Abstract: This invention enables the designation of alternative nozzle along with the designation of recommended nozzle. Also, this invention enables the independent set-up and registration of the data on the control during component handling for each nozzle. When both the first and second preferred nozzles are set up as valid, and both nozzles are stored in the nozzle stocker 17, the replacement with the recommended nozzle stored in the stocker 17 is made and the CPU 20 controls the operation based on the “control data (the first preferred nozzle)”. When both are set up as valid, but only the second preferred nozzle, not the first preferred nozzle, is stored in the stocker 17, the CPU 20 recognizes which nozzle is available by using the nozzle positioning data stored in RAM 22, and then the replacement with the alternative nozzle (the second preferred nozzle) is made, and the CPU 20 controls the operation according to the “control data (the second preferred nozzle)” of the alternative nozzle.

Abstract: A protective electrical junction box assembly and method of splicing which eliminates the expense and timed needed to pull new wire to add new wire or an electrical device to pre-existing wiring is disclosed. In use, a first protective sheath surrounding a first set of pre-existing electrical wires is separated to expose the first set of wires. The exposed portion of these wires is placed into apertures of a protective junction box. The separated ends of the first sheath are attached to the junction box. A portion of the second set of typically new wires is placed into the junction box. The second sheath surrounding these wires is also attached to the junction box. The first set of electrical wires are then spliced to the second set of wires within the junction box before covering and securing the junction box in place.

Abstract: A method for depositing a thermal interface onto a heat sink including the selection of a highly thixotropic compound formed into a bulk form so as to present a tip which is melted upon contact with a preheated heat sink. The tip cross section preferably corresponds to the cross section of the heat sink. Upon depressing a tip of the compound against the heat sink a resulting vacuum therebetween cooperates with the ambient air pressure to preclude migration of the melted compound beyond the exterior of the tip such that the compound is deposited on the heat sink in the desired cross section form. Upon displacement of the tip from the heat sink, the ambient air pressure precludes subsequent migration of the compound onto the heat sink precluding a build up of the deposited material thereon. The component may then be subsequently pressed against the subsequent heat sink without a deformation of the compound tip precluding a subsequent deposit.

A rigid metal strut stand has riveted axles on both ends that slide on rails cut into the post and the base. A locking device inside the post also shaped from stamped and bent metal is attached with rivets that slide on rails cut in the post. A pedal like component and a handle are riveted or welded to the post. Pressure fasteners will fit into holes in the post to hold sign. Bent metal strips extending from the post attached with screws will hold sign. Staples welded to post and locking device will hold a padlock. Springs are attached to pins or barbs cut from the metal. A second alternative embodiment has a commercially available lock installed in the post, sliding locking device will engage lock, locking device shape will fit type of lock used.

Abstract: A utility bracket designed for use in modular office arrangements wherein planar walls are used to form office cubicles is substantially planar and has a configuration, such as triangular, to fit within a corner formed by intersecting walls. Two of the legs of the triangle, for example, each has an array of a plurality of spaced U-shaped support member which fit down over the top of the walls to support the bracket in the cubicle corner. The support members are offset relative to each other along the lengths of the corresponding legs so that when two or more brackets are used to fill corners at, for example, a four corner intersection, the support members of two adjacent brackets interdigitate.

Abstract: A novel airplane shelter provides a plurality of arched vertical support members arranged axially along a line corresponding to the fuselage of an airplane to be sheltered. A cantilevered beam is attached to the apex of each arched vertical support member, forming a “spine” along the top of the aligned arched support members. The cantilevered beam is attached at one end to the rearwardmost arched support member, and the opposite end extends forwardly past the forwardmost arched support member to a point corresponding to the forwardmost point of an airplane to be sheltered. Separate lateral support members are placed at points corresponding to the wingtips of the airplane. The result is an open frame that defines a volume capable of enclosing an airplane. A covering material is placed over the open frame and stretched taut over the entire structure.

Abstract: An access door is suitable for installation in a structure such as a building and allows ready access to an enclosed region of the structure. The access door includes a door frame that can be mounted on the structure and that forms an access opening. A panel removably covers the access opening on an exterior side of the door frame. Two parallel connecting links are pivotably connected both to the door frame and to the panel in a manner permitting the panel to be moved from an open position where the access opening is uncovered to a closed position where the panel covers the access opening. A frame member connects the two links together in a rigid manner. One or more threaded fasteners can be used to detachably connect the panel so that it is secured in the closed position. In one embodiment, a single screw can detachably connect the panel to a pivotable connecting frame that includes the two links. In another version, the panel can be detachably and directly connected to the door frame by fasteners.
