Abstract: A subject-matter of the present invention is a dyeing composition comprising, in an appropriate medium, at least one dye precursor, and at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible amphiphilic block copolymer comprising at least one hydrophilic block and at least one hydrophobic block without a fatty chain of more than 8 carbon atoms, the hydrophilic block or blocks representing at least 30% by weight of the block copolymer, with the exception of block copolymers of ethylene oxide and of propylene oxide, block copolymers comprising urethane units and block copolymers comprising siloxane units. The composition of the present invention makes it possible in particular to obtain an intense colouring of the keratinous fibres while retaining a soft feel and ready disentangling subsequent to the colouring.

The system also includes a control circuit in communication with the plurality of electromagnetic sensors. A value is determined relating to a rotational synchronization of the first and second electromechanical screw jacks. When the determined value is outside a predetermined range of threshold values, a control signal is provided for affecting the rotational movement of at least one of the first and second electromechanical screw jacks.

When a sweeping element rotates in proximity to the ground, the longitudinal axis is substantially vertical. The vehicle may further include a computer system for tracking the location of an object.

The first version allows a user to insert one and up to four fingers into a channel and contact therein an inner surface of the substrate. A modification of the first version includes layers of protective sheeting interposed between layers of adhesives, whereby the first device provides consecutively available layers of adhesives for multiple use occasions. A second version allows the tips of the user's fingers to extend fully through and be exposed during use of the device, whereby the device may roll about the user's fingers as the user's fingers pass across and press against a fabric or textile sheet. A third version includes a thumb hole, where the substrate is shaped to substantially shaped to enclose the user's palm and four fingers when in use, and the user's thumb extends through the thumb hole.

The wax removal element of the present invention constitutes a substantially rectangular scraping panel that can be resiliently flexed along the elongated axis of the panel. One of the elongated edges of the panel is extended into a plurality of uniform gouging members that are adapted to penetrate the wax to prepare the wax mounted on the surfboard to be removed. The edge of the panel opposed to the scraping members is beveled to provide an edge that is adapted to remove the wax from the surfboard. Rotatably coupled to the bottom surface of the scraping panel are one or more accessories and hand tools used for maintenance of the surfboard and for the personal employment of the user.

The first and second sidewalls extending from a root disposed adjacent the dovetail to a tip cap for channeling combustion gases, and a squealer tip including at least one tip rib extending outwardly from the tip cap. The method includes the steps of removing the squealer tip, including the at least one rib tip, from the tip cap and adding new material to the tip cap to serve as a new squealer tip. A plurality of spaced-apart notches is formed in the new material between the leading edge and the trailing edge of the airfoil. At least one hole is formed in each notch communicating with the interior void of the airfoil for channeling cooling air from the interior void of the airfoil to thereby form a squealer tip.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a cylinder block for a multi-cylinder engine is disclosed herein. The cylinder block includes a crankcase and cylinder bores disposed therein separated by cylinder walls. The crankcase is adapted to receive a crankshaft and includes crank chambers disposed therein separated by partition walls. Each of the crank chambers of the crankcase corresponds to one of the cylinder bores of the cylinder block. The cylinder bore side of each partition wall has a honing runoff portion thinner in section than the crankshaft side thereof such that a step face results in the partition walls. Further, a runoff groove is formed in the partition walls of the crank chambers, and also a communication hole is formed at least partially within the runoff groove in at least one of the partition walls to enable communication between crank chambers.
