Abstract: This invention comprises products which are needed for home use to care for adults who are incontinent or have decreased mobility. Caring for an elderly or disabled family member can be difficult. Hospital beds are expensive, and may not be affordable to some people. The bed of this invention will be made of molded plastic, which will make it more affordable than a hospital bed. The air mattress sections will aid in turning, toileting, and provide back support when sitting up in bed. The removable side rails will provide safety during use. The foam mattress will have a recessed area which will help to keep a bed-pad in place during use. The disposable bed-pad designed to fit the recessed area of the foam mattress is different than disposable bed-pads currently available. It will have a top layer which has polystyrene beads mixed with fibers for wicking and treated with a surfactant. This will allow fluid to flow through the top layer into the absorptive layer below, keeping the skin relatively dry.

Abstract: A hood for a mechanized sweeper has dual portions connected via a mating surface and includes several downward depending flaps for increasing volumetric efficiency of defined vacuum plenum. The three flaps consist of a front flap, a middle flap, and a rear flap, and are of a cartridge type to facilitate replacement. The front and rear flaps are adjustable to allow for lowering of these two flaps in the event of wear due to friction against a paved road surface. A mechanism for raising the leading edge of the hood is also provided.

Abstract: A domestic appliance such as a cyclonic vacuum cleaner includes a component such as separating apparatus, carried by a chassis. A catch is provided and is operable to release the component from the chassis. The component and the chassis are able to move slightly with respect to each other. When the appliance is lifted, lugs on the separating apparatus move into slots on the chassis so as to inhibit release of the catch when the appliance is lifted. Thus, accidental release of the separating apparatus from the chassis is avoided.

Abstract: A glass door hinge structure includes a hinge base, an axial bolt, and a fixing base, and a glass door is installed into a clamping groove at the middle of a hinge base and the glass door is free of gaps for a direct installation, and the fixing base is fixed on the ground, and long screw thread holes disposed adjacent to a hole base of the fixing base are provided for turning two long screw bolts, so as to adjust and change the angle for leveling both sides of the glass door and enhance the screw connection and application of the long screw bolts. The resilience of a long spring coil installed to both sides of a transversal screw hole of the hinge base is enhanced to extend the life expectancy and resume the two glass doors quickly to their closed position.

Abstract: A typical door hinge pin may be removed and replaced by a longer stainless steel (or suitable alternative) rod which is bent into a rail or hanger of any suitable size and shape which swings from the hinge and is suitable for hanging items such as towels and clothes. The unique feature of this invention is that both ends of the rod are inserted into a hinge channel, allowing more sturdiness and versatility than similar rails with a single mounting. The two ends can either be inserted into the same hinge in a pincer-like fashion from above and below and secured by attaching a strut, or be inserted into two separate hinges, both from above, thus providing scope for a larger rail structure. Other notable features of the hanger include its durability, ease of manufacture, its scope for decorative forms, scope for attaching accessories such as hooks and support struts, the ease of installation and dismantlement, and lack of any damage resulting from this method of mounting.
