The inner and outer surfaces of the film/rim layers (20/30) are planar and parallel when the eye-covering assembly is in a pre-use relaxed state. The inner and outer surfaces of the film/rim layers (20/30) are curved and the rim layer (30) is compressed in certain regions, when the eye-covering assembly is in an in-use conforming state whereat it conforms to the contour of an eye-surrounding portion of a user's face.

Abstract: A protective bib for safeguarding clothing of a user from spills, stains, or burns, while eating, drinking, or smoking while traveling in a vehicle, train, plane, bus, boat, or other mode of transportation having or not having a diagonally extending seat belt. The protective bib has a protective covering generally trapezoidal in shape, including a top edge, a top liner, and a non-permeable bottom liner. An adhesive secures the top and bottom liners together. The top edge extends diagonally across the chest of the user and has a self-contained textile adhesive envelope-like flap which secures the bib in place.

Abstract: A necktie restraining device that restrains unwanted movement of neckties worn by a wearer along the front portion of a dress shirt having uniformly spaced fastening buttons. The necktie restraining is composed of an elongated member and a horizontal member attached transversely to the elongated member. The necktie restraining device has three uniformly spaced button holes disposed vertically on the elongated member that align directly and engages the uniformly spaced fastening buttons on the front of a dress shirt. The horizontal member of the necktie restraining device is attached to the elongated member between the middle button hole and either of the button holes located on each end of the elongated member, forming a loop that enables the narrower end of a necktie to be inserted through the loop permitting essential vertical movement of the neck apparel along the restraining device, while generally restraining all other movement.

Embodiments of the fabric, garment, and methods for making the fabric and/or garment can provide in a protective garment a unique combination of sorptive/reactive capability, flame resistance, water vapor permeability, liquid impermeability, comfort and durability.
