powder-through structure 124 of the present invention can include an antiseptic layer, coating, or membrane to avoid possible bacteria growth inside the container body 110.

In summary, by providing the cosmetic powder container according to the present invention, while a foreign force is applied to the powder-through structure, the powder-through structure would be elastically curved in toward the accommodation space of the container body, accordingly. Thereby, the cuts of the powder-through structure would be opened to form respective holes so as to allow the cosmetic powders in the accommodation space to be squeezed up to the powder-through structure through the opened cuts, or to allow the cosmetic puff or the fingers of the user to touch the cosmetic powders in the accommodation space through the open cuts, and then the user can apply these cosmetic powders easily.

While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to a preferred embodiment, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and detail may be without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
