Description
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a tech field o a reversely folded umbrella.

Description of Related Art

Some companies have developed the umbrellas able to be reversely folded and closed, such as the “a kind of automatically out-turned umbrella”, Patent No. CN205337924U announced in the Mainland China. Its advantages, include the simple structure, convenient way of opening, acting force ensuring the umbrella runner's upward going produced through the umbrella runner pulling by the first elastic piece, nice appearance, strong practicability and good safety. However, it is discovered after use that it still has the following problems:

1. The umbrella is opened such that an acting force ensuring; the umbrella runner's upward going is produced through the second mounting groove pulling by the first elastic piece. Therefore, when the automatically out-turned umbrella is in the closed state, the, automatically out-turned umbrella can only be fixed in the closed state by engaging the clamping piece on the umbrella shaft together with the umbrella runner. However, because the first elastic piece has a certain pretension force, the umbrella runner would have the problem of popping open in the case of casual umbrella shaking by the user or accidental umbrella collision with some object because of the pretension force of the first elastic piece. Moreover, although the umbrella runner fixing by way of clamping piece is easy, the clamping piece is often not positioned into the stop hole on umbrella shaft during, assembly and therefore unable to be clamped within the stop hole, thus producing quality defects; and, the clamping piece can only be clamped within the stop hole on umbrella shaft by continuous manual adjustment, resulting in long assembly man-hours and not up to the production effectiveness.

2. Since the umbrella frame of the automatically out-turned umbrella is fixed by the umbrella runner, in the case of strong wind or umbrella frame end collision with some foreign object or person, the force produced by the collision and wind resistance cannot be offset or abated. Therefore, the umbrella frame is liable to deformation and damage with its service life reduced; and it may even bump into other people and the umbrella frame end may have the danger of stabbing and hurting other people.

In view of the above-mentioned disadvantages, the issue to be solved in this case is how to develop a kind of hand-push rotating umbrella where a stable closed state of umbrella can be achieved without providing the engagement structure and the umbrella canopy can rotate when the umbrella is in the opened state to avoid stabbing and hurting other people.

Referring to FIG. 3, wherein by applying the extension spring B, an upward acting force can be produced by means of the pretension force of the extension spring B when the moveable runner 4 is pushed up so that the moveable runner 4 and upper rib supporting rods 6 would not fall down affected by gravity, thus achieving a stable umbrella opening state. Next, referring to FIG. 1 again where in the case of closing the umbrella, the umbrella closing state can be achieved without providing the engagement structure and only by pulling down the moveable runner 4 vertically to restore the extension spring B back to the tension-free state. In addition, the man-hours for the engagement structure positioning can be saved during production and assembly because no engagement structure is required, which makes the processing and assembly faster and more convenient.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, wherein the moveable brace rod 9 consists of a connector 92 provided at one end of the upper rib supporting rod 6 and a tie rod 93 pin-jointed with the connector 92 and able to be bent into different angles accordingly along with the umbrella opening and closing actions. Thereby, the reversely-folded rib supporting rods 7 and lower rib supporting rods 8 can be opened and closed driven by the moveable brace rods 9 so that the opening and closing actions of the reversely-folded rib supporting rods 7 and lower rib supporting rods 8 can achieve a smooth effect with the aid of the moveable brace rods 9 when the user pushes open or closes the hand-push rotating umbrella 100.

Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, wherein the upper runner 3 can rotate with the umbrella shaft 1 as the center; and the upper runner 3 consists of a hollow-pipe shaped coupling piece 31 inserted in the umbrella shaft 1, a connecting piece 32 inserted from the top of the coupling piece 31 with one end exposed outside the coupling piece 31, a rotating runner seat 33 with its bottom end sleeved on the connecting piece 32 and the top end pin-jointed with the upper rib supporting rods 6 along the periphery and able to rotate with the umbrella shaft 1 as the center, a first inserting pin 34 inserted into the rotating runner seat 33 and connecting piece 32 and a second inserting pin 35 inserted into the coupling piece 31 and umbrella shaft 1.

Through the collocation application of the upper runner 3 and moveable runner 4, when the user opens up the umbrella in the case of strong wind or umbrella rib collision with some foreign object or person, the umbrella canopy would rotate to offset the impact force caused by the wind resistance or collision. In addition to avoiding the umbrella canopy deformation and damage, it also can avoid injury to the person holding or colliding with the umbrella so as to improve the umbrella use safety and practicability.

Then, the rotating runner seat 33 can be assembled at the top of the umbrella shaft 1 through the connecting piece 32 and the connecting piece 32 is fixed at the bottom of the rotating runner seat 33 by the first inserting pin 34. Therefore, even when the umbrella canopy encounters a strong wind or in the case of umbrella rib collision with some foreign object or person, the upper rib supporting rods 6 can drive the rotating runner seat 33 and connecting piece 32 to rotate relative to the umbrella shaft 1. Thus, the umbrella shaft 1 and upper rib supporting rods 6 would not be damaged under the influence of the twisting force and the service life can be extended.

Through the collocation application of the protruding section 321 and the left and right curved grooves of 3111 and 3121, the connecting piece 32 can rotate smoothly driven by the rotating runner seat 33 without friction with the inner wall of the left and right casings of 311 and 312 to produce resistance.

Then, because the width of the positioning body 322 is larger than the top diameter of the coupling piece 31, the positioning body 322 can be positioned at the top of the coupling piece 31 for the insertion of the bottom of the rotating runner seat 33.

Moreover, through the collocation application of the clamping edge 3221 and retaining piece 331, it can prevent the rotating runner seat 33 from being inserted too much into the connecting piece 32 to cause the rotation impossible.

Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, wherein a resilient sleeve over the umbrella shaft 1 is provided at the bottom of the upper runner 3. The resilient sleeve 37 can reduce the impact force when the moveable runner 4 is pushed up to avoid the damage due to too big force during the up-pushing of the moveable runner 4.

A cushion cover 36 is provided at the top of the upper runner 3; thereby, it can clamp and fix the edge of the outer umbrella cloth C tightly so that there are no cracks at the end edge of the hand-push rotating umbrella 100 to avoid rainwater seepage or loose threads; and it also has the buffering and anti-slip function in application to reduce the damage to the user's hand caused by the ground feedback force and the occurrence of slip.

As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a fixing sleeve 41 is provided at the bottom of the moveable runner 4 where the fixing sleeve 41 is combined with the moveable runner 4 by way of engagement or bolt locking. Through the application of the fixing sleeve 41, the bottom edge of the internal umbrella fabric 20 can be hidden between the fixing sleeve 41 and moveable runner 4 to reinforce the fixing of the internal, umbrella fabric 20 and provide the aesthetic effect as well at the same time.

Moreover, the diameter of the middle runner 5 is smaller than the diameter of the moveable runner 4; thereby, when the lower rib supporting rods 8 and, supporting ribs A are closed, there are no pressure and tightness problems between them at all and the hand-push rotating umbrella 100 becomes more flexible and smoother in the closing and opening up applications.
