Description

FIG. 1 is a front view of jeans showing my new design; and,

FIG. 2 is a back view thereof.

The broken lines shown in the drawings are included for the purpose of illustrating environmental structure and form no part of the claimed design.

The features of the claimed design are a slimming wash pattern on the front and back of denim jeans which consists of a lighter value in the middle of the front and back of the legs all the way down to the hem while leaving the darker background color on the inside and outside of the legs on the front and back of the legs all the way down to the hem. The light and dark areas of the wash pattern create a slimming visual effect. The claimed design includes a small whisker pattern which is placed above the natural leg break and is narrower in width than a natural whisker pattern: this creates a visual effect of narrower hips and longer legs.

Jeans normally have wash patterns which deliberately recreate a worn look based on natural wear patterns-- creases at the leg break, worn front thigh area to below the knee and worn buttocks area and upper back thigh area. However, the claimed design takes advantage of the light and dark values created naturally by the abrading of denim through wear but uses the contrast to create a new shape and placement of the wash pattern in order to create a total visual illusion of slimmer and longer legs and narrower hips.

Claims
