BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the InventionThe present invention relates to a vest, and more particularly to a weighted training vest.
2. Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98Weight training is a good method for human muscular endurance and health such that some dieters choose the weight training method for reducing their body weight because the fat burning rate is greatly raised during weight training processes. For promoting the effect of weight training, a weighted training vest is a popular choice.
However, the conventional weighted training vest usually has the following disadvantages. The fastening effect of the conventional weighted training vest is not very good. The conventional weighted training vest is not easily adjusted according to the figure of the user and is inconvenient to wash.
The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantages of the conventional weighted training vest.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe main objective of the present invention is to provide an improved weighted training vest that has an excellent fastening effect.
To achieve the objective, the weighted training vest in accordance with the present invention comprises a rear carrier and a front connected to each other by two shoulder straps. The rear carrier includes multiple counterweights disposed therein. A first tie strap and a second tie strap respectively have a middle portion horizontally secured on the rear carrier. Two opposite ends of the first tie strap and the second tie strap respectively extends from two opposite sides of the rear carrier. The front carrier includes multiple counterweights 31 disposed therein. The front carrier includes a first turning structure and a second turning structure mounted thereon along a center line thereof. The first turning structure and the second turning structure respectively has a passing space defined therein. Each passing space includes two opposite sides each having a turning portion formed thereon. The two opposite ends of the first tie strap respectively extend through the passing space in the first turning structure. The two opposite ends of the first tie strap is respectively coiled on a corresponding one of the two turning portion of the first turning structure and secured on an outer periphery of the first tie strap after the two opposite ends of the first tie strap being tightly and forwardly pulled to make the rear carrier and the front carrier tightly abutting a back and a chest of an operator. As a result, an opening is defined among each shoulder strap, the rear carrier, the front carrier and the first tie strap and each hand of the operator extends through a corresponding one of the two opening. The two opposite ends of the second tie strap respectively extend through the passing space in the second turning structure. The two opposite ends of the second tie strap is respectively coiled on a corresponding one of the two turning portion of the second turning structure and secured on an outer periphery of the second tie strap after the two opposite ends of the first tie strap being tightly and forwardly pulled.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to the drawings and initially to
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first turning structure 32 and the second turning structure 33 are square structures.
The rear carrier 20 is formed with multiple upper pockets 24 and multiple lower pockets 25, wherein each upper pocket 24 and lower pocket 25 has a counterweight 21 received therein. An upper cover 26 and a lower cover 27 are respectively secured on the rear carrier 20. The upper cover 26 and the lower cover 27 selectively and respectively close the upper pockets 24 and the lower pockets 25 to prevent the counterweights 21 from being detached from the upper pockets 24 and the lower pockets 25 during training. The middle portions of the first tie strap 22 and the second tie strap 23 are respectively detachably secured on the upper cover 26 and the lower cover 27. Each free end of the first tie strap 22 and the second tie strap 23 has series of hook structure 221/231 and loop structure 222/232 inwardly sequentially disposed thereon. The front carrier 30 is formed with multiple upper pockets 34 and multiple lower pockets 35, wherein each upper pocket 34 and lower pocket 35 of the front carrier 30 has a counterweight 31 received therein. An upper cover 36 and a lower cover 37 are respectively secured on the rear carrier 30. The upper cover 36 and the lower cover 37 of the front carrier 30 selectively and respectively close the upper pockets 34 and the lower pockets 35 of the front carrier 30 to prevent the counterweights 31 in the upper pockets 34 and the lower pockets 35 of the front carrier 30 from being detached from the upper pockets 34 and the lower pockets 35 of the front carrier 30 during training.
With reference to
As described above, the weighted training vest in accordance with the present invention is comfortable when wearing, easily adjustable and stripped and washing, and has an excellent fastening effect.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
