FIG. 1 is a top plan view of a pattern for absorbent articles showing our new design; and,

FIG. 2 is a top plan view of the pattern shown applied to an alternative absorbent article.

In the drawings, the broken lines define the boundaries of the claimed pattern as well as the boundaries of the article to which the pattern is applied, and form no part of the claim.

Disposable absorbent articles can vary in their respective shape and appearance considerably. For the present application only sanitary napkins have been exemplified in the figures. However, the use of the pattern according to the figures is also useful in the context of other shapes known for disposable absorbent articles, such as light incontinence products, sanitary napkins, catamenials, pantiliners, and other absorbent articles such as tissues or towels, disposable absorbent diapers or disposable incontinence products.
