Abstract: A uniform-type chef suit garment that appears to have physically separate jacket and pants but that includes an upper torso jacket and liner which is attached to the pants to optimize comfort by eliminating a fitted waist, while improving serviceability during cleaning of the garment. The garment includes various means that enable the wearer to don and remove the chef suit. In various embodiments, the pants are further adapted to be adjustable in length or to have a length limiting feature to prevent undesirable wear and soiling of the cuffs. In various preferred configurations, the jacket may preferably also incorporate a jacket taper adjustment feature as well as various implement holding elements that can be adapted to retain towels, gloves, cooking utensils, and other implements. Abstract: A disinfection device for a whirlpool tub that indicates the amount of remaining useful life of the device. The device includes two exposed electrical contacts arranged at a selected water level of the whirlpool tub. When the tub is filled and the water level in the tub is high enough to touch the exposed contacts, the water closes the electrical circuit formed by the contacts. The circuit monitors the number of times that the tub has been filled and checks it against a predetermined fill count. When the tub has been filed a selected number of times, the circuit indicates that the disinfection device needs to be replaced.

The cleaning and aromatizing apparatus comprises a main body having a receiving space, a first opening and a second opening, a container containing a cleaning and aromatizing solution therein and disposed in the receiving space of the main body, and a releasing device having a connecting portion to be communicated with the container and a receiving plate for receiving the cleaning and aromatizing solution. Thereby, the water can flow into the apparatus from the first opening of the main body and carry the cleaning and aromatizing solution released on the receiving plate out of the apparatus through the second opening of the main body, so as to clean and aromatize the urinal.

Abstract: An apparatus for rolling and unrolling a swimming pool tarp comprises a drum, a tarp, a plurality of slats wherein the tarp has a plurality of pockets. The slats are slid in the pockets through entry points situated at the ends of the pockets. The slats are mechanically fastened to the drum. At least one floating end is located at the end of the tarp distal from the drum so as to avoid any tendency of the tarp from extending underwater.

An outlet connection end connects the jet to a tub wall. A unidirectional flow mechanism within the tubular body allow a flow of fluid from the inlet end to the outlet connection end. A cavity is defined in the tubular body at the outlet connection end sized such that at least two holes in the tub wall are in fluid communication with the cavity, whereby fluid from the jet is injected into the tub through the at least two holes. A method for installing the jet to a tub wall is also provided.

Abstract: The present invention involves a new and improved stable and portable bath transfer system that provides a disabled person complete access to bathroom facilities without having to transfer apparatus. The invention comprises a chair portion, a connector bridge portion, and a bathtub portion. The chair portion includes a base section with two or more support members and an upper chassis section including an adjustable backrest, a collapsible chair seat, and two swing-away armrests. The connector bridge portion includes connecting members attached by a cross member. The bathtub portion includes a base and four adjustable support members that provide increased stability and fine adjustment capability to match the chair portion height. The bath transfer system includes an interlocking system containing a continuous groove and lipped brackets to prevent the upper chassis section from tipping or lifting, and anti-roll mechanisms and a volitional latch to prevent undesired sliding of the upper chassis.

Abstract: A fire resistant mattress includes a fastener that allows a mattress cover to be opened to expose a mattress core having at least one combustible component. The fastener is preferably a slide fastener or a hook and pile fastener. A flap of fire resistant material extends downwardly from the top surface of the mattress cover and covers the fastener during normal use to protect it against an open flame. The mattress meets the open flame test requirements of Technical Bulletin 603 of the California Department of Consumer Affairs.

Abstract: This is an inflatable cushion or mattress that is both easy to inflate and deflate by means of a large re-sealable opening. This opening is protected from bursting open due to the increased pressure caused, for example, by a large body lying upon the mattress. The means of protection is by pulling the primary closure under the mattress so that the pressure works against the walls of the mattress rather than against the primary closure. The primary closure is held in place under the mattress by a secondary closure made of hook and loop fabric. Furthermore, the cushion or mattress can have its internal air pressure finely adjusted by the use of a standard air valve incorporated into the mattress.

Abstract: A method of manufacture of a rapid dyeing, deep dyeing, open structure polyamide yarn and to the yarn and to a fabric produced from the yarn includes the step of applying an aqueous finish to substantially all of the rapid dyeing, deep dyeing, open structure polyamide filaments. The aqueous finish consists essentially of a fluorosurfactant dissolved in water that is applied to bulked continuous filament yarn at an effective concentration level of preferably 150 to 600 parts per million by weight of flourine on yarn. The aqueous fluorosurfactant finish is applied at a point after texturizing and before windup.

Abstract: An ethylenically unsaturated vegetable oil is modified by the addition of an enophile or dienophile having an acid, ester or anhydride functionality. The brush head may also include a locking means. Two of the many possible embodiments of the locking means using extended pins and corresponding holes are described herein. The modular brush head and modular handle allows handles with different designs to be fitted with brush head that has different bristle arrays to fit individual brushing needs. The invention is gum friendly and may function as a gum massager and environmental friendly since worn out brush heads are disengaged and thrown away. Such an engageable and disengageable brush head may be incorporated in an electrical toothbrush.
