  • Patent number: 6237177
Abstract: The apparatus includes a water tight vehicular body of a low profile. A user controls the vehicle from a forward cockpit. The cleaning apparatus further includes both forward and rearward booms. The forward boom has a slurry trap interconnected to its forward extent. Additionally, a brush is secured to the rearward boom. Both the booms can be elevated and lowered to selectively bring the trap and brush into contact with the ground. Thus, the cleaning apparatus is adapted to be driven into the interior of a drain pipe. Thereafter, the booms are lowered such that the trap and bush come into contact with the surface to be cleaned. The vehicle can then be driven rearwardly. During the rearward travel, the brush serves to agitate floor contaminates into a slurry. Further rearward travel causes the slurry to become contained within the trap. Through this method, floor contaminates can be removed from an enclosed region such as a storm drain.

  • Patent number: 6237209
Abstract: The invention features utilization of a duplicate form for creating a conformal cavity which equally mates with an original form having the same shape as the duplicate form. The duplicate form is situated in the wall from the inside of the wall, elastomer is cured onto the outside of wall and around the duplicate form, the duplicate form is removed, and the original form is situated in place of the duplicate form. The shape of the hole in the wall is not in strict conformity with the shape of the duplicate form and the original form, but rather is characterized by a small aberration which leaves a space when either the duplicate form or the original form is situated in the hole. This small aberration, together with the elastomeric quality of the cured material, permits ingressive venting during removal of the duplicate form and egressive venting during insertion of the original form. In typical inventive practice, the manipulative steps are performed from the inside of the wall.

  • Patent number: 6237211
Abstract: A hidden storage system incorporated in the bed of a vehicle without altering the bed's external appearance or various contours thereof, and without revealing the storage system by assembly of modules containing various individual components. The storage system is located adjacent the wheel well sections of the bed, and uses hinges to open and close fender/side panel sections of the bed, either upwardly, downwardly or sideways. Since the storage system does not alter the truck's external appearance, it reduces the attraction for theft. Also, since the storage area does not extend inwardly beyond the conventional wheel wells, the storage system leaves most of the truck bed free for use. The hidden storage system may incorporated into the bed of various side panel configurations without detracting from the appearance of the side panels configurations.
