The self-closing hooded cover for a string instrument is generally shown, wherein the open hooded cover comprises a shape which approximates a stringed instrument, which is self-closing and a unique design applied to the lower right quadrant of the front exterior surface as shown. The unique design is represented by the stylized trademark application HOODIE™ as set out in USPTO Trademark application Ser. No. 7,783,038.
