PROTECTION COVER FOR COSMETIC BRUSH AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

A protection cover for a cosmetic brush and a method of manufacturing the protection cover are disclosed. The protection cover for a cosmetic brush of the present disclosure includes: a cover body coupled to a cosmetic brush to cover brush hairs; and a plurality of wrinkles formed on the cover body and configured to guide expiation and contraction of the cover body, in which the cover body and the wrinkles are made of a paper material.

CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

The present application claims priority to Korean Patent Application Nos. 10-2021-0069429, filed on May 28, 2021 and 10-2022-0057940 filed on May 11, 2022, the entire contents of which is incorporated herein for all purposes by this reference.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention

The present disclosure relates to a protection cover for a cosmetic brush and, more particularly to a protection cover for a cosmetic brush that can protect brush hairs of a cosmetic brush by covering the brush hairs, and a method of manufacturing the protection cover.

Description of the Related Art

In general, cosmetics that are used for makeup are usually liquid, solid, and a mixture of liquid and solid. Brushes having various shapes or sizes have been developed and used to put solid-state cosmetics on a face.

That is, such brushes are configured to put a cosmetic made of a solid powder on the brush part thereof and appropriately apply the cosmetic on a face, etc. Such brushes are composed of a grip that a user can hold with a hand and a brush part made of a plurality of hairs and formed at the end of the grip.

Various brushes are kept in pouches for makeup and are exposed to the outside without a specific cover for protecting the brush, so the brushes are contaminated.

If a cap such as a case is used to sanitarily keep a brush, the volume increases, so it is inconvenient to carry the brush. Further, it is required to separate the case every time to use the brush and the brush and the case are separate while the brush is used, so there is a possibility of loss of the case. Accordingly, measures for removing this problem are required.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

There are some brush protection covers that can deform to correspond to the shapes of brush hairs. A paper material that is not elastic could not be used for brush protection covers of the related art.

Accordingly, an objective of the present disclosure is to provide a protection cover for a cosmetic brush that can protect brush hairs of the cosmetic brush by covering the brush hairs and that can deform to correspond to the shape of the brush hairs using a paper material.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there may be provided a protection cover for a cosmetic brush that includes: a cover body coupled to a cosmetic brush to cover brush hairs; and a plurality of wrinkles formed on the cover body and configured to guide expiation and contraction of the cover body, in which the cover body and the wrinkles are made of a paper material.

The protection cover may further include a plurality of patterns formed on the cover body.

The patterns may be formed throughout the cover body and may have a wave shape.

The patterns each may have: a first curved portion curved in a longitudinal direction of the cover body; a second curved portion curved in the longitudinal direction of the cover body and spaced apart from the first curved portion at a center portion thereof; a first contact point at which an end of the first curved portion and an end of the second curved portion are in contact with each other; and a second contact point at which another end of the first curved portion and another end of the second curved portion are in contact with each other.

According to another aspect of the present disclosure, there may be provided a method of manufacturing protection cover for a cosmetic brush that includes: forming wrinkles on a cover body made of a material including paper; and connecting both edges of the cover body having the wrinkles into a shape corresponding to an external shape of a brush member.

A region with a deepest wrinkle of the wrinkles may be selected as a reference point for yielding point recovery when both edges of the cover body are connected.

Both edge of the cover body may be connected by an adhesive, the method may further include pressing regions to which the adhesive is applied of the cover body, and a pressing time may be determined in the pressing, based on the region with the deepest wrinkle of the wrinkles.

According to embodiments of the present disclosure, since it is possible to cover brush hairs with a protection cover for a cosmetic brush that is made of a paper material, it is possible to protect brush hairs from the external environment, and accordingly, it is possible to sanitation of the brush hairs.

Further, since the protection cover is made of a paper material and has elasticity, the protection cover can be widely applied to brush hairs with various sizes.

Further, according to the embodiment, since it is possible to use a paper material for the protection cover for a cosmetic brush, the protection cover can be advantageous in terms of eco-friendliness in comparison to other materials.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 is a view schematically showing a protection cover for a cosmetic brush according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, FIG. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a right side view of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 is a view schematically showing a use state of the embodiment in which the embodiment is coupled to brush hairs, and FIG. 5 is a view schematically showing a use state of the embodiment in which the embodiment expends to correspond to the size of brush hairs.

As shown in the figures, a protection cover 1 for a cosmetic brush according to the embodiment includes a cover body 10 coupled to a cosmetic brush 100 to cover brush hairs 130, wrinkles 20 formed on the cover body 10 and guides expansion and contraction of the cover body 10, and patterns 30 formed on the outer side of the cover body 10.

The cover body 10, as shown in FIG. 1, may have a hollow cylindrical shape.

In the embodiment, the cover body 10, as shown in FIG. 1, may have a constant inner diameter from an end to another end. In the embodiment, the cover body 10 may be formed in a trapezoidal shape of which the upper side and the lower side are different in length in a cross-section.

In the embodiment, the cover body 10 may be made of an elastic material to be able to expend to correspond to the sizes of the brush hairs 130 and a metal part 120, as shown in FIG. 5. In the embodiment, the cover body 10 may be made of a material including paper. When the cover body 10 is made of a material including paper, as in the embodiment, the paper can be recycled and has only to be burned when it is not required to recycle the paper, so the cover body 10 is an eco-friendly product.

In the embodiment, the cover body 10, as shown in FIG. 5, may be configured such that an end portion covers the metal part 120 of the cosmetic brush 100. The cosmetic brush 100 to which the embodiment is applied, as shown in FIG. 5, may have a grip 110 to which a side of the metal part 120 is coupled and brush hairs 130 coupled to another side of the metal part 120.

The wrinkles 20, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, are formed on the cover body 10 and can guide expansion and contraction of the cover body 10.

In the embodiment, the wrinkles 20, as shown in FIG. 3, may be formed on the inner side of the cover body 10.

In the embodiment, the wrinkles 20 may be composed of pluralities of projections 21 and grooves 22, and the projections 21 and the grooves 22 may be continuously or discontinuously formed.

In the embodiment, the projections 21 and the grooves 22 may be formed with regular intervals.

The patterns 30, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, may be formed on the outer side of the cover body 10.

In the embodiment, the patterns 30 may have various shapes well know in the art other than the wave shape shown in FIG. 1.

In the embodiment, the patterns 30 may be formed in the process of forming the wrinkled part 20 or may expand from the wrinkled part.

In the embodiment, as shown in the exploded view of FIG. 2, the patterns 30 each have; a first curved portion 31 curved in the longitudinal direction of the cover body 10; a second curved portion 32 curved in the longitudinal direction of the cover body 10 and spaced apart from the first curved portion 31 at the center portion; a first contact point 33 at which the left end of the first curved portion 31 and an end of the second curved portion 32 are in contact with each other; and a second contact point 34 at which the right end of the first curved portion 31 and the right end of the second curved portion 32 are in contact with each other. The patterns 30 having this configuration may have various shapes including a wave shape.

In the embodiment, the patterns 30 protrude from the inner side to the outer side of the cover body 10, whereby it is possible to elasticity of the paper material in cooperation with the wrinkles.

Meanwhile, a method of manufacturing the protection cover for a cosmetic brush according to the embodiment may include: forming the wrinkles 20 on the cover body 10 made of a material including paper; and connecting both edges of the cover body 10 having the wrinkles 20 into a shape corresponding to the external shapes of brush hairs 130.

The embodiment has the region with the deepest wrinkle of the wrinkles 20 as a reference point for yielding point recovery when both edges of the cover body 10 are connected so that even the deepest wrinkle can be smoothly recovered.

Both edges of the cover body 10 are connected by an adhesive in the embodiment and the method may further include pressing the regions to which the adhesive is applied of the cover body 10.

In the embodiment, the pressing time may be determined in the pressing on the basis of the region with the deepest wrinkle of the wrinkles 20. When the pressing time is determined on the basis of the deepest wrinkle, it is possible to secure hardening time of the adhesive at the deepest region, so precision can be improved.

In the embodiment, the shape of the pattern 30 may be considered in the process described above. That is, the yielding point or the depth of the patterns 30 in pressing may also be considered when the regions where the patterns 30 and the wrinkles 20 are both formed are connected.

As described above, since a brush protection cover that is made of paper has elasticity, the embodiment can be widely applied to brush hairs having various sizes. Accordingly, it is possible to protect brush hairs from an external environment and sanitarily manage the brush hairs like protection covers for a cosmetic brush using other materials in the related art.

The present disclosure is not limited to the embodiment described above and it is apparent to those skilled in the art that the present disclosure may be changed and modified in various ways without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure. Accordingly, it should be noted that such changes and modifications are included in claims of the present disclosure.

Claims

1. A protection cover for a cosmetic brush, the protection cover comprising:

a cover body coupled to a cosmetic brush to cover brush hairs; and
a plurality of wrinkles formed on the cover body and configured to guide expiation and contraction of the cover body,
wherein the cover body and the wrinkles are made of a paper material.

2. The protection cover of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of patterns formed on the cover body.

3. The protection cover of claim 1, wherein the patterns are formed throughout the cover body and have a wave shape.

4. The protection cover of claim 3, wherein the patterns each have:

a first curved portion curved in a longitudinal direction of the cover body;
a second curved portion curved in the longitudinal direction of the cover body and spaced apart from the first curved portion at a center portion thereof;
a first contact point at which an end of the first curved portion and an end of the second curved portion are in contact with each other; and
a second contact point at which another end of the first curved portion and another end of the second curved portion are in contact with each other.

5. A method of manufacturing protection cover for a cosmetic brush, the method comprising:

forming wrinkles on a cover body made of a material including paper; and
connecting both edges of the cover body having the wrinkles into a shape corresponding to an external shape of a brush member.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein a region with a deepest wrinkle of the wrinkles is selected as a reference point for yielding point recovery when both edges of the cover body are connected.

7. The method of claim 5, wherein both edges of the cover body are connected by an adhesive,

the method further comprises pressing regions to which the adhesive is applied of the cover body, and
a pressing time is determined in the pressing, based on the region with the deepest wrinkle of the wrinkles.
