The user interface for a computer display is useful for operating a vehicle. The user interface for a computer display provides a visual screen display to control operations associated with vehicle systems. such as, but not limited to, engine control, climate control, an integrated cellular phone system, a sound system (radio), a global positioning system (GPS), a video entertainment center (such as a DVD player). The user interface for a computer display can display data such as, but not limited to vehicle speed, engine RPM, oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, vehicle maintenance reminders, climate control system settings, outside temperature, radio settings, integrated cellular phone settings, compass headings, video images, sound files, digital radio broadcasts, and navigational information.
The file of this patent contains at least one drawing executed in color. Copies of this patent with color drawings will be provided by the Patent and Trademark Office upon request and payment of the necessary fee.
The perimeters of the underlying computer display and the user interface are understood to be flush.
