BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(1) Field of Invention

The present invention relates to undergarments, specifically for women. More particularly, the present invention relates to absorbent pads for brassiere that absorbs perspiration and also provides padded coverage.

(2) Background of the Invention

Many women have a tendency to perspire around their bra line, especially when under stress, at work, or when performing physical activity. Excessive unwanted perspiration can result in embarrassing odors, sweat stains, or eventually discoloration of the surrounding clothes. Excessive perspiration can also lead to the need to constantly wash the affected bras, which increases the amount of wear and tear on those bras and thus requires that they be replaced more often. It can be expensive to have to constantly replace worn down bras, especially for women with a unique bra size who must specially order bras to fit their specific measurements.

While various pads and the like have been developed to respond to various other perspiration or moisture problems (e.g., underarm shields, sanitary napkins, etc.) none have been developed with enough flexibility to address the needs of numerous varieties of women suffering from breast perspiration. It is acknowledged that other devices have been developed for wear under the breast, but they are purposefully relatively thick and bulky and either intended for cosmetic, uplift purposes. Other pads have been developed to absorb perspiration; however, they are either bulky, address mainly the area between the breasts, or address the entire under area of the breast from underarm to cleavage. Such pads are too bulky and obvious as to not provide discretion of wearing by the user.

Numerous patents have disclosed such type of undergarments specifically designed for women to avoid perspiration under breasts. Likewise, prior art, Patent No US 20080004588 A1, discloses perspiration pads for female breasts, which are particularly adapted for placement between the overlying breast and adjacent chest wall to prevent skin-to-skin contact and to absorb perspiration in that area.

U.S. Pat. No. 8,075,367 discloses an absorbent pad for an underwire brassiere for absorption of perspiration to keep the skin dry, particularly under the breast, as well as padded coverage of the underwire. The absorbent pad for an underwire brassiere includes a sealed cover layer having opposed first and second surfaces and defining an open interior region therein.

US Patent Application No 20080312616 discloses a moisture absorbent under-breast pad for absorption of moisture between the breast and rib cage. The pad is made from 100 percent cotton cloth and is held in place by the weight of the breasts without adhesives or straps. The pad is comfortable to wear and provides relief from yeast infections, rashes, perspiration odor, and itching.

Another prior art, Patent No WO 2005009156 A2 discloses apparatus including a disposable perspiration pad including a perspiration absorbing material disposed in a carrier material, the pad including at least one detachable section that includes the perspiration absorbing material, the pad being capable of absorbing perspiration both with the at least one detachable section attached to the rest of the pad and with the at least one detachable section detached from the pad.

US Patent Application No 20140302745 A1, the invention discloses a push up bra liner consisting of bra cup pads and a center pad, each having an adhesive side for remove-ably attaching said pad to a bra and an absorptive side composed of four separate layers. The present invention provides a novel and comfortable means for absorbing excessive perspiration around the bra line in order to avoid unsightly stains on the wearer's surrounding clothing and odors.

US Patent Application No 20130104914 A1, discloses bra accessory for eliminating or substantially reducing the discomfort, chaffing, pain, rash, interring, and infections caused by pressure of a woman's bra cup rim against her chest, and by perspiration trapped between the woman's breast and chest.

Yet another prior art, U.S. Pat. No. 5,603,653 A, discloses perspiration absorbent pads for female breasts which are particularly adapted for placement between the overlying breast and the adjacent surface of the chest to preclude skin-to-skin contact and to absorb perspiration in that area.

Accordingly, the present invention overcomes all the disadvantages cited in the prior art and provides a solution for the women to feel comfortable and be absorption free using the above mentioned technology.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the foregoing applications inherent in the known types of perspiration absorbing pads present in the prior art, the present invention provides a new area of application wherein the pads are placed in such a manner in the brassiere of the women in order to absorb the perspiration occurring under the breasts. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new application of pads containing female brassiere which has all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages.
