Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a strike training device and, more particularly, to a strike training device permitting a trainee to know the magnitude of the striking force in real time.

With the progress of the electronic technology, gymnastic and fitness training enters the intelligence era. For example, the sandbags and the boxing gloves can detect the magnitude of the striking force of the trainee. However, current training devices can only upload the magnitude of the striking force of the trainee to a terminal device, which, in turn, transits the magnitude of the striking force to a display screen to display the magnitude of the striking force. The trainee cannot directly see the magnitude of the striking force in real time, adversely affecting the training efficiency.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a strike training device including an indicating device in a main unit to detect the striking force of a trainee hitting the main unit, with the striking force displayed in real time by a display by the strike training device, such that the trainee can know the striking force in real time.

The secondary objective of the present invention is to provide a strike training device including an indicating device using light to indicate the trainee the position of the main unit to be hit, increasing the training efficiency.

To fulfill the above objectives, the present invention provides a strike training device including a main unit having a pad and a cover configured to cover the pad. The cover includes a surface having a striking portion and a display portion. The display portion is light-permeable. An indicating device is mounted inside the cover of the main unit. The indicating device includes a controller, a detector electrically connected to the controller, and a display electrically connected to the controller. The detector is aligned with the striking portion of the cover. The display is aligned with the display portion. The striking portion is configured to receive a striking force from a trainee. The detector is configured to detect and transmit the striking force to the controller. The controller is configured to control the display to show the magnitude of the striking force to be seen by the trainee in real time.

In an example, the striking portion of the main unit is light-permeable. The indicating device further includes an indicating lamp electrically connected to the controller. The indicating lamp is aligned with the striking portion. The controller is configured to turn on the indicating lamp to emit light to transmit the striking portion to an outside to thereby indicate the trainee the position to be hit.

In an example, the detector of the indicating device includes a bladder and a sensor element. When the striking portion of the main unit is hit by the trainee, the bladder receives impact from an external force, and a pressure in the bladder is changed. The sensor element transmits a pressure change to the controller. The controller calculates a magnitude of the striking force based on the pressure change and controls the display to display the magnitude of the striking force.

In an example, the bladder of the indicating device is made of an elastic material and includes two outer layers. Each of the two outer layers has a periphery. The peripheries of the two outer layers are connected to each other to form an air chamber between the two outer layers. The bladder includes a plurality of supporting pegs mounted in the air chamber and spaced from each other. Each of the plurality of supporting pegs includes two ends respectively connected to the two outer layers. The sensor element of the indicating device is fixed on a side of the bladder and is exposed outside of the air chamber.

In an example, the pad of the main unit is made of an elastic material, the pad includes a first groove in a surface thereof, and the detector of the indicating device is mounted in the first groove.

In an example, the first groove includes a bottom wall having a second groove. The striking portion of the main unit is light-permeable. The controller of the indicating device further includes an indicating lamp received in the second groove.

In an example, the first groove includes a bottom wall having a third groove, and the display of the indicating device is received in the third groove.

In an example, the pad of the main unit is made of an elastic material and includes a fourth groove in a surface thereof. The controller of the indicating device is received in the fourth groove.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference to FIGS. 1-5, a strike training device according to the present invention includes a main unit 1 and an indicating device 2.

The main unit 1 includes a pad 11 and a cover 12 configured to cover the pad 11. The cover 12 includes a surface having at least one striking portion 121 and a display portion 122. Both the striking portion 121 and the display portion 122 are light-permeable. Fixing portions 123 extend from two sides of the cover 12. In this embodiment, the cover 12 includes a plurality of striking portions 121. The pad 11 is made of an elastic material, such as ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). The pad 11 includes a surface having a first groove 111 and a fourth groove 114. A plurality of second grooves 112 and a third groove 113 are defined in a bottom wall of the first groove 111. Each second groove 112 is aligned with one of the striking portions 121. The third groove 113 is aligned with the display portion 122.

The indicating device 2 is mounted inside the cover 12 of the main unit 1. The indicating device 2 includes a controller 21, a plurality of detectors 22 electrically connected to the controller 21, a display 23 electrically connected to the controller 21, and a plurality of indicating lamps 24 electrically connected to the controller 21. The detectors 22 are securely mounted in the first groove 111 and are respectively aligned with the striking portions 121 of the cover 12. In this embodiment, the display 23 is an LED strip. Alternatively, the display 23 can be a liquid crystal screen, an LED digital display, etc. Furthermore, the display 23 is received in the third groove 113 and is aligned with the display portion 122. The indicating lamps 24 are respectively mounted in the second grooves 112 of the main unit 1.

The detector 22 of the indicating device 2 includes a bladder 221 and a sensor element 222 connected to the controller 21. The bladder 221 of the indicating device 2 is made of an elastic, light-permeable material, such as silicone rubber. The bladder 221 includes two outer layers 2211. Each of the two outer layers 2211 has a periphery, with the peripheries of the two outer layers 2211 connected to each other to form an air chamber 2212 between the two outer layers 2211. The bladder 221 includes a plurality of supporting pegs 2213 mounted in the air chamber 2212 and spaced from each other. Each of the plurality of supporting pegs 2213 includes two ends respectively connected to the two outer layers 2211. The sensor element 222 of the indicating device 2 is fixed on a side of the bladder 221 and is exposed outside of the air chamber 2212.

With reference to FIGS. 1-6, in use, the fixing portion 123 of the cover 12 is fixed to a column 3. When a trainee hits one of the striking portions 121 of the main unit 1, the bladder 221 is impacted by the external force, and the pressure in the bladder 221 is changed. The sensor element 222 is configured to transmit the pressure change to the controller 21. The controller 21 calculates the magnitude of the striking force based on the pressure change and controls the display 23 to show the magnitude of the striking force by the number of the indicating lamps 24 that have been turned on.
