Abstract: A spectacle holder in combination with a garment. The spectacle holder has an elastic loop fastened to the first portion of the front side of the shirt. The elastic loop has an opening ¼″ to ⅜″ in width, is 1¼″ in length and is shaped to receive an arm of a pair of spectacles. The adjustable strap latch is sized and shaped to receive an arm of a pair of spectacles. A hook and loop fastener is provided to adjustably secure a pair of spectacles in the spectacle holder. The strap latch is spaced 2 inches to 3 inches from the elastic loop so that the hinge of the spectacle arm inserted through the elastic loop will rest against the top of the elastic loop and the strap latch will secure the arm in place in the spectacle holder. Alternate embodiments of the invention are also described and claimed.

Abstract: This invention relates to a drain plunger that snakes clogged drains at the same time that the drains are being plunged. The “snake plunger” includes a pleated bellows forming a head section which is removably coupled to a handle. Further, in one embodiment, the head and handle sections are jointly configured to release air from within the bellows while the plunger is being inserted into a basin filled with wastewater, thereby reducing or eliminating potential spillover. Further, a flexible elongated snake disposed within the interior of the bellows enters the drain as the plunger bellows is compressed. The snake is capable of dislodging and breaking up obstructions within a drain. Further, the snake may also have a hook at its lower end that is capable of snaring items causing obstructions within the drain. These features combine to create a plunger that provides a superior ability to effectively clear clogged drains.

Abstract: A self-inflating, collapsible changing pad includes an open-cell foam cushion unit; a flexible, airtight cover enclosing the cushion unit; and a self-inflation valve situated in the cover and communicating between the exterior and interior of the cover. The valve is operable to inflate and deflate the cushion unit, whereby, when the valve is open and the cushion unit is collapsed, the cushion unit is expanded by the flow of air into the valve in response to the pressure differential between the interior and the exterior of the cover. To collapse the changing pad, the valve is opened, allowing air to escape from the cushion unit as the changing pad is rolled into a substantially cylindrical configuration. The valve is then closed to maintain the changing pad in this collapsed state.

Abstract: A support pillow comprises a cushion body having a medial region and two opposing arms that define a generally open well, with the cushion body having an outer periphery and an inner periphery adjacent the well. A shell encompasses and tightly conforms to the cushion body. A fabric cover is removably disposed over the shell such that the fabric cover conforms to the shell. The fabric cover defines an opening to permit the cover to be placed over the shell, and the fabric covering includes at least one fastener to close the opening once the cover has been placed over the shell.

Abstract: A tool handle structure comprises a fixation part at a front side and a movable part at a rear side. The fixation part terminates in a front end that includes a fixation slot for fixedly attaching a tool element. The movable part is pivotally assembled with an upper cover in a manner to be capable of being opened and closed relative to each other. A spring element and at least a peeling tool is mounted between the movable part and the upper cover, and a switch is mounted through the movable part and the upper cover to securely close the upper cover on the movable part. With this tool handle structure, different types of tool elements can be mounted to tool handle for adequate utilization. Furthermore, the peeling tool is adapted to peel off and cut the insulating layer of differently sized wires.

Abstract: Tanned leather is (a) pretreated in an aqueous and alkaline medium either with ammonia, primary amines or a mixture of ammonia and primary amines and then with a polyfunctional organic compound containing at least one aldehyde group as a functional group, or (b) in an aqueous and acidic medium with a polyfunctional organic compound and then ammonia, primary amines or a mixture of ammonia and primary amines, and (c) then dyed in an aqueous and alkaline medium with a water-soluble dye containing at least one functional group which is capable of reacting with one of the functional groups of the organic compound, forming a covalent bond. A tanned and dyed leather is obtainable with a high colour intensity, outstanding wet fastness and excellent grain lightness, wherein the dye is permanently and covalently bonded to the leather via a bridging group, preferably in the region of the surface, and the bridging group is essentially bonded to the leather via —N═CH— groups.
