Description
FIELD

This disclosure relates to the field of jewelry. More particularly, this disclosure relates to elastic rings.

BACKGROUND

Jewelry including rings have been around for many years. Rings are often purchased based on their particular look and feel and are sometimes purchased as fashion accessories. It is often necessary to purchase more than one ring to accessorize with different clothing having different colors and styles.

What is needed, therefore, is a ring that can be adapted to selectively have different colors or to otherwise change its shape in some manner.

SUMMARY

The above and other needs are met by a ring including a ring base including a groove having a first shape, and a removable ring insert in the shape of the first shape so that the ring insert fits tightly within the groove. The removable ring insert is preferably made of an elastic material, preferably silicone rubber. The ring base is also preferably made of an elastic material, preferably silicone rubber. The ring insert preferably fits flush within the groove.
