A concave container holder apparatus that may be appended to a structure; the concave container holder apparatus consisting of a primary aperture to support a concave container extending partially there through; a first fastening component hook-like in general shape; and a second fastening component hook-like in general shape and of different dimension than that of the first fastening component, that each permit the container holder apparatus to be appended to a structure.

Description

This Nonprovisional Utility Patent application claims priority under 35 U.S.C. §§ 119(e) to U.S. Provisional Application No. 62/635,567 filed Feb. 27, 2018, which is expressly incorporated by reference herein.

The present disclosure is directed to apparatuses that may be attached to, and removed from various structures, and possess the ability to support a concave container.

BACKGROUND

In the general sense, people are a mobile species and often move from one environment to another. This mobility is executed through various modes of transportation such as walking, riding a bicycle, riding in an automobile, traveling in a train, flying in a plane, or in other ways. The environments of these journeys, including the various places of departure, modes of transportation, and the destinations, may differ and often present structures of various size, construction, and utility. People often interact with many types of structures such as leaning on a park bench, sitting in an airplane seat, or using a public toilet. At various points in these sample environments a person may eat or drink from a concave container such as drinking a cup coffee. In the scenario of drinking a cup of coffee, there may be specific moments where it is deemed less desirable to hold the coffee in hand. For example, when a person attempts to answer a mobile phone while standing near a park bench and resorts to positioning the cup within a partial section of their hand, or while placing luggage in an overhead compartment in the boarding of a train or a plane. In the case of boarding a plane or train, the coffee is often balanced on a less than optimal surface, such as placing the cup on an uneven seat cushion, or on the floor. These examples present the risk of spilling the coffee as well as the potential of burning oneself

The current options for securely positioning a concave container so it does not have to be held in hand are often complex, restricting, cumbersome, large, or do not account for the various types of structures across many different environments, thus providing only a single solution. Therefor there is a need for an improved concave container holder that can securely support concave containers of various diameter, and be selectively appended to, and removed from, multiple types of structures such as a park bench, a seatback pocket on an airplane, and many others.

BRIEF SUMMARY

Across various embodiments the Concave Container Holder solves or ameliorates, but shall not be limited to addressing, the deficiencies, and defects outlined in the previous section, “Background”, concerning concave container holders. One primary object of the Concave Container Holder invention is to provide people who often move from one environment to another the ability to append their concave container to various types of structures so they do not have to hold the container in their hand.

To achieve the aforementioned object, the Concave Container Holder apparatus includes three key components, an aperture circular in general shape that may receive a concave container, whereas the concave container rests partially extending through the aperture, a first fastening component that is hook-like in general shape and may receive a ledge or terminal point of a structure, and a second fastening component hook-like in general shape that is of different dimension of the first fastening component and contains the ability to receive a ledge or terminal point of a structure.

The features of the Concave Container Holder invention enable appending to many types of structures, for example some examples may include, but not be limited to, appending to a seatback pocket of an automobile, train, or airplane through a first fastening component hook-like in general shape that may slip securely over the top edge of the seatback pocket resulting in a tight, pinching-like connection. In the same illustrative embodiment, the second fastening component, may also be used to append over the top edge of a park bench, or the top edge of a desk drawer, allowing gravity and the connecting points of the hook-like fastening component to append to the ledge, and support a concave container. Other examples of structures that the invention may be affixed to may include the top edge certain types of open toilet tissue dispensers within public bathrooms, the edge of a wooden chair containing a flat board as a back rest, or a vertical rectangular ledge of a book shelf as well as many other types of structures.

A first exemplary embodiment of the Concave Container Holder may consist of an aperture circular in general shape, a top ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, an exterior sidewall traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, a bottom ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture adjacent to the sidewall, a first fastening component hook-like in general shape adjacent to the aperture and having the opening of the hook-like connecting component open in the general direction towards the plane of the top ledge of the aperture, a second fastening component hook-like in general shape adjacent to the first fastening component, whereas the second fastening component is open in the general direction towards the plane of the bottom ledge of the aperture, and is of different dimension of the first fastening component so that it may receive a structure of different dimension than that of the first fastening component.

A second exemplary embodiment of the Concave Container Holder may consist of an aperture circular in general shape, a top ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, an exterior sidewall traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, a bottom ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture adjacent to the sidewall, a first fastening component hook-like in general shape adjacent to the aperture and having the opening of the hook-like connecting component open in the general direction towards the plane of the bottom ledge of the aperture, a second fastening component hook-like in general shape adjacent to the first fastening component, whereas the second fastening component is open in the general direction towards the plane of the bottom ledge of the aperture, and is of different dimension of the first fastening component so that it may receive a structure of different dimension than that of the first fastening component.

A third exemplary embodiment of the Concave Container Holder may consist of an aperture circular in general shape, a top ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, an exterior sidewall traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, a bottom ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture adjacent to the sidewall, a top wall adjacent to the top ledge containing two protruding exterior walls projecting downward away from the top wall at each of the terminal ends of the top wall, and a moveably connected third wall, projecting down away from the top wall which is located between the two exterior walls, and can adjust to create a first and second fastening component both hook-like in general shape, of different dimension.

Detailed descriptions of accompanying exemplary embodiments communicate the disclosure as presently perceived. It should be understood that the content provided in this disclosure indicate only several potential preferred embodiments of the invention and that all embodiments disclosed herein are intended for illustrative purposes and they are not intended to, nor shall they, limit the scope of the invention.

An object of the Concave Container Holder disclosed herein is to provide an improved concave container holder apparatus that enhances the user experience, and reduces the risks of potentially spilling or wasting consumable content contained within a concave container.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

As seen in FIG. 1A through FIG. 8H, the respective artwork illustrates a concave container holder in accordance with exemplary possible embodiments of the present disclosure, and as seen in FIG. 9A, FIG. 9B, FIG. 10A, and FIG. 10B the respective artwork illustrates an exemplary embodiment in use within an environment with an unclaimed potential structure, in this case two different types of chairs, and as seen in FIG. 9C the respective embodiment illustrates a component of the method for the concave container holder in accordance with exemplary possible embodiments of the present disclosure. Variations of a first exemplary embodiment are represented in FIGS. 1 through FIGS. 5, these exemplary embodiments consisting of primary aperture circular in general shape 2, consisting of a first entry or exit point of the primary aperture 3 opening on a parallel plane to a second entry or exit point of the primary aperture 4, both 3 and 4 being connected by an adjacent exterior sidewall of primary aperture 5, an interior wall of primary aperture 6, and terminating at a top ledge of primary aperture 18, and a bottom ledge of primary aperture 19. In such related exemplary embodiments, the primary aperture circular in general shape 2 is adjacent to a an exterior wall of first fastening component 8 of the adjacent first fastening component that is hook-like in general shape 7, of which that opens towards the general direction of the top ledge of the primary aperture 18. The first fastening component that is hook-like in general shape 7, possesses two interior walls of first fastening component 13 that join at a base of the hook-like shape. The base of the interior wall of a first fastening component 13 is adjacent to an exterior wall of first fastening component 8, and opposite an exterior wall of first fastening component 11 that is adjacent to a second fastening component that is hook-like in general shape 9. The second fastening component that is hook-like in general shape 9 is of different dimension of the first fastening component that is hook-like in general shape 7, and may open in a similar or inverse general direction of the first fastening component that is hook-like in general shape 7. The second fastening component that is hook-like in general shape possesses an exterior wall of second fastening component 10, that opposes the interior wall of second fastening component 12. Both the fastening components terminate on an exterior sidewall of fastening components 14.

Across the exemplary embodiments the primary aperture, first fastening component, second fastening component, exterior sidewall of primary aperture, and both top and bottom ledge may vary in size, shape, direction, location, and other related aspects. For clarity of communication and ease of understanding all such features may be absent of a reference across embodiments and figures where previously introduced. Regarding all exemplary embodiments, not every aspect, feature, reference point, or other such elements is described or identified as many embodiments contain similar aspects, features, and elements that were previously identified within this disclosure.

Referring now to the drawings, beginning with FIG. 1A, a front profile view of an exemplary embodiment of the Concave Container Holder identified by numeral 1. This exemplary concave container holder aperture of annular shape containing an appendage rectangular and hook-like in general shape is comprised of a primary aperture circular in general shape 2, a first entry or exit point of the primary aperture 3 that is at least partially defined by a top ledge of primary aperture 18, adjacent to an exterior sidewall of primary aperture 5, the exterior sidewall of primary aperture 5 forming an at least partial boundary of the primary aperture 2, and terminating at a bottom ledge of primary aperture 19 that is adjacent to the sidewall of primary aperture 5. The bottom ledge of primary aperture 19 creates an at least partial boundary of a second entry or exit point of the primary aperture 4 of which is on an at least general parallel plane to that of the first entry or exit point of the primary aperture 3. Claims

1. A concave container holder comprising:

a primary aperture circular in general shape, the primary aperture being defined by a top ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, an adjacent exterior sidewall traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, and an adjacent bottom ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture; and
a first fastening component hook-like in general shape adjacent to the aperture, the opening of the hook-like fastening component open in the general direction of the plane of the top ledge of the aperture, and;
a second fastening component hook-like in general shape adjacent to the first fastening component, whereas the second fastening component opens towards the general opposing direction of that of the first fastening component, and;
the second fastening component is of different dimension of the first fastening component.

2. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein the first fastening component is of larger dimension than that of the second fastening component.

3. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein the primary aperture can support a concave container through both entry planes of the aperture.

4. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein the first and second fastening components open in a general parallel angle between a 136 degree angle to a 44 degree angle.

5. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein the primary aperture contains the capability to be adjusted to accommodate concave containers of various diameter.

6. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein the concave container holder is constructed of polymer compound.

7. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein the primary aperture is not circular in general shape.

8. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein the primary aperture connects to the fastening components through a moveable joint connection point.

9. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein any of the dimensions of the second fastening component are adjustable to accommodate appending to various size structures.

10. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein any of the dimensions of the first fastening component are adjustable to accommodate appending to various size structures.

11. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein each of the key components, the primary aperture, the first fastening component, and the second fastening component, may be assembled together and taken apart.

12. The concave container holder of claim 1, wherein it is constructed of a metal.

13. A concave container holder comprising of:

a primary aperture circular in general shape, the primary aperture being defined by a top ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, an adjacent exterior sidewall traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture, and a bottom adjacent ledge traveling at least a partial circumference of the aperture; and
a first fastening component hook-like in general shape and adjacent to the aperture, the opening of the hook-like component open in the same general direction of the plane of the bottom ledge of the aperture, and;
a second fastening component hook-like in general shape adjacent to the first fastening component, whereas the second fastening component opens towards the same general direction of that of the first fastening component, and;
the second fastening component is of different dimension than that of the first fastening component.

14. The concave container holder of claim 13, wherein the first and second fastening components are parallel in general direction at some angle between a 136 degree angle to a 44 degree angle.

15. The concave container holder of claim 13, wherein the first and second fastening components protrude down away from the top ledge at different angles.

16. The concave container holder of claim 13, wherein the dimension of the first and second fastening components are adjustable to accommodate appending to various size structures.

17. The concave container holder of claim 13, wherein the concave container holder is constructed of polymer compound.

18. The concave container holder of claim 13, wherein any of the dimensions of the second fastening component are adjustable to accommodate appending to various size structures.

19. A method of promotion for an organization, registered business entity, campaign, brand, social movement, belief, or other subject through the means of a concave container holder, the method comprising:

a) the identification of a subject for promotion;
b) the customization of a concave container holder through color, logo, image, text, or design;
c) the manufacture of a concave container holder;
d) the distribution of a concave container holder;
e) the promotion of an organization, registered business entity, campaign, brand, social movement, belief, or other subject through the sale, giveaway, gifting, or use of a concave container holder.

20. The concave container holder of claim 1, whereas the top has at least one corner feature or ridge that may receive an edge of an object.
