Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present disclosure relates to a rolling toy set, and more particularly, to a tooth-meshing rolling toy set including at least one rolling member that can roll on a carrier structure in different manners through meshing of teeth provided on the roll member and the carrier structure.

2. Description of the Related Art

In a currently available three-dimensional (3D) railroad toy set, players assemble a plurality of tracks together to build a railroad and put toy trains on the railroad. Since the tracks of the 3D railroad toy set can only be assembled in very limited manners, the players tend to lose their interest in playing the toy set after a period of time. In addition, the players have to expend a lot of time to assemble the tracks before they can play the 3D railroad and trains. Further, in case any one of the tracks is damaged, it is possible the entire structure of the 3D railroad toy set becomes a useless junk.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

To facilitate understanding of the objects, characteristics and effects of this present disclosure, embodiments together with the attached drawings for the detailed description of the present disclosure are provided. It is noted the present disclosure can be implemented or applied in other embodiments, and many changes and modifications in the described embodiments can be carried out without departing from the spirit of the disclosure, and it is also understood that the preferred embodiments are only illustrative and not intended to limit the present disclosure in any way.

Please refer to FIG. 1. A tooth-meshing rolling toy set 1 according to a preferred embodiment includes at least one curved carrier member 10 and at least one rolling member 11. Every curved carrier member 10 has a first surface 101 and a second surface opposite to the first surface 101. Both of the first and the second surface 101, 102 are provided with a toothed structure T having a plurality of teeth. Every rolling member 11 includes a rolling body 110 having a peripheral surface 111. The peripheral surface 111 extends around the rolling body 110 to define a closed geometric loop having a curved surface. The peripheral surface 111 is also provided with a toothed structure T having a plurality of teeth that can mesh with the teeth of the toothed structure T of the curved carrier member 10. Through meshing of the teeth of the toothed structures T on the two members with one another, the at least one rolling member 11 can roll on the first surface 101 or the second surface 102 of the at least one curved carrier member.

Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 8. The rolling member 11 in different embodiments can be differently sized and differently shaped. For example, the rolling members 11 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 have substantially the same shape but are differently sized; the rolling members 11 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 all have a droplet-shaped peripheral surface 111 but are differently sized; the rolling members 11 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 all have a round peripheral surface 111 but are differently sized; and the rolling members shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 all have a substantially rounded-angled triangle-shaped peripheral surface 111 but are differently sized. It is understood the present disclosure is not particularly limited to the above examples.

Please refer to FIGS. 1 and 9. In the preferred embodiment, the curved carrier member 10 is provided at two opposite ends between the first surface 101 and the second surface 102 with a first engaging section 103 and a second engaging section 104. The second engaging section 104 is complementary corresponding to the first engaging section 103 in shape, such that a plurality of curved carrier members 10 can be serially connected together to form a carrier structure 100 through engagement of the second engaging section 104 of one curved carrier member 10 with the first engaging section 103 of another curved carrier member 10. The rolling member 11 rolls on the carrier structure 100 through meshing of the teeth in its tooth structure T with the teeth of the tooth structure T of the carrier structure 100. The first engaging section 103 can be non-restrictively configured as a slide ridge and the second engaging section 104 can be non-restrictively correspondingly configured a slide slot. Further, the curved carrier member 10 is elastic and includes a plurality of serially arranged through slots 105 to enable an increased flexibility of the curved carrier member 10. Taking advantage of the elasticity of the curved carrier member 10, the first engaging section 103 can be directly inserted into the second engaging section 104 of another curved carrier member 10 to thereby assemble a plurality of curved carrier members 10 to one another. Please refer to FIG. 9. In the preferred embodiment, the carrier structure 100 formed of the assembled curved carrier members 10 non-restrictively includes a plurality of curves bent in different directions. Also, in the case of having a plurality of the rolling members 11, the rolling members 11 that are not in use can be stacked below an end of the carrier structure 100 to raise the end to a relatively higher position. Further, the currier structure 100 can include different widths at different curved carrier members 10.

Please refer to FIG. 10. In another operable embodiment, the carrier structure 100 has an overall configuration like a hook structure, such that the rolling member 11 can roll along the carrier structure 100 like a roller coaster.

Please refer to FIG. 11. In another operable embodiment, the carrier structure 100 includes a plurality of curved carrier structures 10 bent in different directions and curvatures to thereby have a wavy overall configuration, which allows the rolling member to roll on the carrier structure 100 in different manners.

Please refer to FIG. 12. In a further operable embodiment, the carrier structure 100 has an overall configuration as a circle. A plurality of rolling members 11 can roll on an inner side of the carrier structure 100 through teeth meshing. Alternatively, in this embodiment, it is also possible to have only one rolling member 11 rolling on the inner side of the carrier structure 100.

According to the above description, the tooth-meshing rolling toy set of the present disclosure allows unlimited manners of combining the curved carrier members 10 and the rolling members 11 to be highly entertaining. In the event some of the curved carrier members 10 or the rolling members 11 are damaged, the remaining curved carrier members 10 or rolling members 11 can still be used to form other differently shaped carrier structures 100 for playing. Therefore, the tooth-meshing rolling toy set of the present disclosure is highly durable for use. Beside, since the curved carrier members 10 are elastic, they can be conveniently and quickly assembled to form the carrier structure 100.

While the present disclosure has been described by means of different specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the present disclosure set forth in the claims.
