Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The invention relates to cosmetic containers and more particularly to a paper container for cosmetic products.

2. Description of Related Art

For decreasing pollution to the environment, some manufactures have alternated the material of making cosmetic containers from plastic to paper. In a conventional paper container for cosmetic products, magnets are provided on a cover or a receptacle. Thus, the container can be securely closed due to magnetic attraction. However, the magnets are secured or embedded on the container and uneasy to remove for recycling. As a result, recycling can be a problem.

An improvement has been made accordingly, a paper cosmetic container including a cover made of cardboard, a flap and a receiving member made of paper. The cover includes an upper lid, a lower base and an intermediate section hingedly combining the upper lid and the lower base. The receiving member has at least one receptacle. An end of the receiving member is provided with a groove receiving the flap. Thus, by inserting or removing the flap from the groove, the container is open or closed. The cosmetic container is wholly made by paper, without a mirror or using magnets. It can easily be recycled and environmentally friendly.

However, the container is not provided with a mirror, so may be inconvenient to the user.

Thus, the need for improvement still exists.

It is therefore one object of the invention to provide a paper container for cosmetic products, comprising: a casing including a cover made of paper, the cover including a top, a base, and an intermediate section hingedly interconnected to the top and the base; a mirror receiving member nested on an inner surface of the top, wherein the mirror receiving member includes a closed end and an open end opposite from the closed end, forming a space inside the mirror receiving member, two notches respectively positioned on the open end and the closed end; a bottom tray disposed on the base; wherein a groove is disposed on a first surface of the bottom tray adjacent the base and on an end of the bottom tray distal the intermediate section; at least one cosmetic receptacle disposed on a second surface of the bottom tray adjacent the mirror receiving member; wherein afirst through hole is disposed through a bottom of the at least one cosmetic receptacle, at least one second through hole is disposed on the base correspondent to and communicating the first through hole; a mirror removably disposed in the space of the mirror receiving member; and an elastic band including a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being connected to the second portion; wherein the first portion is nested on the groove of the bottom tray, and the second portion is wrapped around outer surfaces of the top, the mirror receiving member and the bottom tray.

The invention has the following advantages and benefits in comparison with the conventional art:

It is easy to recycle and environmentally friendly.

The mirror is removable from the mirror receiving member, instead of using adhesives to attach the mirror to the mirror receiving member. As a result, pollution to the environment is reduced. When cosmetics are consumed, individuals can place their fingers at the notches and remove the mirror to recycle. Furthermore, the cover is wholly made of paper, instead of plastic materials, which is more environmentally friendly.

It can be reused.

A cosmetic box can be releasably disposed in the cosmetic receptacle. The individual may push through the second through hole from the base and pass through the first through hole to push the cosmetic box upwards and easily remove the cosmetic box out of the cosmetic receptacle. After use, the individual may place another cosmetic box in the cosmetic receptacle again. Besides reusing the paper cover, the cosmetic box can be recycled for environmental protection purposes.

The above and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 3, a paper container 100 for cosmetic products (hereinafter “cosmetic container”) comprises the following:

    • A casing 10 including a cover 11 made of paper, the cover 11 including a top 12, a base 14, and an intermediate section 13 hingedly interconnected to the top 12 and the base 14. A mirror receiving member 15 nested on an inner surface of the top 12. The mirror receiving member 15 includes a closed end 151 and an open end 152 opposite from the closed end 151, forming a space 153 inside the mirror receiving member 15. Two notches 154 respectively positioned on the open end 152 and the closed end 151. An opening 155 is disposed through a middle of the mirror receiving member 15. A sheet of paper 16 is attached to an inner surface of the intermediate section 13. The sheet of paper 16 covers folding lines or bonding lines of the inner surface of the intermediate section 13 of the cover 11, providing the cosmetic container a better appearance. Furthermore, a bottom tray 17 is disposed on the base 14, wherein a groove 171 is disposed on a first surface of the bottom tray 17 adjacent the base 14 and on an end of the bottom tray 17 distal the intermediate section 13. At least one cosmetic receptacle 172 is disposed on a second surface of the bottom tray 17 adjacent the mirror receiving member 15, wherein a first through hole 173 is disposed through a bottom of the at least one cosmetic receptacle 172, at least one second through hole 141 is disposed on the base 14 correspondent to and communicating the first through hole 173.

A mirror 20 is removably disposed in the space 153 of the mirror receiving member 15. A bottom and an edge of the mirror 20 is wrapped by a paper frame 21 to avoid cutting an individual's finger when removing the mirror 20. A mirror surface 22 is formed at the opening 155.

Refer to FIG. 4, an elastic band 30 includes a first portion 31 and a second portion 32, the first portion 31 being connected to the second portion 32. The first portion 31 is nested on the groove 171 of the bottom tray 17, and the second portion 32 is wrapped around outer surfaces of the top 12, the mirror receiving member 15 and the bottom tray 17. When the cosmetic container is closed, the top 12 attaching the base 14, the mirror receiving member 15 and the bottom tray 17 are joined by the elastic band 30.

As shown in FIG. 5 and in conjunction with FIG. 3, the cosmetic receptacle 172 is configured to receive a cosmetic box 40. The cosmetic box 40 is made of plastic, metal or paper. After cosmetics are consumed, the individual may push through the second through hole 141 from the base 14 and pass the first through hole 173 to push the cosmetic box 40 upwards and easily remove the cosmetic box 40 out of the cosmetic receptacle 172. Besides reusing the cover 11, the cosmetic box 40 can be easily recycled.

It is envisaged by the invention that the mirror 20 is removable from the mirror receiving member 15, instead of using adhesives for joining the mirror 20 and the mirror receiving member 15. When cosmetics are consumed, the individuals can remove the mirror 20 by pulling or pushing from the notches 154 to recycle. Furthermore, the cover 11 is wholly made of paper, instead of plastic materials. In short, the cosmetic container is environmentally friendly.

Referring to FIG. 6 and in conjunction with FIG. 3, when the cosmetic box 40 is made of iron materials, at least one magnet 41 can be added for use. The magnet 41 is mounted on the cosmetic receptacle 172. The magnet 41 attracts the cosmetic receptacle 172. When cosmetics are consumed, individuals can push through the second through hole 141 from the base 14 and pass the first through hole 173 to push the magnet 41. The cosmetic box 40 can be easily removed from the cosmetic receptacle 172, which is really convenient.

Referring to FIGS. 7 to 9, a second preferred embodiment is shown. The difference between the first embodiment and the second embodiment is that a cosmetic plate 50 is mounted on the cosmetic receptacle 172. At least one recess 51 is disposed on an outer surface of the cosmetic plate 50 adjacent the mirror receiving member 15, and apit 52 is disposed through the at least one recess 51. When cosmetics are consumed, individuals can push through the second through hole 141 and the first through hole 173, urging the cosmetic plate 50 to depart from the cosmetic receptacle 172. Then, push through the pit 52 of the cosmetic plate 50 to remove the cosmetic box 40. The cosmetic box 40 can be easily removed from the recess 51.
