Abstract: A tracked suspension for a tractor or other work vehicle is disclosed having an endless belt, a belt tensioner, a drive wheel, and a plurality of idler wheels mounted to a suspension frame or idler carriage, the assembly being arranged such that the belt tension provided by the tensioner is absorbed within the frame and is not transmitted to the axle extending from the tractor that drives the tracked suspension. The tracked suspension can be adjusted by loosening or removing mounting bolts that fix the suspension to beams extending from the vehicle, sliding the suspension toward or away from the vehicle, and tightening the bolts. By absorbing the belt tensioning forces within the tracked suspension itself, rather than transmitting the belt tensioning forces to the axle, the suspension can be more easily adjusted without requiring the removal and replacement of the drive axle.

Abstract: An automotive passenger restraint and protection apparatus for an automotive vehicle has a seatbelt and operates to restrain an occupant of the automotive vehicle by the seatbelt to protect the occupant. An electric retractor has a DC motor for retracting and protracting the seatbelt. An MPU applies voltage having a predetermined waveform to the DC motor, and then detects a waveform of current flowing to the DC motor. The MPU carries out fault diagnosis of the DC motor, based upon the detected waveform of current when the voltage having the predetermined waveform is applied to the DC motor. Thus, accurate fault diagnosis of the apparatus can be achieved.

Abstract: A trailing rope tensioning device for an elevator installation engages a trailing rope that extends from a first hitch point of a car frame to a second hitch point of a counterweight frame. The tensioning device has two tensioning pulleys that are arranged offset relative to a vertical direction of travel of the elevator and a transverse horizontal direction. This arrangement of the tensioning pulleys makes it possible to use relatively large tensioning pulleys resulting in a lower number of revolutions per unit of distance traveled, which brings about a reduction in noise from the bearings rotatably mounting the pulleys. Larger diameters of trailing rope and, as a result, fewer trailing ropes can be used. Furthermore, the tensioning pulleys can be standardized.

Abstract: An endless roller chain conveyor of the over/under type supporting carriers or pallets which independently travel along the horizontal runs of the conveyor upon demand, while the roller chain is allowed to continuously run at a constant speed. The chains are multi-strand roller chains. The carriers or pallets may be stopped and held along the horizontal runs of the conveyor (both top and bottom) using mechanically driven stop assemblies located at required load, unload, holdback, or workstation positions assigned to the particular application. The carriers or pallets are driven on the roller chains by way of guide sprockets, alignment bars, and support rollers. The guide sprockets are attached to an adjustable clutch assembly of the type which allows for adjustment of the rolling resistance to accommodate the particular load requirements of the specific application for a particular machine.

Abstract: Two adjacent operation knobs (14, 15) are formed integrally with each other via a coupling portion (18) On the coupling portion (18), there are formed a V-shaped gap variable portion (18a) and cylindrical portions (19) having positioning guide portions (20). There are provided pin-shaped positioning portions (22) on the switch body (11). To assemble the operation knobs (14, 15) to the switch body (11), each of the positioning guide portions (20) is mated with the positioning portions (22) and the front portion of the operation knobs (14, 15) is inserted into the opening (12). In cooperation with each of the positioning guide portions (20) and the positioning portions (22), the spacing dimension D2 between the operation knobs (14, 15) is narrowed, for example, down to 0.5 mm or less, and the spacing dimension is to be sustained.

Abstract: A draw-out arrangement for molded case circuit breakers is disclosed. A circuit breaker plug-in system generally comprises a plug-in base to which the draw-out mechanism is secured. The base includes a right plate and a left plate. A circuit breaker is movable between the right plate and the left plate and is retractably connected to the plug-in base by the action of the draw-out mechanism. The draw-out mechanism of the present invention includes a shaft connecting the right plate to the left plate which provides rigidity to the system and balances the circuit breaker during movement. When a crank is inserted into the draw out mechanism and used to rotate a lead screw connected therein, a rider positioned about the lead screw is prevented from rotating due to being sandwiched between a pair of plates. Movement is thereby translated into linear motion which is used to move the circuit breaker into or out of engagement with the plug-in base.

Each module comprises a vacuum cartridge moved by a movable rod articulated on a transmission lever. The pole shaft is linked to the transmission levers by means of a connecting rod. Furthermore, it enables switchgear apparatuses having variable distances between breaking modules to be produced inexpensively, based on a standard pole shaft. Finally, it enables differentiation of the switchgear apparatuses to be delayed.

The hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas is first passed into a scrubber and filtration unit where it encounters polysufide solution. Elemental sulfur is freed when the H2S interacts with the solution, the sulfur is filtered through a porous media such as a ceramic frit, and continues to a stripper unit where the excess H2S is removed from the sulfide solution. The excess H2S returns to the scrubber and filtration unit, while the sulfide solution passes into a photoreactor containing a semiconductor photocatalyst such as Cadmium Sulfide (CdS), Platinized Cadmium Sulfide, Pt—CdS, Zinc Sulfide, ZnS, Zinc Ferrate, ZnFe2O4, Indium Sulfide, In2S3, along with a 450-500 nm light source.
