A Rowing Machine, which includes a Main Bracket and a Cushion. The Main Bracket is equipped with a Slide Rail, the Cushion is slidably installed on the Slide Rail, and the Slide Rail is gradually bent upwards from front to back. Thereby, when the user uses the Rowing Machine, the Cushion can rise higher along the bent Slide Rail, which can more effectively enhance the user's exercise effect.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is a Rowing Machine.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

US Patent Publication No. 2018/0056117 discloses a Rowing Machine. FIG. 1A of the 2018/0056117 publication, it can be seen that the Rowing Machine includes a Rail Section 145 and a Resistance Mechanism 124, and the Resistance Mechanism 124 is located behind the Rowing Machine, wherein, the Resistance Mechanism 124 is located behind the Rail Section 145, and the Resistance Mechanism 124 is not located below the Rail Section 145. As a result, the overall Rowing Machine is relatively bulky and is not conducive to storage and transportation.

U.S. Pat. No. 7,108,639 also describes a Rowing Machine, which includes a Slide Rail 31 and a Lifting Unit 40, and the Lifting Unit 40 is connected to the Slide Rail 31 to adjust the angle of the Slide Rail 31.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

One of the objectives of the present invention is to improve various deficiencies in the prior art, and further propose a structure design of the Rowing Machine, which can provide users with better exercise effects.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a structural design of the Rowing Machine, which can be folded to reduce the overall volume of the Rowing Machine.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a structural design of the Rowing Machine, which makes the Power Grip not easy to fall from the bracket when it is folded.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a structure design of Rowing Machine, which can avoid the problem of disordered wiring.

For this reason, a Rowing Machine provided by the present invention includes a Main Bracket and a Cushion. The Main Bracket is provided with a Slide Rail, the Cushion is slidably installed on the Slide Rail, and the Slide Rail is gradually bent upwards from front to back.

Thereby, when the user uses the Rowing Machine, the Cushion can rise higher along the bent Slide Rail, which can more effectively enhance the user's exercise effect.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The following is a detailed description of the technical aspects and features of the invention by means of certain examples of embodiments and diagrams. The directional terms such as “up”, “down”, “inside”, “outside”, “top”, “bottom”, etc. referred to in this specification are illustrative descriptions based on the normal direction of use and are not intended to limit the scope of the claim.

Furthermore, as used in the singular form of the scope of the claims of the invention, the numerals “a”, “an” and “the” all include the meaning of “plurality”. Thus, for example, the description of “a component” refers to one or more components and includes equivalent replacements known to the person having ordinary knowledge in the art. All conjunctions used in similar circumstances shall also be construed in the broadest sense. The particular shape and structural features or technical terms described in the description shall likewise be construed as equivalent alternative structures or technical terms including the functions that can be achieved by the particular structure or technical term.

In order to illustrate in detail, the technical features of the invention, a number of embodiments, illustrated with diagrams, are given below. In order to illustrate the embodiments below, the following embodiments will be based on the orientation of the Rowing Machine with a Secondary Bracket 20 located in front of the Rowing Machine.

As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 9, the embodiments of the present invention provide a Rowing Machine 1, which includes a Main Bracket 10, a Secondary Bracket 20, a Power Grip 30, and a Resistance Device 40.

The Main Bracket 10 includes a Slide Rail 11 and a Base 12 which are connected as one piece. The Slide Rail 11 is located above Base 12. The Slide Rail 11 has a flat top surface and protruding Edge Portion 111 on both sides. There is an Accommodating Space 13 between the Slide Rail 11 and the Base 12. The Accommodating Space 13 is used for the Resistance Device 40 installation. As shown in FIG. 1, the back half of the Slide Rail 11 is directly above the Resistance Device 40. The Main Bracket 10 also has a set of Pedals 14 on both sides of the front half.

As seen in FIG. 1 and FIG. 9, a Cushion 50 is slidably arranged on the Slide Rail 11, and the Cushion 50 is structured with a Pad Body 51, a Mounting Bracket 52, two Upper Scroll Wheels 53 and Lower Scroll Wheels 54. The Mounting Brackets 52 are fixed to the bottom of the Pad Body 51 at intervals. There are two Upper Connecting Shafts 55 and two Lower Connecting Shafts 56 between the Mounting Brackets 52. The two sets of Upper Scroll Wheels 53 are respectively rotatably arranged on the two Upper Connecting Shafts 55. The set of Lower Scroll Wheels 54 are respectively rotatably arranged on the two Lower Connecting Shafts 56. As shown in FIG. 1, the Edge Portion 111 of the Slide Rail 11 is located between the Upper Scroll Wheel 53 and the Lower Scroll Wheel 54.

FIG. 2 illustrates that the Slide Rail 11 bends upwards gradually from front to back. The top surface of the Slide Rail 11 is a circular arc surface with a radius of curvature R. The radius of curvature R can be adjusted depending on the situation. In other possible situations, the top surface of the Slide Rail 11 may also be, for example, an elliptical surface or other forms of curved surfaces.

Since the Slide Rail 11 of this embodiment is gradually bent upwards from front to back, when the user pedals the set of Pedals 14 with both feet and holds the Power Grip 30 in his hand and is rowing, the user's buttocks along with the Cushion 50 will slide backward along the Slide Rail 11. When the user is in a sitting position, the height will gradually increase as the Cushion 50 slides backward. Compared with the Slide Rail 11 of the traditional Rowing Machine 1, which extends straight from front to back, the Cushion 50 of this embodiment can rise higher along the curved Slide Rail 11. Therefore, the user's own weight to be loaded by the legs will be greater, which generates a higher weight load on the user's legs, and enhances the user's exercise and fitness effects.

The invention also provides a folding mechanism of the Rowing Machine 1, as seen in FIG. 10 to FIG. 15.

Initially, as seen in FIG. 13, the Secondary Bracket 20 is located on a front end of the Main Bracket 10. The Secondary Bracket 20 includes a Secondary Bracket Body 21 and a Rotating Shaft 22. One end of the Rotating Shaft 22 is fixed to the Secondary Bracket Body 21, and the opposite end of the Rotating Shaft 22 is pivotally connected to the front end of the Main Bracket 10 (see FIG. 15), so that the Secondary Bracket 20 can be pivoted between an unfolded position (as FIG. 13) and a folded position (as FIG. 14) about the Rotating Shaft 22. The Rotating Shaft 22 is made of strong materials (such as metal, high density plastic, carbon fibers, etc.). The front end of the Main Bracket 10 also has a Stopper 15. The Stopper 15 is also made of solid material, which can be metal, plastic, rubber, carbon fibers, etc., so that when the Secondary Bracket 20 pivots to the folded position, the middle section of the Rotating Shaft 22 abuts the Stopper 15 of the Main Bracket 10 and is stopped by the Stopper 15, which makes the Secondary Bracket 20 unable to further pivot towards the Main Bracket 10.

FIG. 10 to FIG. 12 show that the bottom of the front end of the Main Bracket 10 is provided with a Screw Lock Seat 16, the Screw Lock Seat 16 is provided with a screw hole (hidden at the end of the locking bolt), and a Fixing Bolt 17 is attached to the screw hole. The Fixing Bolt 17 has a screw part (see FIG. 12) and a Pressing Part 19 connected to the screw part. The Secondary Bracket 20 has a Fastener 23 at the bottom. The Fastener 23 has two Fastening Parts 232 and an Opening 231 in the center. The above two Fastening Parts 232 are respectively located on the two sides of the Opening 231 and extend toward the Main Bracket 10, where the Opening 231 is provided for the Fixing Bolt 17 to pass through. When the Secondary Bracket 20 is in the unfolded position, the Fastener 23 abuts the Screw Lock Seat 16. The screw part of the Fixing Bolt 17 passes through the Opening 231 of the Fastener 23 and is screwed to the screw hole of the Screw Lock Seat 16. The Pressing Part 19 abuts the Fastener 23 and presses the Fastener 23, so that the Secondary Bracket 20 and the Main Bracket 10 can be combined with Fastener 23, Screw Lock Seat 16 and Fixing Bolt 17.

When the user needs to fold the Rowing Machine 1 by pivoting the Secondary Bracket 20 from the unfolded position to the folded position, the user can first loosen the Fixing Bolt 17, so that the Pressing Part 19 of the Fixing Bolt 17 is no longer tightly fixed on the Fastener 23. After that, the user can hold the Secondary Bracket 20 and pivot the Secondary Bracket 20 to the folded position. At this time, the middle section of the Rotating Shaft 22 is stopped by the Stopper 15. In this way, the overall volume of the Rowing Machine 1 and the volume during transportation can be reduced, and the user can fold the Rowing Machine 1 when the Rowing Machine 1 is not used to save space.

The invention also provides a grip fixing mechanism of the Rowing Machine 1, as seen in FIG. 16 and FIG. 17. The Power Grip 30 can be held by the user for exercise, so as to achieve the effect of exercise and fitness. As shown in FIG. 16, there is a Fixing Slot 31 at the bottom of the Power Grip 30, and a First Magnetic Part 32 is arranged in the Fixing Slot 31. In this embodiment, the First Magnetic Part 32 is a piece of iron or other magnetizable material. The Secondary Bracket 20 also has a Convex Portion 24. The size of the Convex Portion 24 corresponds to the size of the Fixing Slot 31, and the configuration of the Convex Portion 24 is complementary to the Fixing Slot 31 of the Power Grip 30, so that the Power Grip 30 can be integrated with the convex portion 24 of the Secondary Bracket 20 through the Fixing Slot 31. The convex portion 24 of the Secondary Bracket 20 is provided with a Second Magnetic Part 241. In this embodiment, the Second Magnetic Part 241 is a magnet. The Second Magnetic Part 241 can magnetically attract the First Magnetic Part 32, so that the Power Grip 30 is more firmly combined with the Convex Portion 24 of the Secondary Bracket 20.

Through the design of the grip fixing mechanism of the embodiment, when the user wants to fold the Rowing Machine 1, because the Power Grip 30 is integrated with the Secondary Bracket 20 through its Fixing Slot 31, and the First Magnetic Part 32 of the Fixing Slot 31 is attracted by the Secondary Magnetic Part 241 of the Secondary Bracket 20, so that the Power Grip 30 can be firmly combined with the Fixing Slot 31, and in the process of bending the Secondary Bracket 20, the Power Grip 30 does not easily separate from the Secondary Bracket 20, therefore, the user can fold the Power Grip 30 relatively conveniently and easily, and can prevent the Power Grip 30 from being damaged by accidentally falling during the folding process.

In order to further effectively reduce the overall volume of Rowing Machine 1, the embodiment also sets Resistance Device 40 under Slide Rail 11, as seen in FIG. 1, FIG. 18 to FIG. 20.

FIG. 20 illustrates that the entire Resistance Device 40 is a modular design, and the Resistance Device 40 is located directly below the second half of the Slide Rail 11.

As shown in FIG. 18, the Resistance Device 40 includes a Housing 41, a Driving Wheel 42, a Driven Wheel 43, a Magnetoresistor 44 and an Outer Cover 47. The Driving Wheel 42 includes a Takeup Reel 421 and a Pull Reel 422 (FIG. 20) with coaxial settings. The Power Grip 30 is connected to a First Drawstring 45. The First Drawstring 45 is connected to the Takeup Reel 421 through internal wiring. The Pull Reel 422, for example, is connected to the Driven Wheel 43 by a belt, so when the user pulls the Power Grip 30, the First Drawstring 45 drives the Driving Wheel 42 and the Driven Wheel 43 to rotate.

The Secondary Bracket 20 also has a Resistance Adjustment Button 25. The Resistance Adjustment Button 25 is connected to a Second Drawstring 46. The Second Drawstring 46 is connected to the Magnetoresistor 44 through internal wiring, so as to control the Magnetoresistor 44 to move closer to or away from the Driven Wheel 43, to form a magnetic resistance to the Driven Wheel 43.

The traditional the Rowing Machine 1 sets the Resistance Device 40 in the first half of the Rowing Machine 1. In contrast, the embodiment of this invention changes the position of the Resistance Device 40 to the second half of the Rowing Machine 1 and is installed under the Slide Rail 11 to further reduce the overall volume of the Rowing Machine 1. Finally, it must be stated again that the methods and components disclosed in the aforementioned embodiments are for illustrative purposes only, and are not intended to limit the patentability of the invention. Any simple structural modifications or changes made without going beyond the spirit of the present invention, or replacement with other equivalent components, shall still fall within the scope of the patent application of the present invention.

Claims

1. A rowing machine, comprising:

a main bracket and a cushion, said main bracket comprising a slide rail, said cushion being slidably installed on said slide rail,
wherein said slide rail is bent upwards from front to back.

2. The rowing machine according to claim 1, wherein said slide rail has a top surface having a circular arc.

3. A rowing machine, comprising:

a main bracket;
a secondary bracket with one end thereof pivotally connected to said main bracket, said secondary bracket comprising a convex portion;
a power grip configured to be held during an exercise, said power grip comprising a fixing slot, wherein a size of said fixing slot corresponds to said convex portion, and a configuration of said fixing slot is complementary to said convex portion;
wherein said fixing slot comprises a first magnetic part, and said power grip comprises a second magnetic part adapted to magnetically attract said first magnetic part.

4. The rowing machine according to claim 3, wherein said first magnetic part comprises iron, and said second magnetic part is a magnet.

5. A folding mechanism for a rowing machine, comprising:

a main bracket comprising a stopper located at a front end thereof and a screw lock seat at a bottom side thereof, said screw lock seat being provided with a fixing bolt;
a secondary bracket pivotally connected to the front end of said main bracket, said secondary bracket comprising a fastener provided at a bottom side thereof, said fastener comprising an opening for passing of said fixing bolt;
wherein, said secondary bracket is pivotable between an unfolded position where said fastener abuts against said screw lock seat and said fixing bolt tightens said fastener and a folded position where said secondary bracket abuts against said stopper.

6. A rowing machine, comprising:

a main bracket,
a cushion, and
a resistance device,
said main bracket being provided with a slide rail, said slide rail having a front end and an opposite rear end, said cushion being slidably arranged on said slide rail, and said resistance device being installed under said slide rail and adjacent to the rear end of said slide rail.
