Desk Lifting Structure

A desk lifting structure contains: a horizontal rod, an actuation rod, and two legs. The horizontal rod includes two orifices and two locking grooves. The two locking grooves have two engagement portions, two openings, and two guide portions respectively. The actuation rod is located beside and is parallel to the horizontal rod, and the actuation rod includes two movable joints. The two legs include two movable supports and two holders individually. The movable supports have two connection members respectively, the two legs are connected with two ends of the actuation rod respectively, the two connection members have two side plates individually, and the two side plates have two first fixing apertures and two second fixing apertures respectively.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a desk lifting structure which is expendable and retractable easily.

Description of the Prior Art

Conventional office desk and writing desk have a fixed height, but they cannot be adjustable to satisfy using requirements. In addition, with the evolution of human development, it has gradually found that sedentary office is not conducive to the improvement of work efficiency. People began to try to sit and stand alternately. Therefore, there is a lifting desk produced, which not only adjusts the height of the desktop with the height of the user, but also maintains good sitting position, ergonomic, and more liberalized office, help human health.

To save package material, facilitate easy storage, reduce shipping and stock costs, a desk lifting structure is developed.

The desk lifting structure contains a holder, a first leg, and a second leg. The holder includes a horizontal rack and two side wings. The horizontal rack contains two rectangular tubes separately connected, an accommodation groove defined between the two rectangular tubes, two first orifices and two second orifices which are formed on two ends of the two rectangular tubes respectively. The first leg includes a first drive element and a first movable rod connected on a lower end of the first drive element, the first drive element has a first threaded aperture defined on a position of an inner side thereof and is accommodated in the accommodation groove, and at least one locking element (such as at least one screw) is inserted through the first orifice and the second orifice to screw with the first threaded aperture. The first leg is rotatably expended or retracted relative to the horizontal rack along the locking element. The first drive element has a second threaded aperture defined on an upper end thereof adjacent to the first movable rod. When the first leg is rotatably expended to be perpendicular to the horizontal rack, the at least one locking element is inserted through the second orifice to screw with the second threaded aperture. The second leg includes a second drive element and a first second movable rod connected on a lower end of the second drive element, wherein the second drive element is rotatably connected with the horizontal rack so that the second leg is expended and retracted relative to the horizontal rack. The structure of the second drive element and the second movable rod is identical that of the first drive element and the first movable rod.

However, when retracting a desk, the at least one locking element of the first and second legs is removed from the horizontal rack so as to retract the first leg and the second leg rotatably. When expending the desk, the first and second legs are rotatably expended to be perpendicular to the horizontal rack, and the second orifice is aligned with the second threaded aperture so that the at least one locking element is inserted through the second orifice to screw with the second threaded aperture, thus expending and retracting the desk troublesomely and having storage and using inconvenience.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a desk lifting structure which is expendable and retractable easily and quickly.

To obtain above-mentioned objectives, a desk lifting structure provided by the present invention contains: a horizontal rod, an actuation rod, and two legs.

The horizontal rod includes two orifices defined adjacent to the two ends of the horizontal rod respectively, and the horizontal rod includes two locking grooves formed among the two orifices and the two ends of the horizontal rod individually. The two locking grooves have two engagement portions arranged on two upper ends thereof respectively, two openings defined on two lower ends of the two locking groove individually, and two guide portions defined among the two engagement portions and the two openings respectively.

The actuation rod is located beside and is parallel to the horizontal rod, and the actuation rod includes two movable joints arranged adjacent to the two ends of the actuation rod individually.

The two legs are symmetrical and include two movable supports and two holders fixed on two lower ends of the two legs individually. The movable supports have two connection members arranged on two upper ends thereof individually, the two legs are connected with two ends of the actuation rod respectively so as to drive the two movable supports of the two legs to lift synchronously, and the two connection members have two side plates individually. The two side plates have two first fixing apertures and two second fixing apertures respectively, the two side plates contact with two ends of the horizontal rod individually, and two joining elements are inserted into the two orifices of the horizontal rod to screw with the two first fixing apertures of the two connection members of the two legs respectively so that the two legs rotatably expand and retract along the two joining elements relative to the horizontal rod.

When the two legs expand or retract, the two movable joints of the actuation rod rotate with the two legs, and two screwing elements are screwed with the two second fixing apertures of the two connection members of the two legs individually. When the two legs are rotated to be perpendicular to the horizontal rod, the two screwing elements are retained into the two locking grooves of the horizontal rod.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

With reference to FIGS. 1-8, a desk lifting structure according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a horizontal rod 10, an actuation rod 20, two legs 30, and two support racks 40.

The horizontal rod 10 includes a first connection component 10A and two second connection components 10B movably accommodated into two ends of the first connection component 10A respectively so that the horizontal rod 10 is movable. The horizontal rod 10 includes two orifices 11 defined adjacent to the two ends thereof respectively, and the horizontal rod 10 includes two locking grooves 12 formed among the two orifices 11 and the two ends of the horizontal rod 10 individually, wherein the two locking grooves 12 have two engagement portions 121 arranged on two upper ends thereof respectively, two openings 122 defined on two lower ends of the two locking groove 12 individually, and two guide portions 123 defined among the two engagement portions 121 and the two openings 122 respectively.

The actuation rod 20 includes a first coupling part 20A and two second coupling part 20B movably accommodated in two ends of the actuation rod 20 respectively so that the actuation rod 20 is movable, wherein the horizontal rod 10 is located beside and is parallel to the horizontal rod 10, and the actuation rod 20 includes two movable joints 21 arranged adjacent to the two ends of the actuation rod 20 individually.

The two legs 30 are symmetrical, and the two legs 30 include two movable supports 31 and two holders 32 fixed on two lower ends of the two legs 30 individually so as to support the two legs 30 in a large area securely. The movable supports 31 have two connection members 33 arranged on two upper ends thereof individually, wherein the two legs 20 are connected with two ends of the actuation rod 20 respectively so as to drive the two movable supports 31 of the two legs 30 to lift synchronously, and the two connection members 33 have two side plates 331 individually, wherein the two side plates 331 have two first fixing apertures 3311 and two second fixing apertures 3312 respectively, the two side plates 331 contact with two ends of the horizontal rod 10 individually, and two joining elements 50 are inserted into the two orifices 11 of the horizontal rod 10 to screw with the two first fixing apertures 3311 of the two connection members 33 of the two legs 30 respectively so that the two legs 30 rotatably expand and retract along the two joining elements 50 relative to the horizontal rod 10. When the two legs 30 expand or retract, the two movable joints 21 of the actuation rod 20 rotate with the two legs 30, and two screwing elements 60 are screwed with the two second fixing apertures 3312 of the two connection members 33 of the two legs 30 individually, wherein when the two legs 30 are rotated to be perpendicular to the horizontal rod 10, the two screwing elements 60 are retained into the two locking grooves 12 of the horizontal rod 10.

The two support racks 40 are locked on the two ends of the horizontal rod 10 and the two upper ends of the two legs 30 so as to lock and to support a desk plate (not shown).

As shown in FIGS. 6-8, in operation, the two movable supports 31 of the two legs 30 are rotated toward and stacked with the horizontal rod 10 along the two joining elements 50 individually, thus retracting the two legs. In contrast, the two movable supports 31 of the two legs 30 are rotated away from the horizontal rod 10 along the two joining elements 50 respectively so as to be perpendicular to the horizontal rod 10, and the two screwing elements 60 are retained with the two engagement portions 121 via the two guide portions 123 from the two openings 122 of the two locking grooves 12 of the horizontal rod 10 respectively.

When expanding the two legs 30, the horizontal rod 10 and the two side plates 331 of the two connection members 33 of the two legs 30 are forced securely by using the two screwing elements 60, thus fixing the two legs 30 stably. Thereafter, unscrewing the two screwing elements 60 loosely, the two legs are retracted.

As illustrated in FIG. 9, the two movable joints 21 include two first positioning components 211 and two second positioning components 212 respectively, the two first positioning components 211 have two first rotatable connecting portions 2111 extending from two ends of the two first positioning components 211 respectively, the two second positioning components 212 have two second rotatable connecting portions 2121 extending from two ends of the two second positioning components 212 individually, and the two first rotatable connecting portions 2111 of the two first positioning components 211 are rotatably connected with the two second rotatable connecting portions 2121 of the two second positioning components 212 respectively. With reference to FIG. 10, a first connector 213 has two first tabs 2131 oppositely extending from an end thereof, a second connector 214 has two second tabs 2141 oppositely extending from an end thereof, wherein the two first tabs 2131 are rotatably connected with the two second tabs 2141 by ways of two locating elements 215 respectively. Referring to FIG. 11, a receiving hose 216 is flexible and has two affix portions 2161 arranged on two ends thereof respectively, and a steel cable 217 is inserted into the receiving hose 216.

Thereby, the desk lifting structure of the present invention has advantages as follows:

The two movable supports 31 of the two legs 30 are rotated toward the horizontal rod 10 inward so as to retract the two legs 30. The two movable supports 31 of the two legs 30 are rotated away from the horizontal rod 10 so as to be perpendicular to the horizontal rod 10, and the two screwing elements 60 are retained into the two locking grooves 12 of the horizontal rod 10 respectively, thus expanding the two legs quickly. Accordingly, the desk lifting structure facilitates expanding and retracting of the two legs 30 easily and quickly.

While various embodiments in accordance with the present invention have been shown and described, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. A desk lifting structure comprising:

a horizontal rod including two orifices defined adjacent to the two ends of the horizontal rod respectively, and the horizontal rod including two locking grooves formed among the two orifices and the two ends of the horizontal rod individually, wherein the two locking grooves have two engagement portions arranged on two upper ends thereof respectively, two openings defined on two lower ends of the two locking groove individually, and two guide portions defined among the two engagement portions and the two openings respectively;
an actuation rod located beside and being parallel to the horizontal rod, and the actuation rod including two movable joints arranged adjacent to the two ends of the actuation rod individually;
two legs being symmetrical and including two movable supports and two holders fixed on two lower ends of the two legs individually, the movable supports having two connection members arranged on two upper ends thereof individually, wherein the two legs are connected with two ends of the actuation rod respectively so as to drive the two movable supports of the two legs to lift synchronously, and the two connection members have two side plates individually, wherein the two side plates have two first fixing apertures and two second fixing apertures respectively, the two side plates contact with two ends of the horizontal rod individually, and two joining elements are inserted into the two orifices of the horizontal rod to screw with the two first fixing apertures of the two connection members of the two legs respectively so that the two legs rotatably expand and retract along the two joining elements relative to the horizontal rod;
wherein when the two legs expand or retract, the two movable joints of the actuation rod rotate with the two legs, and two screwing elements are screwed with the two second fixing apertures of the two connection members of the two legs individually, wherein when the two legs are rotated to be perpendicular to the horizontal rod, the two screwing elements are retained into the two locking grooves of the horizontal rod.

The desk lifting structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the horizontal rod includes a first connection component and two second connection components movably accommodated into two ends of the first connection component respectively so that the horizontal rod is movable; the actuation rod includes a first coupling part and two second coupling part movably accommodated in two ends of the actuation rod respectively so that the actuation rod is movable.

The desk lifting structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the two movable joints include two first positioning components and two second positioning components respectively, the two first positioning components have two first rotatable connecting portions extending from two ends of the two first positioning components respectively, the two second positioning components have two second rotatable connecting portions extending from two ends of the two second positioning components individually, and the two first rotatable connecting portions of the two first positioning components are rotatably connected with the two second rotatable connecting portions of the two second positioning components respectively.

4. The desk lifting structure as claimed in claim 1 further comprising two support racks locked on the two ends of the horizontal rod and the two upper ends of the two legs.
