Abstract: Protective devices and methods suitable for users of pneumatic tools are contemplated for providing covering sufficient to stop or impede a nail's momentum for protection of more commonly injured areas of the body. Protective devices and methods are provided to protect areas of the body such as: a hand, including thumb and index finger of the hand not holding the nailer; a wrist; a knee; a foot; and/or an ankle. Protective covering can be made of any material that is sufficient to stop or impede the nail's momentum. The material may be flexible or stiff. The material may not significantly impede normal joint articulation or significantly interfere with normal work functions. Material can be stiff and the protective device be composed of smaller elements joined so as to allow normal articulation.

The fabric sheet has a laminated or coated liquid blocking layer. The sheet is stitched to the interior surface of the armpit section to produce a slight puff or pucker in the shield.

Abstract: A garment with an adjustable waist is disclosed, having an opening intersecting a waist section of the garment, a closure mechanism urging the opening to a narrowed position or a widened position to adjust the girth of the waist section, and a panel bridging across the opening, the panel being hidden by the opening in a narrowed position. An embodiment of the closure mechanism includes a slide fastener extending along the opening. Another embodiment of the closure mechanism includes a waist band for extension across the opening and for selective attachment to respective fasteners located along the waist section to correspond with adjustments in the girth of the waist section.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a protective mask adapted to be worn by a person engaging in the game of paintball. The mask has a main body to cover the front, sides, mouth and ears of a user's face. It also has a removable flexible transparent lens that locks into a rigid support frame formed in the mask. The mask also has a strap to securely support the mask on a wearer's head, and a removable face engaging element provided to accommodate a face of the wearer. This face engagement element evenly engages around the wearer's face in a cushioned manner because its face engagement portion is made of foam that engages the user's face along the entire perimeter of the face engagement element. The face engagement element is securely locked onto the mask by locking clips that fit into openings on both sides of the face engagement element.

Interfitting structure ranges from sealing segments to eyewear members which may attachably engage or simply interfit behind conventional eyewear. The eyewear members enables conventional eyewear to form a closer fit with the face of the user to protect the person's eyes from wind, water and foreign material. All embodiments contemplate selectable removability, replace ability and interchangeability.

In one embodiment, the mask is a diving mask and includes a soft flirt; a plastic frame formed with the flirt; a strap interconnected both ends of the frame; two auxiliary eye frames; two lenses fitted in the frame by securing the auxiliary eye frames to the frame; and a brace either fully or partially formed in either a central portion of the frame or a connecting portion of the auxiliary eye frames by subjecting to injection molding and cooling processes. The brace includes holes, latches, and recesses for increasing its secure engagement with the frame. The enhanced frame can effectively resist collision.

Abstract: A temperature difference swimming pool comprises a pool filled with water, a plurality of water curtain controlling devices, and a temperature regulating system. The water curtain controlling devices are spaced apart and arranged at a bottom of the pool, each of the water curtain controlling devices includes two juxtaposed pipes, a series of intermittent holes is formed in a top surface of the pipes and located along the length thereof and is vertical to the water surface of the pool, the pipes each has a close end, and another end of the pipes is connected to a pump. Water is suctioned by the pump into one pipe via the holes thereof, and is then spurted out of the other pipe via the holes thereof, thus making the water circulates and forming a water curtain in the swimming pool.

The fabric cover may be woven from polyolefin extruded monofilaments, and/or fibrillated tape yarns where the yarns have an antimicrobial agent added during the yarn extrusion process or added to fabric formed by the yarns. The fabric may be woven from traditional polyolefin extruded monofilaments, and/or fibrillated tape yarns before the resulting fabric is treated with a antimicrobial agent. Such treatment may involve spraying a solution onto the fabric or also dipping, soaking, or padding the fabric into the treating solution. The antimicrobial agent may form a zone of inhibition around the yarns and may seep out of the fabric to form zones of inhibition in the surrounding environment, like on the cover and/or in swimming pool water.

By incorporating a thicker and wider outwardly extending peripheral mounting flange, a tri-mountable sink rim is created. Having a flat surface on both the upper and lower surfaces of the outwardly extending peripheral mounting flange, the rim may be mounted as a drop in or an under mount sink assembly. By welding the separate pieces to form the sink assembly, substantially square exterior edges (of from about 85 to about 95 degrees, preferably from about 89 to about 91 degrees) are formed. These square exterior edges, as opposed to rolled or beveled edges, create a truly flush mountable rim, overcoming the limitations of prior art sinks. The additional thickness and width of the outwardly extending peripheral mounting flange provide adequate support for the sink assembly when flush mounted.

The pillow is formed of a core formed with variable displacement parameters along the length and width in the direction of the height. Abstract: A nozzle assembly of a vacuum cleaner capable of easily separating spidery dirt, such as hair, fur of a pet and the like, from a surface to be cleaned is disclosed. The nozzle assembly includes a nozzle assembly body; a drum brush unit disposed in the nozzle assembly body, and having a drum brush disposed to brush away dirt or dust adhered to a surface to be cleaned while coming in rotation contact therewith; and a subsidiary brush unit disposed to one of the nozzle assembly body and the drum brush unit, and having a subsidiary brush to preliminarily brush away the dust or dirt adhered to the surface to be cleaned.
