BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to the field of the case cover made for an ice chest or ice cooler. The invention, particularly relates to a cooler case covering shell for protecting the ice cooler from the direct sun heat and other abrupt condition.

2. Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98

In recent years, it has long been a practice to provide a cooler case cover with an eye-catching aesthetic design for the numbers of ice cooling units. These covers not only limited to protect the ice cooling unit from direct sun heat exposure, but also help in protecting the ice cooling units from any type of wear tear. The ultimate merchandising objective is, of course, to bring the means of storing to the attention of the user in a manner which will easily guide about the cooled material such as ice and other beverages with their influence to remain in cooled position after being for a long time. For this same end, it is also an objective to provide a cooling case cover with distinctive commercial presentations by the ice cooling units which will easily identify the user desired cooling storage temperature for the multiple versions.

There have been a number of solutions provided for an effective ice chest cover for the numbers of ice coolers and few of them have been discussed below:

U.S. Pat. No. 8,827,109 B1 discloses a one-piece ice chest cover for changing the appearance of an ice chest, including a flexible main pocket portion having a front side, two lateral sides, and a back side forming a main pocket opening for receiving a main body of the ice chest. It also includes a flexible lid pocket portion formed of an inner portion configured to face an inner-facing surface of a lid of the ice chest and an outer portion for covering an outer-facing surface of the lid. The lid pocket portion may include a lid pocket opening sized smaller than a size of the main pocket opening. The lid pocket opening may be sized to receive a portion of the lid of the ice chest. The outer portion of the lid pocket portion may be connected to the back side of the main pocket portion so that the ice chest cover flexes when the lid is pivoted to open and close the ice chest.

U.S. Pat. No. 6,027,249 A describes an ice cooler jacket system, including a one-piece composite material formed with an interior flexible fabric and an exterior flexible fabric and with thermal insulation material therebetween. The composite material includes a plurality of panels. A central rectangular back panel is provided with two long edges and two short edges sized to fit over the back of a cooler. A generally rectangular top panel is integrally formed with one long edge of the back panel to fit over the top of the cooler. A bottom panel is integrally formed with the other long edge of the back panel with two trapezoidal panels extending outwardly from the bottom panel with rectangular apertures adjacent to the central extent thereof for the passage of a drain tube of the cooler. Also provided is a first small left side panel integrally formed with the back panel in a generally rectangular configuration and extending laterally in a first direction from one short side of the back panel configured in a shape to conform to the left side of the cooler a second small right side panel integrally formed with the back panel in a generally rectangular configuration including an interior region sized to correspond to the right side of a cooler with a slot therethrough for the passage of a cooler handle. The second lateral panel includes an enlarged rectangular region corresponding in size to the front of the cooler.

US 20100133326 A1 relates to an expandable wrapper for an ice chest, including fastening elements at opposed ends for overlapping and securing the ends to one another. The wrapper is of expandable material and in combination with the fastening means will accommodate ice chests having a large range of girth dimensions. Preferably, the material is receptive to printing of words, logos and designs to suit a user's preference and to personalize the wrapped ice chest. In a variant, the wrapper may be a sleeve slidable mounted on the ice chest and of expandable/elastic material to accommodate the difference in girth between the bottom and the upper end of the ice chest as well as to accommodate ice chests of different sizes.

The aforesaid documents and other similar solutions may strive to provide an extra cooling layer for the ice chest; however, they still have a number of limitations and shortcomings such as, but not limited to, a waterproof mechanism for protecting the ice chest from the abrupt environment condition using a flexible and durable structure. The above mentioned prior arts can only perform certain aspects say for example, provides a cover having an enclosing mechanism and designed for allowing food and beverages to be kept chilled for limited periods, which is not as per convenient to user desires for their rigid structure.

While these covers fulfill their respective, particular objectives and requirements, the need remains for a system that has certain improved features to allow the unique layer of protection to the ice cooling unit, which also protect the system not only from direct exposure of sun heat as the system is also having a collapsible means, therefore overcome the aforesaid problem and shortcomings.
