A base plate for attachment to a piece of furniture is adjustably connected to a hinge arm, and a pivot bearing is constructed on the free end of the hinge arm, whereby the inclination of the hinge arm is adjustable relative to the base plate by two fixing screws, each of which is capable of being screwed in to the furniture sidewall through holes in both the hinge arm and the base plate, thus restraining the base plate on the furniture sidewall. A pivot bearing formed by a lug bent up from the base plate embraces the free end of the hinge arm. Cams project from both sides of the base plate side faces in the region of the inclination adjusting screw.

The head is moved back and forth along a floor joist to impact the seating member and drive the panel into a seated position by an elongated handle extending upwardly and rearwardly at an incline from the head. The handle is long enough to permit a workman to straddle a previously installed panel and the panel being installed while driving the latter panel into a fully seated position. Removing or installing the continuous loop flexible track by conventional methods is very difficult because of its weight and flexibility. The first and second ends are supported by at least one beam attached thereto in a manner to adjustably set the track support snug with the flexible track loop. Several retainers with hooks and fasteners secure the track to the support. Thereby the flexible track is held in an oval shape when being removed or installed on the vehicle similar to the shape it is when on the vehicle.

    Abstract: First and second separately actuatable triggers are mounted to a housing which carries a hollow needle through which a fastener is dispensed. The needle is mounted to the housing for movement between original and extended positions. The article to be tagged is situated adjacent the front of the housing. When the first trigger is depressed, a tag is moved from a stack on the housing into alignment with the needle as the needle is moved forward to pierce the tag and article. Also, a fastener is fed into the needle. When the second trigger is depressed, the fastener is moved through the needle such that the T-bar end is situated behind the article and the needle retracts to its original position. The apparatus is pulled away from the article, leaving the tag affixed by the fastener. The apparatus is light-weight, easily manipulatable, and can be operated by a single hand.

    Abstract: A system for accepting conventional wire in bulk form, cutting the wire into predetermined lengths and preparing the ends of the wire for use in conventional wire harnesses is disclosed. As each section of wire is measured and cut, it is stored in individual containers and the ends of each section is secured by a clamp. A transport system sequentially transports the stored wires to workstations where conventional wire preparation tasks such as stripping, marking and attachment of terminals are performed. After all wire preparation functions have been performed, the individual wires are removed from their containers and utilized in forming wire harnesses.

For single crystal silicon substrates, oxygen and nitrogen are the preferred ions for use in forming the buried dielectric region. The conductive gate must be sufficiently thick so as to preclude the implanted oxygen or nitrogen ions from reaching the underlying gate dielectric or the portion of and channel region of the device will be substantially free the substrate beneath the gate. This ensures that the gate and channel region of the device will be substantially free of the implant damage which otherwise occurs during formation of the buried dielectric regions. Dielectric isolation walls are conveniently provided laterally exterior to the source-drain regions.

A mask is applied to the surface of the printed circuit board parallel to the electrical conductor path and on each side of the electrical interruption adjacent the cleaned area to provide a channel which includes the electrical interruption along a portion of the electrical conductor path. At least one coat of an electrically conductive paint is applied within and along the channel to conductively connect the electrical conductor path interruption. The applied electrically conductive paint is allowed to harden.

    Abstract: A braking arrangement for a motor-driven chain saw is disclosed. The braking arrangement is actuable by a releasing device and is held in the release position against a spring force by means of a latching device. The braking arrangement includes a brake band holding member to which a brake band is fastened. The brake band can be tightened around a clutch drum of the motor-driven chain saw by means of an ancillary chain brake device provided in addition to the chain brake device, so that the clutch drum is brought to an immediate stop. This braking action occurs also if the releasing device of the chain brake device is not actuated. In this way, the chain brake device remains activated thereby enabling it to act during operation of the chain saw, for example, in the event that the motor-driven chain saw kicks back while the saw chain is running.
