Rather than the usual integrally formed cup used in pipeline servicing vessels, the invention proposes two segments, an inner and an outer segment. The two segments overlap each other but are freely separable from each other. Accordingly, when the outermost friction surface of the cup is worn out, the only part that requires replacement is the outer segment. Since the outer segment has thickness of only about 50% of than the inner segment, or carrier, the cost of such replacement is substantially smaller than replacement or refurbishing of the existing integrally formed cup.

Abstract: A cyclonic vacuum cleaner which suppresses the flow of dust-laden airflow to the outside of a dust collection container, even if fine or comparatively light dust particles ascend together with a vortex flow. Fine dust particles mixed in the vortex flow are captured by a filter 23 of a first vent hole 21 provided at a lower end of a base 19 of a vortex flow generating member 18. If the filter 23 is clogged with such particles to some extent, yet the airflow inside a dust collection container 15 is allowed to pass through a second vent hole 22 formed on the side surface of the base 19 of the vortex flow generating member 18 into an intake hole 12. As a result, a constant amount of airflow is insured. Further, owing to a skirt portion 25 provided around the first vent hole 21, the travel of the dust particles toward the second vent hole 22 can be prevented even though the dust particles captured by the filter 23 are carried on the vortex flow toward the second vent hole 22.

Abstract: A fastening device for footwear includes a base on footwear and a first hook extends from a top surface of the base. A locking member is pivotally connected the base and a recess is defined in an end of the locking member. The first hook extends through a notch in an underside of the locking member. Two slots are defined through the underside of the locking member. A plate is movably received in the recess in the locking member with two second hooks thereof movably received in the two slots. A third hook extends from the underside of the plate so as to be engaged with the first hook. A biasing member extends from an end of the plate so as to contact against an inner surface of the recess.

Abstract: Disclosed is a footwear lacing system comprising a lace attached to a tightening mechanism. The lace is threaded through a series of opposing guide members positioned along the top of the foot and ankle portions of the footwear. The lace and guide preferably have low friction surfaces to facilitate sliding of the lace along the guide members so that the lace evenly distributes tension across the footwear member. The tightening mechanism allows incremental adjustment of the tension of the lace. A release mechanism allows a user to quickly loosen the lace.

Abstract: An adjustable magnetic snap fastener for releasably connecting two pieces of material at any one of a number of possible positions. There are a number of stems attached to one plate and a number of magnets attached to another plate. Any one of the stems fits into a hole in any one of the magnets to connect the two sections of the fastener and hence the two pieces of material. Alternatively, there are a number of magnets attached to one plate and a number of magnets attached to another plate, oriented so that every one of the magnets on the first plate is attracted to every one of the magnets on the second plate.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method and apparatus to produce space dyed yarns. A yarn sheet passes over a yarn-driven roll equipped with a digital sensor that tracks the position of the sheet as it then passes through a dyeing apparatus. A computer precisely controls the spray application of dyes at the desired locations on the length of the yarn sheet to produce space dyed POY and FOY yarns.

The input devices are used for setting a maintain status of said chambers whereby said chambers can be available for a test process. A method for setting a plurality of statuses for a plurality of chambers in semiconductor equipment comprises setting a plurality of maintain statuses for the chambers and executing a plurality of test process in the chambers in the maintain statuses. To be specific, the setting step can simultaneously set an on-line status for each the chamber and the maintain status for other the chamber.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a capacitor using a tantalum oxy nitride (TaON) film in a process for a semiconductor device. More particularly, a method for manufacturing a capacitor which reduces a number of steps and thus increases yield by in-situ performing P-doping after forming a MPS (Metastable Poly Silicon) on a lower electrode and forming a nitride film before forming a tantalum oxy nitride film to prevent the concentration of phosphor contained in the lower electrode from being reduced by removing the phosphor on the surface of the lower electrode in a cleaning process between the above two steps, for thereby increasing the capacitance of the capacitor.
