Multiple scrapers of the same or varied designs are produced from a single sheet of plastic. The ticket scraper is effective for removing the obscuring surface of scratch-off tickets, but can be safely handled without risk to the user, the user's personal effects, or others. Production costs are minimized, while flexibility with respect to the appearance of the scraper produced is retained. Using conventional plastic sheet printing techniques, indicia comprised of a variety of shapes, designs and/or promotional logos/advertising are printed on a plastic sheet. Conventional die-cutting techniques are used to cut the scrapers from the printed plastic sheet.

Abstract: The invention relates to a windscreen wiping device (1), especially for vehicle windows, comprising a wiper arm (2) which can be activated and a wiper blade (4) which is arranged thereon and which comprises a wiper rubber (5) having a carrier element receiver (6) and a carrier element which is arranged therein. Said windscreen wiping device also comprises a wiper lip (12) which is arranged on the wiper rubber and which lies against the window to be wiped, and load alleviation means which alleviate the wiper lip when the windscreen wiping device (1) is in the parking position, and which preferably lift the wiper lip off the window to be wiped. The invention is characterised in that the load alleviation means comprise at least two interspaced pins arranged on the carrier element, and ramps (9) which co-operate with said pins (8) and which are provided on the window (17) or in the region around the window. In the parking position, the pins (8) drive against the ramps in order to alleviate the wiper lip.

Separating means, such as wire (90) is located adjacent the dispensing aperture for separating the particulate cleaning material at the aperture. The wire (90) helps to break up any clumps of particulate cleaning material which may form. In use, the plate (70) is vibrated to impart movement to particulate material in the hopper. The wire (90) can be carried by the plate (70) or by the hopper (52). Preferably the wire (90) is held under tension.

Abstract: Floor cleaning apparatus (10) comprises a dispenser (50) for dispensing particulate cleaning material onto a floor surface. Particulate material is held in a hopper (52). Movable part (70, 71) is movable with respect to the hopper (52) to define a dispensing aperture (75) and for imparting movement to particulate material in the hopper towards the dispensing aperture (75). Adjustment means (80) are provided for adjusting the operational width of the dispensing aperture (75) so as to provide a range of dispensing settings. Adjustment means (80) is pivotally mounted to the movable part (70, 71) about a rotational axis (82) and has an outer surface which acts as a camming surface. The radius of the outer surface varies in value in different angular directions about the rotational axis (82). Adjustment means (82) provides a discrete set of different spacings between the cam (40) and movable part (71).

In one exemplary embodiment, the mounting means includes a plate having a threaded hole structurally associated with or attached to the housing. The multi-directional mount is a pan head mounting head. A stand, such as a tripod, may be used to support the multi-directional mount upon which the blower is mounted.

Abstract: A discharging duct of an upright-type vacuum cleaner having side walls and a pair of ribs defining a passage portion, the passage portion connecting an air outlet pipe and a motor driving chamber of a cleaner body. A cover is connected to the duct and seals the passage portion. The cover includes side walls and sealing strips integrally formed thereon to tightly contact the ribs, the sealing strips completely contacting an outer surface of the ribs. Accordingly, the contact area of the cover with respect to the ribs of the duct is lengthened, and sufficient sealing effect is guaranteed without having to use a separate sealing member. Since the need for a separate sealing member is eliminated, the duct is easier to assembly and less costly to manufacture.

This hinge can also be used for reconstructing old damaged docks. The hinge comprises two stackable sheet of twisting members which are preferably flat, each having an arcuate front end for facilitating a twisting motion of the twisting members relative to each other, a mounting plate, and a central opening for accomodating a pivot rod; a fastener for keeping the hinge components together; and, preferably washers to protect the outside surfaces of the twisting members from abrasion. One side of the hinge preferably attaches to a dock section having a dock joint bracket while the other end preferably attaches to a plain corner bracket: to allow vertical pivotal movement of the dock sections in response to wave motions.
