FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the desktop ambient light in an alternate configuration of use, in which the base is installed in the middle portion of the desktop ambient light.

Any shading or hatching is not a feature of the design but is utilized to illustrate the surface contours of the desktop ambient light in the drawings.
