Abstract: A convertible wet suit system is provided that includes a torso fitting portion having tubular, partial limb coverings that terminate in first end portions, extended limb coverings having second end portions, and a coupling assembly for detachably connecting the first and second end portions. The coupling assembly includes a slide fastener that only partially circumscribes the first and second end portions, and at least one VELCRO® or snap-type fastener that detachably connects only part of the region between the first and second end portions that is uncircumscribed by the slide fastener such that some areas of the end portions remain unconnected when the coupling assembly is joined. Such unconnected areas between the first and second end portions advantageously maintain the elastomeric flexibility of the wet suit in the area of the coupling assembly.

The helmet is equipped with a pair of face-conformable gaskets, each of which is disposed along an outer edge of an associated one of the pair of eye shields and which is adapted to conform to the face of a wearer when the associated one of the pair of eye shields is moved into the usage position.

Abstract: A finger glove to cover a finger of a user includes a closed distal end and an open proximate end, a first row of longitudinal slots and a second row of longitudinal slots, the second row of longitudinal slots being offset with respect to the first row of longitudinal slots. The slots play roles in making the finger glove fit onto various sizes of human fingers and allowing the skin beneath the finger glove to breathe.

Abstract: A pair of pants is modified to mimic a pair of fashionably patched pants except that the “patches” are panels which forms pouches on the seat of the pants. Each panel is provided with a vertical box pleat which allows the pouch, formed by securing the panel to the fabric of the seat, to be expanded sufficiently to hold a cushioning means located directly beneath the lower tuberosity of each ischium of the wearer. The cushioning means is typically a pad of chosen compressibility which can be inserted and removed from its pouch by the wearer while the pants are being worn. The protective pads are effective to provide cushioning for only the area under each ischium and not for any portion of the thighs or lower back.

Abstract: In order to provide a garment which incorporates a plaything which can be operated within an element of surprise, the garment comprises a concealment space such as a pocket (2), in which a plaything such as glove puppet (8) can be stored. The concealment space comprises a concealment aperture (9). There is an operating aperture (10( through which a wearer may place their hand in order to operate the plaything. The plaything is configured to have a first position in which it is stored in an interior of the concealment space (2) and a second position in which it extends through the concealment space aperture (9).

Abstract: Various embodiments of this invention relate to gloves that provide an enhanced friction grip between the glove and the wearer's hand through a plurality of projections on the inner surface of the glove. The invention discloses an improved glove for gripping objects because the movement of the hand within the glove is minimized by the application of the plurality of projections to the inner glove.

Abstract: A vibration reducing golf glove, which includes a front panel for covering the inner portion of a wearer's hand and fingers, a thumb section for covering the wearer's thumb which is coupled to the front panel, and a back panel for covering the outer portion of a wearer's hand and fingers. Vibration reducing thick leather is coupled independently to the front panel at the palm, thumb and finger areas for reducing the degree of vibration. As a result, the vibration reducing golf glove provides a reduction in the vibration and shock transmitted to the wearer's and at the time a shock or vibration is applied to the outer surface of the glove.

Abstract: A goalkeeper's glove with a glove body portion and glove fingers attached to and in communication with the body portion for enveloping a wearer's hand includes an open arch extension with attachment legs on at least one glove finger to protect the finger from jamming injuries and to extend the reach of the wearer. The arch of the extension creates an air gap between the extension tip and the tip of the finger that acts as a crumple zone in absorbing and dissipating the energy of the impact away from the fingertip to prevent a jamming injury. The arch construction ensures that the energy from the impact will be directed along the attachment legs along the length of the finger instead of the fingertip.

Abstract: A novel hairnet of two embodiments; the first embodiment comprises two connected enclosures for enclosing and securing hair on the wearer's head, wherein one of the enclosures accommodating a ponytail extending from the back of the wearer's head. In the second embodiment the hairnet comprises two connected enclosures, wherein one of the enclosures accommodates a ponytail extending from the top of the wearer's head. The connected enclosures may be joined by an elastic band.

The cap combined with assistant tapes is allowed to enhance quality and yield of the cap by controlling flexibility of the cap properly so that a size of the cap is spontaneously adjusted according to a size of user's head without separate size-adjusting device. Abstract: A locking mechanism for a headgear suspension using two racks, a pinion, a driver and a lockable knob. The two racks are positioned on the suspension such that they overlap and permit engagement of the gears on the driver with teeth on the rack such that when the lockable knob is in the unlocked position the driver tightens or loosens the racks to adjust the diameter of the suspension to the user's head size. The lockable knob of the invention operates on a pull, rotate, push and lock system. There are no metal parts and the lockable knob can be locked and unlocked with one hand, by the user.

Abstract: A swimming goggles fastener system includes a pair of swimming goggles having a slot at each end. Each slot is adapted to receive an inelastic retainer strap provided with adjacent Velcro hook and Velcro loop elements at opposing ends. One end of the inelastic strap is inserted into a slot of the swimming goggles and is folded, thereby engaging the Velcro hook and loop elements to attach the strap to the swimming goggles. The other end of the inelastic strap encircles the head of the swimmer. Thereafter, the other end is inserted into the other slot of the swimming goggle and folded to engage the Velcro hook and loop portions, securing the swimming goggles to the swimmer's head. Pressure applied to the swimmer's head by the swim goggles is adjusted by the Velcro hook and loop elements. Eyecup water proofing pads and optional rubberized compression cushion pads are attached to the inelastic strap to limit the pressure applied to a comfortable level.

Abstract: An automatic flush toilet tank assembly is provided. The automatic flush toilet tank assembly includes a flotation assembly having a sealing device. The sealing device is adapted for releasably sealing a closure mechanism to prevent water flow through the closure mechanism. The device further includes a blocking mechanism releasably connected to at least a portion of the flotation assembly. The blocking mechanism has a first position for preventing buoyant displacement of the flotation assembly and a second position for allowing buoyant displacement of the flotation assembly. Buoyant displacement of the flotation assembly releases the sealing device and allows water flow through the closure mechanism. The assembly also allows the administration of anti-bacterial products without the need to come into contact with the potable water supply and contains an overflow mechanism in case the water supply cutoff to the toilet tank should fail.

Abstract: The present invention provides a door assembly for a walk-in bathtub. The assembly includes a frame shaped to fit a door threshold in the side of the walk-in bathtub, wherein the frame includes a track dedicated to accommodating a gasket along the length of the frame. The frame also includes a track dedicated to accommodating door hinges. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the frame is made of a single extruded piece of aluminum that is powder coated to match the acrylic surface of the walk-in tub. The door is mounted onto the frame with hinges. A gasket is inserted into the track in the door frame and forms a water tight seal between the door and the frame. The door assembly can be installed in the bathtub as a separate, pre-assembled system, similar to a pre-hung door.

Abstract: A new and useful therapeutic device and method designed to receive the occipital condyle of a human skull and to engage the suboccipital area of a human skull in a manner that promotes one or more therapeutic modalities (e.g. muscle inhibition, occipital decompression, cranio-sacral release), while also accounting for different anatomies of the persons who use it is provided. The therapeutic device includes a base and a cushion that are configured such that the cushion can be selectively supported on the base in either of two configurations; a relatively high configuration and a relatively low configuration. The base and cushion are also configured such that in either the relatively high or low configurations, the base and cushion define a support for the occipital condyle of a human skull and engages the suboccipital area of a human skull in a manner that promotes one or more therapeutic modalities (e.g. muscle inhibition, occipital decompression, cranio-sacral release).

The pillow is structured to adapt to the curvature along the head, neck, and chest of a user, such that the neck is relaxed and moderately drawn, while the muscular ligaments of the neck and small articulation of the neck vertebrae are automatically adjusted, thereby effectively protecting the neck vertebra.

An antenna including a plurality of antenna elements is disposed proximate the aircraft-engaging end of the passenger boarding bridge. The antenna emits radio frequency waves and receives from the passive RFID tag a wireless data communication signal including the encoded data. A processor is provided for identifying the encoded data within the wireless data communication signal, for determining an angle of arrival of the encoded data based on differences in signal received at each of the plurality of antenna elements and for determining an intensity of the signal including the encoded data.
