Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention related to bipod and grip apparatus mounted to rail system under the stock in fire and air rifles.

In particular, the invention relates to bipod and grip apparatus designed to ensure user to fire rifle in a lying position in fire and air rifles or to fire by fastening rifle to a predetermined position and to grip rifle during firing without any discomfort.

STATE OF THE ART

The apparatus named bipod and hand grip is used which is located under the hand stock during fastening fire and air rifles to ground or freely use, balances the rifle by means of opening legs when user desires to fasten rifle to ground, and which user uses as a support by holding it with his one hand when desired to free use.

As can be seen in “FIG. 8” in the state of art, it is obvious that bipod system is comprised of more numbers of components. Disadvantages such as a plurality of components in this system comprised of eighteen components in total and wasting a significant time during mounting due to small components and difficult mounting may occur.

Another disadvantage of the current system is yet that a polymer (plastic) pressure is applied on steel body in the legs. It is seen that those legs cannot bear overweight and can be broken.

Existence of the problems above mentioned and inefficacy of the current solutions require to carry out a development in the technical field pertaining to bipod and grip apparatus used in fire and air rifles.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

Main object of the invention is to ensure user to fire rifle by taking a lying position or fastening to a specific position in fire and air rifles.

Object of the invention is to ensure user to grip rifle during firing rifle without any discomfort.

Another object of the invention is to ease the mounting by decreasing the number of components of subject matter bipod and grip apparatus accordance with the state of art.

Further object of the invention is to prevent legs of bipod from breaking by means of increasing the strength thereof.

Another object of the invention is to modularly use the designed apparatus as a bipod and hand grip.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the bipod and grip apparatus (A) subject to the invention are explained solely fora better understanding of the subject, without generating any restrictive effect.

FIG. 1 illustrates the exploded view of the subject matter bipod and grip apparatus (A). In its basic state; it comprises a body (1) on which all members are assembled, a bipod cover (2) located between legs (4) and body (1) on which the legs (4) used to position rifle on the ground are fastened, side picatinny cover (3) to mount the system to rifle, legs (4) and spring (8) to open-close said legs (4).

In said bipod and grip apparatus (A); side picatinny (3) to be mounted on the body (1) are fastened using nuts (7) from opposite by means of centering it to screw housings (1-a) on the body (1) and trail screw housings (3-a) on the side picatinny (3) with screws (6) (FIG. 1). Another centralizer housings on the body (1) of side picatinny (3) are side cover centering housing (1-c) in FIG. 2 and centering housing (3-c) in FIG. 4. Trail lean angles (3-b) on said side picatinny (3) are fastened on the body (1) by positioning it to trail housing (1-d) on the body (1).

Centering housings (2-a) and cover locking lugs (1-e) on the body (1) corresponding to said centering housings (2-a) are formed so as to mount bipod cover (2) on the body. Bipod cover (2) is mounted rotating in direction of rotation (2-e) during mounting on the body (1). Said bipod cover (2) comprises a pin stopper (2-c) formed therein and on which spring centralizer (5) leans.

In said bipod and grip apparatus (A); legs (4) are pinned to each other by means of pins (9) from pin housing (4-a) and are mounted to bipod cover (2) by putting a tension spring (10) therebetween. Said pins (9) are positioned to pin grooves (1-f) in the body (1). Spring (8) and spring centralizer (5) are located in the body (1). Spring housing (5-a) in the spring centralizer (5) itself functions as centering the spring.

Locking lugs (4-c) and locking windows (2-b) provided so as to mount and lock the legs (4) to body (1) together with bipod cover (2) user to easy mount and demount the component. When said legs (4) are in an open position in the bipod cover (2), they lean on the leg leaning housings (2-d).

Locking lugs (4-c) are formed on the legs (4) so that legs (4) carry out the locking function in the bipod and grip apparatus (A). Said locking lugs (4-c) are locked to the surface in the bipod cover (2). Lower portions of said legs (4) are formed by leg base (4-b) and its bodies are formed by leaning surfaces (4-d).

Another aspect of the invention is that it can be used as grip along with use as bipod. By de-mounting bipod cover (2) under the body (1) together with the legs (4), grip cover (11) is attached its place and it is rotated in the direction of rotation (2-e).
