FIG. 1 is a top plan view of a measuring tape with fractional markings for a tape measure showing my new design on a curved tape.

FIG. 2 is a front elevational view thereof, the rear elevational view being identical.

FIG. 3 is a left side elevational view thereof, the right side elevational view being identical.

FIG. 4 is similar to FIG. 1, but showing another section of the tape.

FIG. 5 is a top perspective view of the tape shown in FIG. 4.

FIG. 6 is similar to FIG. 1, but showing another embodiment of the invention applied to a flat tape.

FIG. 7 is a front elevational view thereof, the rear elevational view being identical.

The remaining views are not ornamental.

The characteristic feature of my invention resides in the representation of the fractions on a measuring tape for a tape measure, and their arrangements relative to their associated fractional line markers. The broken lines in the figures represent indefinite length. The solid black shaded areas shown on the measuring tape with fractional markings for a tape measure are used to represent the colour black.
