FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the patient transfer rod used in transferring a patient from a first horizontal surface to a second horizontal surface;

FIG. 2 is another perspective view thereof; and,

FIG. 3 is another perspective view of the patient transfer rod of FIG. 1 in a storage configuration.
