Fluted drill

Description

FIG. 1 is a first side view of a fluted drill showing my new design. The narrow elongated solid black area represents color contrast, and can be any color, so long as it differs from the color of the surrounding peripheral surface shown by stippling and a broken line boundary.

FIG. 2 is a second side view of the fluted drill seen in FIG. 1, and is rotated 90°. The same color contrast in FIG. 1 is found on both peripheral surfaces of the fluted drill. The surface pattern has 180° rotational symmetry about a longitudinal axis of the fluted drill.

FIG. 3 shows a top view of the fluted drill of FIG. 1. The narrow elongated area cannot be seen in the top view; and,

FIG. 4 shows a bottom view of the fluted drill of FIG. 1. The narrow elongated area cannot be seen in the bottom view.

The shank and boundary of the fluted drill, including the cutting insert area at the top of the fluted drill in the attached figures, are shown in dashed lines for illustrative purposes only and form no part of the claimed design.
