Abstract: A substrate to be processed on which a thin film is formed is supported by a support member. The substrate to be processed is heated by a heating section. The surface temperature is measured by a radiation thermometer, and the heating temperature of the heating section is controlled by a control section, in response to the temperature measured by the radiation thermometer. Further, a blackbody is provided at a position optically symmetrical to the radiation thermometer with respect to the surface of the thin film. The blackbody is set at a constant temperature. The blackbody cuts stray light (noise light) which enters into the radiation thermometer.

Abstract: A metal finishing barrel side opening has a cover secured by a series of cover and barrel tabs, the cover slid into a secured position with the cover tabs partially overlain by the barrel tabs. A locking handle assembly includes a graspable portion supported on a deflectable spring blade attached to the cover at one end which allows the handle assembly to move away from an aligned locator feature on the barrel as the cover is pushed into position. When the cover is shifted lengthwise, the handle assembly moves past the locking feature, and the locking blade pushes the handle assembly back down alongside the locking feature which then prevents reverse sliding of the cover back from under the barrel tabs. When the handle is pulled to initiate removal of the cover, the handle assembly is then moved out above the locking feature to enable the cover to be slid to the released position. An automation apparatus interacts with one form of the locking assembly to automatically install and remove the cover.

The tool is pressed onto a ball grid array and the ball grid array is realigned either with simple pressure or pressure assisted by heating. Where a solder ball may have been deposited upon a die or a chip package in a diameter that exceeds that of the designed diameter, a corral tool is used to substantially conform the solder ball to design dimensions and a design location. As the corral tool is pressed against the solder ball, portions of the solder ball will reflow both into the substrate depression and into the corral. Where the total volume of the solder ball does not exceed that of both the corral and the substrate depression, the corral tool is adequate to achieve a designed solder ball height.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a magnetic tape cartridge including a cartridge case. In the cartridge case, a single reel with magnetic tape wound thereon is rotatably housed, and a leader pin coupled with a leading end of the magnetic tape is caught by a pin catching member of a recording-reproducing unit and is inserted into a tape leader opening formed in the cartridge case. The magnetic tape cartridge also includes a pin retaining spring member which elastically engages the leader pin so that the leader pin is detachably retained at a predetermined position within the cartridge case. Furthermore, a wall surface is provided in the cartridge case so that when the leader pin is inserted into the cartridge case, displacement of the pin retaining member due to the engagement of the pin retaining member with the leader pin is regulated within a predetermined range.

Abstract: Disclosed is an improved friction type of power transmission mechanism for driving a reel support in a VTR wherein the power is transmitted from the motor to the reel support via the follower pulley, which is sandwiched and clamped between a base disk and an annular plate. The follower pulley has a first friction ring sandwiched between the base disk and the lower flange surface of the follower pulley and a second friction ring sandwiched between the annular plate and the upper flange surface of the follower pulley. With this arrangement an increased torque can be produced without causing excessive abrasion. The diameter of the circular opening of one of the first and second friction rings is equal to or larger than the outer diameter of the other friction ring. This has the effect of saving the material of friction ring.

Abstract: A device for winding a power cord of an up-right vacuum is disclosed to wind the power cord on a fixed cord hanger and a rotary cord hanger by the rotation of the winding device for an easy winding. The device for winding the power cord includes a rotary member 100 inserted from the front side of the main body 200 into the rear side thereof. A power cord holder 400 is coupled from the rear side of the main body 200 into the front side for winding with guiding the power cord 300 toward a circumference direction by a rotation of the rotary member 100. A rotary hanger 500 is engaged on an upper part within a radius of the power cord holder 400 for pivoting together to smoothly wind the power cord 300 in a case of passing the power cord holder 400 and for repatriating not to come out the wound power cord 300 after passing the cord holder. And a fixed cord hanger 600 is positioned on a lower part inside the radius of the power cord holder 400 for winding the power cord 300 while passing the power cord holder 400.

Abstract: A filament winding apparatus winds yarn impregnated with resin around the surface of a mandrel with a guide member that moves back and forth axially. Yarn winding is initiated while an end of the yarn is held by a holding device provided in a relatively rotatable manner on a rotary shaft. After winding is started, the yarn extending from the mandrel to the holding device is cut. When winding is finished, the yarn is held with the holding device and the yarn is cut between the mandrel and the holding device with a yarn cutting device.

Abstract: A toilet paper dispenser adapted for use on bathroom walls, that entails a hollow box like configuration, sized to house a vertical column of a plurality of horizontal regular to large sized toilet rolls. A spring bias lever, shaped liked the number 3, will incorporate itself in storage chamber and on exterior front plate. Interior chamber appendage arms will store rolls. Exterior section of lever will pivot off its center point facilitating a shift of position of interior appendage arms, blocking stored rolls, while releasing loaded roll; then will inverse its function to release stored roll into blocked loaded position, which returns lever back to a checking of the two most bottom rolls. Rolls are delivered one at a time to a base designed to rotate toilet roll. A set of three rollers, confined by units side and back plates, will contain and facilitate rotation of toilet roll.

Abstract: The excess space and weight capacity of a conventional launch vehicle for a high-energy orbit, such as GEO, is used to deploy satellites to a low-energy orbit, such as LEO. In a preferred embodiment, an orbit-transfer vehicle provides the navigation, propulsion, and control systems required to transport a payload satellite from a high-energy-transfer orbit, such as GTO, to a predetermined low-energy orbit. Upon entering the low-energy orbit, the payload satellite is released from the orbit-transfer vehicle. To reduce the fuel requirements for this deployment via the orbit-transfer vehicle, a preferred embodiment includes aerobraking to bring the satellite into a low-earth orbit.
